Muchas gracias por tu amabilidad y tu dulzura. Solo estuvimos unha noche para ya a la mañana siguiente adentrarnos en la selva amazónica. La sensación fue realmente de hogar. Desayunar en familia rodeados de naturaleza y un precioso amanecer. Gracias por todo. Él Amazonas no se puede explicar con palabras. Volveremos. Fernando y yo os deseamos lo mejor a toda la familia

Maricela was a wonderful host, welcoming us warmly despite our lack of Spanish. She cooked a delicious breakfast and even connected us with her brother Elvis, who organises fantastic tours in the Amazon. The pool was welcome relief after a hot day. The place was also exceptionally clean. I hope we can come back one day.

La tranquilidad de la casa y muy serviciales la sra Maricela y su esposo, demasiado atentos y muy pendientes del turista, nos brindaron recomendaciones para los tours. Un ambiente muy familiar con las ventajas de casa, siempre un cafecito caliente, si desean pueden cocinar, hay una cocina totalmente amplia y muy linda.

La qualité de l'accueil et le disponibilité de Maricela. L'emplacement est calme et proche de l'aéroport, avec un accès au centre ville très facile à pied ou en moto taxi.

We chose Casa Amazilia to land after spending a week in a jungle lodge deeper in the Amazon. It was perfect. We were friendly welcomed, offered bananas any time of the day, there was fresh filtered water. It was not the most luxurious but our room had everything we needed and price-quality it was perfect. We liked the location as it was walking distance from both town center and airport so no need to take a taxi although to the town center a tuktuk is also possible as it's a little bit further. The house is located in a quiet dead end street and sometimes monkey pass by.

Like coming home, the lady of the house (sorry forgot her name) was amazing. She was extremely kind and helpful. She even allowed us free of charge to leave our stuff, shower, and just relax for a while after we came back from a 4 day tour. We also spotted some really cute monkeys twice just outside the house... Can only recommend

Everything was perfect

Sehr liebe Gastgeber, sehr familiär orientiert. Zimmer eher klein, aber fein. Bad super. Pool und Innenhof gemütlich. Aktuell gibt es dort auch Affen zu sehen.

Eine Klimaanlage würde die Unterkunft auf eine 10/10 bringen :).

The owner is fabulous! Marziela connected me with a tuktuk city tour the day I arrived and with Wirapuru Tours for three glorious days in the Amazon region. Both Casa Amazilia and Wirapuru Tours were great!

Maricela und ihr Mann sind wunderbare Gastgeber! Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Die beiden sind super hilfsbereit und hatten tolle Tipps für Leticia und die Umgebung. Das Frühstück war lecker, vor allem die frischen Säfte und Früchte. 😍 Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt super flexibel gestalten und haben spontan um zwei Nächte verlängert. Während wir im Regenwald waren, konnten wir unser Gepäck dort lassen. Die Unterkunft ist fußläufig zum Flughafen, aber dennoch sehr ruhig. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😊

Alles perfekt!

De hostes was echt ontzettend gastvrij en lief. Ze hielp ons met alles wat we nodig hadden. We verbleven hier voor- en na de jungle en konden onze tassen veilig achterlaten. We hebben ter plekke nog een ontbijt er bij geboekt die ook echt lekker was. De kamer was ruim en de douche was fantastisch (wel koud, alleen maar fijn met deze temperaturen). Als je een fijn verblijf zoekt voor de jungle kan ik je deze zeker aanraden!

Wir haben selten so eine herzliche Gastfreundschaft wie bei Maricela und Co. erlebt. Maricela ist mir ganzen Herzen Gastgeberin. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht. Top - wir kommen wieder....

Das Personal ist super Herzlich und hat uns als wir krank geworden sind die ganze zeit weitergeholfen und vieles für uns organisiert. Es waren mit die freundlichsten und hilfsbereitesten Menschen die man sich wünschen kann.

La dueña, la Sra. Maricela y sus esposo, nos ofrecieron gratuitamente café e infusiones y nos dieron mucha información y nos ayudaron con la información turística. Fueron muy amables y colaboradores.

L’emplacement proche de l’aéroport, mais trop loin du centre-ville. (30 minutes de marche). La maison est un peu décevante par rapport aux photos.

Sehr sehr sauber ! Alles war picobello geputzt und nett eingerichtet. Unglaublich nette und freundliche Menschen, ruhige und sichere Lage. Maricela und ihre Familie haben uns sehr herzlich begrüßt, wir durften Mojojoy probieren und sie haben uns auch sonst bestens umsorgt. Der Pool war herrlich !

Das wir nicht länger bleiben konnten

A truly beautiful and welcoming home stay. Maricela is such an attentive and friendly host that greeted us with open arms to her lovely home. The rooms were comfortable and the pool was just what we needed after a long flight. Mari is charismatic, funny, full of energy and advice and will be determined to make your time in the Amazon a memorable one. Her brother Elvis, who also greeted us when we arrived, runs an ecotourism operating agency called Wirapuru Bird Lodge and Food which runs Amazon tours. My partner and I went for a 3 day tour with Elvis which was the highlight of our travels around Colombia and Brazil. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Under Elvis’s care and guidance, we truly immersed ourselves in the Amazon and saw so much wild life. We also learnt so much, Elvis was an encyclopaedia of knowledge and is such a kind spirit who is passionate about the Amazon and conservation. He is also semi famous (lol) featuring as an Amazon guide on various TV documentaries and has published several books on Amazon conservation. I cannot recommend Mari and Elvis enough, they went above and beyond to make our time anamazing one and am already hoping to return. Thanks both!

Casa Amazilia kann ich wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, sehr sauber und das gesamte Haus entspricht genau den Fotos, man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Pool ist ein echtes Highlight und lädt wunderbar zum Entspannen ein. Was diesen Ort jedoch besonders macht, ist die unglaublich herzliche, liebevolle und aufmerksame Art der Gastgeberin. Man wird offen empfangen, umsorgt und fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Frühstück kann auf Wunsch dazugebucht werden und ist frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Casa Amazilia hat eine ganz besondere, warme Atmosphäre. Ein Ort zum Ankommen und Wohlfühlen, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diesen wunderschönen Ort von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Man merkt, dass sie die Gäste mit viel Herz empfangen und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Sie sind sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können Casa Amazilia nur weiter empfehlen.

La amabilidad de la host, me sentí como en casa. Buena ubicación cerca al aeropuerto, cama cómoda, todo súper limpio. Hasta me prestaron una bici para recorrer Leticia. También pude usar la cocina para prepararme cena.

Super sweet owner, she helped us a lot with our stay in Leticia, we had a great time thanks to her! She even went to get us with her car as we were stuck outside Leticia and stored our baggage while we were in the Amazonas. Property is very clean, nothing to complain. We happily went back for another night.

Die Familie war so nett und hat sich so gut um mich gekümmert. Ausflüge organisiert etc. Sie haben mir ihr Rad geborgt, damit ich ins Zentrum fahren kann. Es gab tolle Früchte zum probieren! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Frühstück herrlich 😊

La ubicación fue muy buena, es muy cerca del aeropuerto, y en general todo es muy cerca, son como 15 o 20 min caminando al centro de la ciudad

La piscine très agréable et jolie L’endroit est très calme C’est une maison donc vous ne serez pas nombreux contrairement aux hôtels Sécurisé

Hôte très accueillant et aidant, logement soigné conforme a la description, pour un transit situation parfaite car a 5 minutes à pied de l aéroport (cependant pas où très peu de bruit d avion).

Si l on doit trouver un point négatif, piscine agréable mais peu profonde

Photos un peu avantageuses. Ne comptez pas vous baigner dans la piscine : celle-ci est plus un bassin qu'une piscine. Pas de rangement dans la chambre ni serviettes mises à disposition. Chambre donnant sur la cour d'entrée intérieure avec des rideaux peu occultants. Douches froides.

This is a wonderful homestay option, near the airport. We were collected from the airport and when we opted for hot chocolate rather than coffee, this was provided for breakfast. Very caring and hospitable.

Powerful fan was provided, just be aware no aircon.

The hosts are both friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for me as its a walking distance from the airport so it was very convenient since I had a late flight!

Amazing hosts, warm welcome, super comfortable rooms, quiet, great home made breakfast and a super chilling swim pool to cool off in the morning or night! We couldn't ask for more. We stayed there before and after coming back from a jungle trip and it just felt like coming back home. Highly recommended!

We liked everything about our visit. Our host was the best. Hope we had ever encountered. She was helpful in getting us to find good tours. She was able to help us get a moped to travel around town. She was super super kind and friendly, but definitely want to stay here again.We felt like we were staying with our friend 🩷

The host was super nice and helpful. She helped us organising a taxi and choosing a good restaurant. We got a small breakfast even though we left really early. The pool was clean and refreshing.

It was such a perfect one night stay and the most comfortable sleep we had in more than 10 days in the Amazon. The breakfast was great and the hosts were so friendly and helpful! We hope to return!

We had one night in Letizia before our tour and this was the perfect place to be. Maricela and Armando were wonderful hosts and we felt so welcome in their home. They put an extra single bed in the room so we could sleep four (2 adults, 2 small children). Our girls could use the pool and Maricela was so kind to keep our luggage and drop us back at the airport after our tour. The house is very close to the airport. You could walk there, it is just a bit hot in the day! You can also walk to town (about ten minutes) but there are also tuc tucs available. The room has very good air conditioning and a huge bathroom with shower and bathtub. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone with a stopover in Leticia.

After four nights in very rustic camps upriver along the big river, this was the oasis of comfort I didn't know I was looking for in Leticia. Incredibly welcoming hosts, a hot shower in an immaculate bathroom, a relaxing swimming pool, and all just a few minutes walk from the airport. Maricela and Armando are delightful and helpful, and their house is modern and beautiful.

The hosts are great and super helpful. We were able to organise a tour through Marcella's brother Elvis. The hotel is super comfortable, small and personal.

Casa amazilia is the perfect stay for everyone arriving in Leticia. The airport is in walking distance but it is still very quiet in the area the house is located. The city is a 15 minute walk (or you can use a Tuktuk). The room was nice, comfortable and clean. There is also a nice pool outside to use since it’s very hot in Leticia. The best thing about Casa amazilia is the Maricela! She is so welcoming and tries everything to help you with planning your next steps. Even if you don’t speak Spanish she’s gonna manage to talk to you somehow (or make you try to speak Spanish, perfect if you want to improve your Spanish-skills haha). We loved our stay with Maricela and her family and would definitely recommend to come here ☺️

We felt extremely welcome and at home in Casa Amazilia. They helped out with everything: waited for us at the airport to arrange transport, brought us to the centre of town for dinner, arranged tuktuks and invited us for lunch. Quiet side of Leticia and close to the airport. Far beyond any expectation and the perfect place if you would like a more personal touch.

Maricela was the perfect host. She was very kind and helped us with everything, including managing to order dinner. She even took me on her motor bike to get pizza.

Maricela and her husband are wonderful hosts. they picked up us at the airport and made us feel like at home. they were friendly and offered us coffee and agua panela to refresh us and also some fruits tk stay fresh in the morning. lovely people in a lovely place.

the ventilator was a bit noisy even in sleep mode. the mattress quality was not so high. it makes some plastic noise when moving.

I spent four days with Maricela in the bedroom with a private bathroom. Maricela is a lovely host, she picked me up at the airport and she talked me through different options of things to do in the upcoming days. She can put you in contact with a guide for any type of activity you would like to do. Her house is very nice, very welcoming (and her dog Niky is lovely!) My room had AC and a hammock in front of the door, super cosy. The bathroom was clean and very big. You can take a moto-taxi to town (Maricela can call one for you) or walk, it takes around 15/20 minutes and it's very secure. I really appreciated that Maricela was always waiting for me when I came back from dinner or activities - as someone travelling alone, it was nice to know someone was looking after me. I would recommend going for lunch in Terras Amazonas (excellent Wifi) and have ice cream at Nàì Chì Gelatería Artesanal after watching the birds settle for the night in Park Santander... Magic!

The Wifi was almost never working, but it's not to do with the accommodation, it's just the way it is in Leticia!

The host was very helpful and friendly. It was quiet and a great place to escape the heat. It was easy to make travel arrangements with their help.

Every aspect was adequate.

Staying with Mari and her family made my visit to the Amazon absolutely amazing. From the moment Mari picked me up at the airport on her motorcycle until she took me back 5 days later I felt cared for in a way that would never have happened in a hotel. It can be so confusing to sort out tours, etc. in Leticia, but Mari listened to what I wanted to do and see and helped me set up an itinerary that was just perfect. The highlight of the trip being a solo 5-hour walk/canoe ride with her brother, Elvis, through the jungle. He has a wealth of knowledge about all facets of the jungle and the people who live there. I am so grateful to Mari to opening her home to me and making me feel like part of the family.

I can't think of a single downside to staying at Casa Amazilia.

The host Maricela was the highlight of my stay! She came and picked me up at the airport and was attentive throughout the entire stay. She even took me to the ferry. Her whole family in fact made me feel right at home. The location was great, close to everything but away from the noise and the facilities were clean and comfortable.

It's a cery beautiful home and the host was very helpful and caring. Maricela tried to help us with our travel plans and gave us a lot tips and contacts to help us. The pool was really amazing in this hot weather. The room and the bathroom was clean. The area was 15min walk from the center. So it was calm and good to relax and get a good night sleep.

Everything was great! The hosts are the most friendly people, they even took us back and forth to the airport and they will make you feel like home! The house is beautiful and clean and the little pool is a life saver after a hot day. Amazon is so hot but it was very fine to sleep in the room with the fan. I would recommend to stay here for sure!

If I have to say something negative, the location is a bit further away, but it was only 15 min walk from the center, so I didn't mind. The area was quiet and safe. Also the wifi didn't work but seems that it's a general issue in Leticia.
