Personal molt amable i atent.

Rustige omgeving. Mooie kamers en heerlijk zwembad. Ontbijt was top!

Diner was redelijk prijzig.

The place is lovely and clearly well cared for. Everything was clean, comfortable, and matched our expectations for the price. The pool was in great condition and nicely located close to the cabins.

We enjoyed the very spacious duplex room and the nice pool. Personnel was attentive and helped us with onward transport. The breakfast was very nice and included a large plate of fruit.

The hotel's location is somewhat isolated, 2 km from the town center.

Comfortable room, comfortable bed, nice swimming pool, good location in Leticia but far from noisy center. Very, very kind and helpful staff, they helped us organize activities and were a big help in all we needed from finding a taxi or tuk tuk to calling agencies for tour guides.

No complaints here.

Good breakfast! Kind, helpful and welcoming staff. We loved the pool!

Perfect stay in lovely Leticia! We returned here after our Amazonas trip and we really enjoyed our time here. The room was clean and spacious enough for our family of 4. The kids loved the swimming pool and we enjoyed the hammocks and relax chairs around the pool. As a small hotel, Utuane offered a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere and that was just what we needed. The city center of Leticia is easily and affordably accessible by tuk-tuk, and the reception staff is more than happy to assist with calling one, ordering a pizza, or anything else you might need. Overall very laidback place and would absolutely recommend.

The double bed had a mosquito net, which we appreciated. However, the beds for the kids did not have one. Would be good to provide this for the future.

We had to transfer to this hotel after our previous booking with another hotel had overbooked us. As such, we only had one night with them but wish we had stayed longer. They were more than we expected, making us feel completely at home, the owner who you speak with on whatsapp was so accommodating and kind. We had an incredible room that had a huge balcony overlooking the river. The room was so clean, linen smelt so fresh, and the village was so welcoming with the sweetest children. One little girl even waited for us as we were leaving and gave me her lip gloss which shows how truly kind this village and community are.

It's not as surrounded by the jungle as other places as it is in the village. Still lots of animals to see though and great views to the river. My partner also saw a pygmy owl right next to our balcony in the evening. I actually would say I prefer this location so you don't get all the unwanted guests into your bedroom at night (previous hotel we stayed at had a huge tarantula in the room).

Nice pool comfortabel beds helpful personel good food in the restaurant although there was not much choice

Little bit remote

La piscine, grands chalets, personnel gentils

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the town square (Santander Parque) in Leticia, which was fine to walk in the daylight, but I wouldn't do it late at night. We did end up getting a bit turned around after dark and getting a tuktuk to return us to the hotel! The cabins were clean and spacious with cute decor and a fridge, and the staff was friendly. One of the hotel staff showed us monkeys eating papaya just outside the hotel one morning, which was great. There was always drinking water available and wifi in the lobby area. The breakfast was fine. The best part of the hotel was the beautiful outdoor pool, which was a fantastic way to cool down as we were not used to the heat in the Amazonas.

The receptionists were very kind, they call a Tuktuk anytime you need a ride. There is fresh and cold water available for you to drink anytime.

The hotel doesn’t offer food, only the breakfast. If you want dinner you must ask for it with anticipation or ask for delivery from other place. There are no snacks, we were told a waiter or barman was going to arrive, we waited until 5:00pm and nobody showed up so we left. The pool water was not that crystalline. There’s no place to hold the soap or shampoo.

The most amazingly helpful staff and beautiful location.

Wifi is a little hit and miss however this is a tiny thing and something you should just not worry about when in a remote location. I had an interview via zoom so maybe next time I would be smart enough to organise it for a different time haha

Monkey Room. Our room was great. Very clean, with AC and all the basics. Staff is really friendly and helpful. They organise for us an early cab and everything was great. The Swimming pool is very well maintained.

A bit far away from the centre. You should get a tuktuk to pick you up and drop you off at the hotel.

A nice property in Letici, a little further from town. We only stayed for a night so we didnt get a chance to use the pool but everything else was nice, especially the beds were very comfortable.

The people were really friendly and helped with everything we asked for. When we left they were decorating for christmas and wanted to take pictures with us. The location is very nice. The rooms have a good size and have a balcony with mosquito-nets. The pool is perfect and even has a freshwater shower next to it.

Not that it was a bad thing, just to mention it: You will be in the amazon rain forest, there will be some animals, it is possible that one enters your room. Hotel Utüane did everything for this not to happen, but it still can. There is only cold water (this is no problem, the air is hot enough), and there is no hair dryer in the room. As all Hotel and Hostel rooms in the world, it lacks hooks to hand clothes, towels, usw.

Our own room and bathroom. We stayed twice, once at beginning of Amazon and end. Second room much better with air con.

Pool was under construction - couldn’t use.

the pool and the coffee

excessively priced. The hotel is in the outer skirts of LETICIA. The bed was not comfortable and the sheets and pillows did not smell clean. The breakfast was too simple, no effort put in. this experience was not even worth half of what we were charged.

If you came to check on this hotel, you can stop serching. You found the best hotel in Leticia!!! Its a beautiful place! By the way, what attracted me to this hotel in the first place was the fact that they left bowls with food and water for the street dogs. I thought to myself that such a hotel must be an outstanding hotel, and indeed I was right. A very High class hotel with prices of an economical one. Your buck goes a long way in terms of: location quality, cleanliness, facilities, comfort, staff and free internet. From the moment you enter you feel luxury, the staff is amazing!! And it is clear that the hotel has a very high standarts of service, the staff really goes out of their way to give you the best experience, and it is clear that the guest's satisfaction is the top priority of the staff. It starts from Galiana at the reception. Carlos - in the dining room Elisabel - the coffee queen... And most of all the manager, Ishmael - What a charming guy, humble, full of kindness, personal charm and willingness to help. We stayed at the hotel for a week, and felt like family. Besides the great attitude, the hotel is beautiful, the service consciousness is very high, the rooms were also large, spacious and clean, and well equipped. There are two wonderful pools. Excellent restaurants - where there is a variety of food and exquisite service. The hotel is in a superb location; 10 minutes drive from the airport, and close to the city center - to all restaurants, travel agencies, shops, and in front of a bank, where there is also an ATM machine. In short, an unforgettable experience. And to top it all off, since we missed a flight, and had to purchase new plane tickets for the next evening - they allowed us to check out in the evening at no extra cost. There are many pictures I took on this trip, but the one that is closest to my heart is the one where I took a picture with the manager, Ishmael. Highly recommend!!!

Really friendly staff, helpful and understanding. Nice swimming pool and good value for money. Room with good airco. Quiet outskirts of town. Breakfast decent simple.

Maybe bed lights could increase the comfort. No hot water in shower but who needs that in the jungle?

breakfast was adequate. the pool was lovely and clean

Hot water would have been preferable as we'd been in the jungle and needed hot showers

A lovely little hotel that is a great gateway to the Amazon. We stayed one night before and after our tour into the Amazon and loved the comfortable stay. The pool was fantastic!

This hotel offered a relaxing oasis from the bustling nearby town of Leticia. The hotel grounds and guest lodging were well-maintained, and rather clean throughout our stay. The hotel had a handyman on site who was so kind and friendly pointing out animals on the hotel grounds or nearby — sloths, monkeys, bats, and tarantulas— which provided our children with hours of entertainment. The pool area was impeccably clean and a welcomed attraction to cool off in after a long day trekking in the heat and humidity. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodations in the area.

We stayed at Hotel Utüane for one day on either side of an intrepid journey through the Amazon. We loved it. The staff were lovely, the pool was great, and it was peaceful and quiet. My only complaint was the pillows, which I found way too big and hard, but it was a small problem. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to the Amazon.

The place is unique and beautiful. Some one put a lot of heart in to creating that place. Highly recommend. The breakfast is wonderful as well 😬

The staff is very kind, always willing to help and give information about tours, tourist spots, transportation… (for dinner or lunch at the hotel you have to ask for it in advance, they may call a taxi or tuk tuk, book tours through Amazon river and other villages, food deliveries, etc.). The hotel is located about thirty minutes walking distance from Leticia's downtown. The simple bungalows are cozy, no aircon but a fan, at night you can hear a lot of animals' sounds, but is all about it: you are being part of the jungle. The cleaning of the room could be improved, but as for the bathroom it was entirely clean. Water pressure in the shower is low and temperature kinda cold, but it is not a big deal for most people because weather is very hot and humid.

The Receptionist was excellent. She was able to help us a lot with our arrangements despite us not being able to speak any Spanish. She did it with patience and humour. The staff in the restaurant were also very helpful and accommodating; they looked after us very well despite us not being able to understand any Spanish. The housekeeper did a good job in our room each day.

The taxi driver that took us to the hotel from the airport. Ask why we choose a hotel "so far" (5 minutes drive) from the city center. I just answer that it looked good. When we arrived I understood that I made the right decision. The hotel is located in a calm neighbour of Leticia and very close to the forest, sometimes little monkeys dare to come from the trees and you can feed them. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. And you can taste the real flavor of colombian food. (Instead of the fancy stuff they serve you at big resorts) There are some details that the hotel can improve like putting a little bar, and better wayfinding from the city (some biketaxists still get lost). But is very organized, clean and calm.

We, a group of Colombian and British with different likes, enjoyed staying here – all the staff were lovely, assisting us whenever we asked and the hotel itself was a refuge away from the middle of Leticia, wonderfully quiet. Well, apart from the screaming Guest who made us feel we might be witnesses to a murder. The cabin was just fine, comfortable with everything we needed. A dip in the pool after a day on a boat was wonderful. It’s true the wifi is slow, but what’s the hurry? Breakfast was fine but there is, if I’m honest, room to improve the other meals.

The hotel is a great option when going to the amazon colombian part (Leticia), is a little bit out from downtown but remember leticia is still really small, so theres no problem getting there is going to take you 10 min from everywhere and les than 3 dollars, the hotel has beatuiful cabins with two floors, one bathroom and hamaca and a balcony and the crew is amazingly polity and beautiful people. if you need meals throughout the day you can get then there no problm, if you want to enjoy the pool they have a nice one, and if you want to enjoy monkeys this is the great part, one of the memebers crew has a very good relationship with some small monkeys called "Lecheros" from the TITI family ask them you may see them and you could even feed them.

Like in other small towns in Columbia, hotel staff barely speaks English, but avery welcoming, helpful and friendly. Check in process was very fast and with a delicious welcome drink :) We traveled as a large group of friends and we got one bungalow per four people. Two of us stayed on the first floor and two others occupied both bunk beds on the second floor. For me personally beds were comfortable, sturdy. Note that rooms are not air conditioned, there is one ceiling fan and one wall fan per floor. Since it rains every day, rooms are quite moist. You may wake up early together with birds tweeting loudly very close to your bungalow. Shower is a bit narrow, clean. Personally I liked the soap provided by the hotel. The only problem - there is no hot water. Showering is very refreshing :) I would appreciate a couple of shelves in the bathroom for the storage of towel and clothes, since many of us were changing in this room (remember, bungalow is shared). Restaurant (size of a bar) is nice, breakfast was also very enjoyable. There is no buffet. We got almost personal attitude at the restaurant, everyone felt very welcome. Vegetarian (simply meat-free) options were available. Coffee was very weak (apparently, Columbia exports its best coffee and you can enjoy a good strong coffee only in dedicated places). If you like your coffee strong, I suggest you bring your own. Hotel has a very nice and well maintained pool to enjoy. Area in a close vicinity of the hotel is nice, hotel staff is maintaining a mini forest next to them. Otherwise hotel is located a bit outskirts the town centre, maybe 15-20 minutes walking distance through muddy streets and (for some) not so pretty neighbourhoods. Of course, there is an option to hire a taxi or a tuk-tuk for a very reasonable price. There is a small store close by where you can buy some fruits, local pastry, water. Note that they often sell water in plastic packets, so bring your own bottle. Packet water also tastes pretty bad, compared to bottled water. Hotel does not provide you with drinking water in rooms. Not so many mosquitoes, but it is a good idea to have a repellent with you.

It has been a great experience! The hotel is located a bit out the noisy city center which I consider as a positive thing. It is calm, peaceful location in the nature since a small forest is just behind the hotel! You hear birds singing in the morning. also its nice to have breakfast surrounded by flowers and plants :) My all activities in Amazon were organized by the hotel and I was very satisfied. Hotel took me to activities and made sure I will have what I need during the tours. They also took me to the town in Brazil nearby to show around. The staff was friendly and helpful. All people there were very attentive. Food was nice. I enjoyed every minute! Muchas gracias por todo, hotel Utuane! :)

The hotel was very confortable, clean, good service. The staff speaks a fluent English and that made easy for us to communicate. If we ever needed any kind of attention they were very willing to help. All we needed were provided

This hotel is great! My girlfriend and I stayed in one of the bungalows with two levels and a hammock. The bungalow was comfortable, spacious, and well-protected from unwanted insects. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was just enough fuel to kick off the day and always had some delicious fruit. The staff was also accommodating to order food for delivery and a tuktuk mototaxi.

I stayed here during a visit to Leticia before heading to Peru via the Amazon. Great place. Clean, comfortable bungalows. Small bathroom but clean and everything in working order. We got up late and they made us breakfast despite having missed the allotted time. The pool was a very nice way to get out of the muggy heat. It's a bit away from the main "downtown" so you would have to take a mototaxi or walk maybe a mile but overall very good.

I totally recommend this place! Since I booked my reservation online from Boston(US) not knowing much of the Amazons area, the people at Hotel Utuane were great. Amanda was really easy to talked to, she always help us to find the best trips and accommodations that best suited my energetic/adventurous boyfriend as well as my 60 year old dad that who also wanted to explored the area. The amazons is a great place to visit, if you love adventure and want to feel like you are in a different world. Leticia is a saved, fun and not expensive place. At Hotel Utuane, we had great help finding travel tips in the Leticia-Peru and Brazil Amazons area.Easy and secure access to taxis, restaurant recommendations that also fitted the different tastes of my dad and my not seafood lover boyfriend. The place was really clean. The malokas give you the feeling of a small place but very private and natural. I totally recommend this place, it is a great value price, it keeps the idea of a natural/eco-friendly environment and the kind service of amazing people. The perfect combination for our first time in Leticia-Colombia. I will definitely go back!

Comfortable hotel with mesh protection to stop insects entering. Friendly, helpful staff. Relaxing environment away from the busy city. Cheap transport in to the city. Breakfast needs some variety as it can get tiring after a few days. Wifi only at reception.

The rooms are 2 stories and screened. There is also a screened veranda section. The screens are vital as the mosquitoes are extremely bad. All the rooms overlook the swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful with fruit, juice, coffee, scrambled eggs and bread. No hot water but you don't really need it. Not in the best part of town and you need to catch a taxi to and from.

Its a couple of blocks away from Leticia´s center so you get a feel of privacy, the pool is nice to hang around, the food includes typical fish ranging from piranhas to pirarucu, i went around the hotels in Leticia, but this one has a vibrant rustic feel that makes you feel like you're deep in the jungle, definitely worth it!

We were lucky to get a room here as it was a spur of the moment choice. Great location. Away from all the hustle and bustle of street activities or parties. Great little hotel with lovely clean rooms supplying enough beds for a max of 6 people. Chalets/Rooms situated around a dining and pool area. Reception and hotel staff all very friendly and helpful. They organise transport or assist with tours. Definitely a place we will return to when visiting again in the fishing season.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool (though it needed cleaning). The service was quite bad, we needed to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper rather than them being brought each day. The food was worse, sometimes inedible. No menu was offered, just options of 'meat, chicken or fish', and there were set dining times so we were often hungry. The staff were all nice, just not that good at their jobs.

This hotel is in the outskirts of Leticia. The pics depict the Hotel very accurately. It is a good middle level option. The service is excellent! The staff makes their best to satisfy your requests, even those out of the agreed service. Very Good!! The fact that it is not in Leticia as such, makes a little uncomfortable to go downtown, to the port, nearby Tabatinga, or other key places in the zone. The taxi service may take sometimes even 30 minutes to arrive in the hotel although the distance to downtown is only 10 minutes away. You can choose to walk (only 20 minute at the most) but it is not advisable under the sun light.

This hotel is amazing ! For my 1st time going to leticia , it made me really feel comfortable ! This hotel has a great service , humble people & the place is just beautiful . There's no a.c. But so what ? You didn't go there to be inside ! You went on vacations for the heat and to experience different things , and that's what I loved the most ! It's just a beautiful place!!! You gotta try it!
