Netter Gastgeber. Sehr gute Lage am Strand und sehr gut vom Bahnhof erreichbar, wenn man den Hintereingang findet, welcher direkt an den Gleisen liegt. Google Maps hat es uns nicht richtig angezeigt und der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht uns zu finden.

Kleine Stellen waren nicht ganz sauber. Pfanne nicht sauber. Kühlschrank mäßig sauber. Im Bad Klopapierhalter mäßig sauber. Hatten sowohl eine große Spinne als auch eine Eidechse in der Unterkunft. Damit muss man auf Sri Lanka wahrscheinlich aber rechnen. :)

Brilliant stay in Hikkaduwa. This place has everything you need and more. The room is very large , with a very large comfortable bed and pillows. There is a kitchenette in the room, which was great to have, electric kettle, a stove and a large fridge ( which was nice for keeping water and beer cold). You are provided with a big wash rack as well. The bathroom is large witb the option for hot water and it has a very good water pressure. The place looks brand new so everything works well. The room has a desk and office chair for those digital nomads, and the WIFI worked great. The owner will go out his way to make your stay comfortable. He is very responsive on booking, answering any questions you have (if you cannot find him on the grounds). On our firsy day, I messaged him and asked for a bucket to wash my swimwear out, a broom and an extra bed cover . Within 5mins he produced everything for me with a big smile on his face. The location is fantastic, you are literally a 5minute walk onto the main street in Hikkaduwa with bars and restaurants, and the beach is right there. We couldnt of asked for more. Great location, 5 minutes maximum from anything. The room itself is huge, even has a fridge and a small kitchen area. Honestly, I’ve stayed in hotels in Sri Lanka and elsewhere the size of the bathroom alone! It felt like an apartment rather than a hotel room! Very impressed with the facilities. Was also given two towels despite being solo, which was a nice touch. Air conditioning works very well. There’s also a lockable storage cupboard available for valuables.

The bed sheet was very small and inadequate.

Very big room, with a small area that includes a fridge and a stove (so you can cook!). Very close to the beach. Next to the railway—although I always use earplugs to sleep, I didn’t find it noisy.

Хорошее местоположение, очень большая комната где есть кухня, приборы, тарелки и газовая плитка со сковородой, электрический чайник, все что нужно для приготовления еды. Есть кондиционер и вентилятор на потолке

Die Lage war gut, etwas abseits von der Straße, was uns viel Ruhe geschenkt hatte. Gleichzeitig waren wir aber in 1-2 Gehminuten am Strand. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und hatte einen wunderschönen Garten. Besonders attraktiv für uns war der exakt gegenüber liegende Strand, an welchem man super schön Schnorcheln konnte, ebenso war unser Tauchcenter (Poseidon) ebenfalls direkt gegenüber von der Straße :)

Der Eigentümer war freundlich konnte jedoch nur gebrochen Englisch.

Schöner großer Raum, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, sogar mit kleiner Küche und Kühlschrank.

Von der Unterkunft ist man in 2min zu Fuss am Strand. Die Lage ist dennoch ruhig, mit Ausnahme der Züge, die zu hören sind - da in Gleis Nähe. Hat mich jedoch nicht gestört. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, mit eigener Küche und allem, was man braucht. Es war sauber. Würde ich wieder buchen! :)

The room is a fantastic size. The shower is hot, the ac and fan work well. Wifi is great. Location is amazing, close to the beach and restaurants. Thankyou for the wonderful stay!

- близко к океану и инфраструктуре - в целом неплохой просторный номер - есть водонагреватель, поэтому всегда была горячая вода

- кровать без балдахина (нет защиты от москитов) - на полу постоянно песок, который нечем вымести - для укрывания предложена рваная простынь - белье не выглядело чистым (особенно подушки), будто на нем уже кто-то спал - хозяин приехал один раз в удобное для него время только, чтобы получить деньги. Больше мы его не видели и он не писал, не интересовался нашим пребыванием

Il s'agit d'une petite guesthouse de 4 Chambres, il n'y a pas de bureau de réception, mais les gentilles voisines s'occupe de vous accueillir. Le bâtiment est très récent et en parfait état, un balcon dessert les 2 chambres de l'étage. Chambre est propre, confortable et bien équipée de réfrigérateur, bouilloire, petite cuisine, climatisation et ventilateur au plafond. la salle d'eau et parfaite avec eau chaude et toilette propre. La voie de chemin de fer passe à 100m mais les trains circulent seulement dans la journée, la nuit il n'y pas pas de bruit du tout. La plage est à seulement 5mn à pied, il faut passer par le petit portail au fond du jardin et traverser le chemin de fer (sans aucun danger) et la route pour être sur une jolie plage. Je recommande vivement cet établissement

Il faudrait ajouter une bouteille d'eau et quelques dosettes de thé ou café, sucre et lait en poudre pour souhaiter la bienvenue aux clients.

Super grande chambre trés propre avec cuisine et frigo .Bon emplacement a 2 mn des restos et 4 mn de la plage en passant par le portillon de la voix férré.

This place was way better than expected-the room was HUGE, the bed large and comfortable, the ac crisp and the wifi fast. The owners are very kind also! Would definitely stay here again and can’t recommend it enough!

Awesome location 2 min walk from beach and main street. New room which was clean and nice, basic little kitchen was bonus. Large room, many chairs and desk were appreciated. Definitely recommend.

No comforter on beds just thin sheet which we are not a fan of. Would be a perfect stay with better bedding. Place a few doors down played very loud music until late however not the fault of hosts obviously but we did need earplugs a couple nights

Great location, close to the bus station, but also to the beach. But still quiet with no city rush. The room was very spacious, bed was comfortable, enough place for your stuff. The room includes also small kitchen where you can cook or prepare a tea. Bathroom was also big and clean.

Perfect quiet location surrounded by jungle and birds. Very close to the beach. The family is very lovely and friendly. The apartment has everything we needed! Little kitchen was a plus! We loved it!!! We will come back for sure!

A bit tricky to get there in the first time. Fridge a bit smelly.

We arrived and the outside area is not pleasant, there is construction ongoing but other than this it still isn’t great. Inside there is a strong smell of damp and mould. The towels and bedding felt slightly damp.

Wide room in a beautiful setup. Loved also the fridge and the simple cooking equipment, very convenient. Everything was very clean and the woman running the place was very friendly. If you ever pass by Hikkaduwa this is your place, dont hesitate. Thank you :)

This guesthouse is wonderful! Ideal for longer stays you have everything you need including a fridge, microwave and kettle. It’s in a great location, a short walk to the beach but far enough away it is very peaceful. The garden is lovely and the family very welcoming. Highly recommend!

It would be nice to have a mosquito net I think!

the place was great, 5 minutes walk from the beach and the centre, the room is very big with mini kitchen, hairdryer and clothes iron, big shower and mosquitoes has been cleared away. the hosts are so nice and made sure we have everything we need. bathroom is big and everything feels new and clean. very recommended!!!!!

The size of the room was extra large, as was the bed, everything was clean and neat, it looked brand new. The kitchenette was fantastic, it had a hob and kettle and everything that you would need, all clean and good quality. There's an excellent guard dog, the surroundings are nice and peaceful and there's a seating area outside. The family are nice and the owner is very nice and happy to help, I stayed an extra night. Also, it's close to some good bars, Gamaa's Place is good for watching football and a bit of music and nice rotti's.

No mosquito net on the bed, there weren't that many about because its a clean place, but there were a couple, so it would have been nice to have the option.
