Lakeside Loughrea

Well set up, comfortable beds. Lots of information about the town and area as well as places to eat. Next to the lake, lovely garden setting. Very safe location next to a Garda station.

The situation of Lakeside is great Ursula made us feel welcome from when we arrived.Off Street parking was much appreciated as the town is very busy. Recommendations were much appreciated as well lovely place to spend a few days on our travels around Ireland.

The location was excellent. The car parking area was right beside the local Garda station and so felt extremely safe. The garden area outside the rooms was on the lake with beautiful planting. Rooms were fresh and clean and well stocked with tea and coffee.

There was nothing, in my experience, to dislike.

De rust en privacy.

Het kabaal van het apparaat tijdens douchen. Zo douch je niet ontspannen. En je hoort het ook van de andere appartementen.. Jammer dat je niets kon warm maken om te eten. Stond wel een oven/ magnetron maar ben daar niet handig mee.

Fantastic location, good safe parking, nice garden/sitting area and pubs, cafes and shops close by.

Good central location. Apartment was very clean and had all the facilities needed as our base for the few days (including fresh milk in the fridge on arrival - which was a nice touch)

The location, ease of access, having a parking space , comfortable bed and lovely shower.

Check out at 11am is a bit early - would prefer check in at 3pm and out at 12 noon.

We totally enjoyed our dog friendly short stop over at Lakeside, wonderful accommodation, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The pretty bungalows lead to gardens in a great location with beautiful lake views. A great place to stay.

There was nothing we didn't like. Exceeded our expectations.

Great accommodation, cleanest I've stayed in and looks newly renovated, good value for money too, but best of all lake is at the end of garden when you come out door. Ursula met us very welcoming and lots provided like milk tea etc. We definitely go back oh and cat very friendly!

La struttura forniva già in modo chiaro tutte le informazioni grazie a istruzioni complete trovate in camera, ma abbiamo volentieri scambiato due parole con la proprietaria molto simpatica e disponibile. La struttura fornisce anche lavello cucina, microonde e frigorifero.

Schnuckeliges Zimmer, ruhig gelegen, sehr unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit der lieben Ursula. Wir sind zu Fuß durch die kleinen Straßen gelaufen und haben abends lecker gegessen. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir in der Bäckerei gut gefrühstückt. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Wasser und man hat eine tolle Aussicht aus dem Garten heraus.

Alles war in Ordnung.

The lodges were very clean and comfortable and so central.

Het huisje staat op een mooie locatie. Kamer en bad waren prima. Alles was aanwezig. Pub en restaurant in de buurt wat erg fijn was. Prima locatie voor een doorreis. Minpuntje was dat de gastvrouw zich niet liet zien. We kregen geen uitleg over het gebruik van de douche en elec apparaten.. de klimop bij de voordeur groeide naar binnen en zat vol luis. Dat vonden wij erg smerig.

Great location in the centre of town and right by the lake. The garden area had table and chairs which allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather in July (a rare event in Loughrea). The room was compact and very clean. Thanks to Ursula for being a great host.

Beautiful accommodation. Great location. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside for our morning coffee enjoying the morning sun and view of the lake. Bed was comfortable and was a great wee kitchenette in the unit.

Sehr schnuckeliges Appartement - der See gleich um die Ecke. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Gute Kommunikation. Kostenloser Parkplatz vorhanden. In Laufnähe guter Pub - angenehme Stadt. Würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!!

The Location was truely gorgeous and soo quite.

Ursula, the owner and manager, was super. She was very helpful with our questions. We stayed there last year also. We will stay there again when we are back in the area.

Fantastic location close to all amenities. The lodge was excellent, clean and everything we needed for the night.

We only had the room for the night but it was well located for us to walk to anywhere we wanted during our stay. The room was tidy and bed was comfortable

No front door key originally provided but provided on request i feel like each guest should automatically get a front door key for security . Pillows where very uncomfortable

The little extras. Big fluffy towels, a jar of teabags, real milk, a little fridge, a kitchenette with a sink. It was very comfortable for our 1 night stay. Great value for money.

Great wee spot ive been here 3 times and its always perfect.

The garden was beautiful with access to the lake. Fresh milk was provided in the fridge. The local history books were great.

The location is fabulous at the edge of the lake and so quiet. And yet you are central to the town. Beautiful place.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's literally right on the lake and the setting is incredibly peaceful. Ursula was a great communicator and the room was clean and well appointed. The best review I can give it is to say that if I am back in that area, I wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

Just a short drive from Galway without the big city hassles. The cottage was close enough to walk to pubs, shops and restaurants. Ursula was helpful and left interesting literature as well as tips to enjoy the local area. We enjoyed some live music at An Sibin and a delicious dinner at Maggie May's. Don't miss a visit to the beautiful cathedral.

Perfect place right on the lake . Easy to find , great parking , close to shops pubs and everything you could need but most importantly SO QUIET ! Sat by the lake with a cuppa before bed … absolutely perfect! . Comfy bed and clean room with nice little shower room. Ursula was great when we contacted her about arrival time etc . Would recommend highly .

Our stay at the apartment was great experience. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—it had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Another advantage was the excellent location, which meant everything was close by. The excellent value for money was a huge plus. Everything met, and even exceeded, my expectations.
