Lovely room great food in the pub. Very friendly staff.
Nothing
Everything was top notch 10/10. Would book again.
Didn't find anything that made the place unsatisfactory.
Comfortable room, very nice staff
Noisy
We didn’t use the breakfast area, location was fine
Ear plugs would have been good, yes we understand sleeping above a lively bar isn’t ideal, but the music was good so we didn’t mind that so much, it was our neighbors in room 5 having a blazing argument, smashing glass against our bed head wall, the male trying to kick doors in, they continued this until 4am. We thought the female in the room was in danger and called down to the bar to report the room been smashed and the crazy drunk man slamming doors, trying to kick doors in, smashing glass , throwing things across the room and been all round extremely aggressive. We got a call back 20mins later. The owner said if he went up to room 5 he might make the situation worse so it was best to leave it. The couple continued to scream and thump walls/doors until 4am. My husband got dressed and lay on the bed nearest the door in case the male from room 5 went to kick our door in by mistake, we honestly didn’t feel safe and were very close to ringing the garda
La amabilidad del personal y la comida del pub era excelente
Nos toco una habitación ubicada al lado de unos extractores que hacian un poco de ruido
Convent & value for money
Mancavano sapone e shampoo in bagno
The location was great
The keys barely work in the doors. The mattresses are poor and there’s no kettle in the rooms.
We really enjoyed our break away. The facilities were excellent. The staff were excellent And the food was delicious
Staff
Breakfast
Location, Room lovely and food good
New carpets would be a real benefit
Location. 35 mintues away from Galway which was perfect for us. Right next to a beautiful lake. Many places to eat. Staff. They were so friendly and informative. We had an issue, they were quick to fix it. Pub. Super tasty food. A bit pricey but that seems to be the norm for pubs in Ireland. Room. Super big. A lot of storage. Very clean.
The lock to the entrance of our hallway was a nightmare to open!!! First night, we needed help from staff. The second and third night, another person (a gentlemen) staying heard us struggling and opened the door for us. It seemed to be a contuined issue with others as well ): Windows. No screens so there were flying bugs and one night a huge spider! Stairs. Depending on where your room is, we had to carry up and down checked-in bags. The staff did help us bring them up, though.
Very friendly, helpful staff Central location Room spacious...and very quiet, despite closeness to pub Good value
The key to the front door is difficult to open...takes alot of jigging around No soap in bathroom
Le personnel, le prix, l'équipement de la chambre
La cuisine qui est bien équipée et propre. Bon rapport qualité-prix
Le voisin de chambre assez bruyant...
Without a doubt the best place in this the women who worked in the bar, they were so so friendly, witty, helpful and generally nice people.
Nothing, loved it
Excellent location in middle of town we had a large en-suite room in a house adjoining the pub. Breakfast facilities were in a separate house with cereals, bread , croissants available along with breakfast juices and fruit.
We had the penthouse rooms which were 3 flights up-not for everyone I suppose.
Proximity to the pub and lake area. Was clean.
Toilet handle was broken off and wasting water. Had to try to fix it myself. Only ONE ELECTRIC OUTLET for entire bedroom and bathroom! My friend couldn't charge phone near her bed or have a lamp! Loud compressor running all night outside window. Ugly alley views.
Was there for the nyt last nyt and was a good nyt and was so central and food was excellent
Convenient for a short visit to Loughrea especially if you are looking for just a bed for the night.
Shower didnt heat up at all.
Everything was top notch.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
Personale disponibile, pulizia, posizione.
Great staff and food
Noisy room bedroom directly over large gas boiler which kicked in every 15 minutes all through the night. They provided ear plugs but they were almost useless. Worst nights sleep the entire week
Staff was great , room was beautiful , everyone very helpful
Can't stay anything was faulted everything was perfect
Handy location
There was karaoke until 12.30
Despite previous reviews, pleasantly surprised that there was no noise from the Karaoke in the bar below - room was at front of building. Self service basic breakfast was a nice bonus.
No property parking but paid parking is on road outside (free from 6pm to 9am)
Very clean and centrally located. Access to kitchen 24/7 to make a cup of tea.
Staff and food were great and the room was clean.
Room was very basic. Bed wasn't comfortable at all. Sockets were awkwardly behind the beds. Room was just above the bar and music was playing, but we had been warned about that lol. All and all, it was ok for the price.
Staff are very accommodating and friendly. It's a good place to stay in Loughrea. My friends and I always stay here whenever we visit Loughrea over the past 3 years.
I have nothing bad to say about The Auld Triangle.
Staff were friendly and bubbly and the bar was comfortable
Arrived at 7.40 not knowing that food stopped service at 8pm so had to make other arrangements. Beds were very firm and for me personally it was quite uncomfortable
Location and value for money
Heater was on all night in the bathroom and the room was already too warm
Location and staff
En-suite very small
Location was great, nice lovely and room clean and had everything we needed for a 2night trip
Was a bit small but for 2 nights definitely doable
Location mainly, and easy access to your room.
Rooms are very dated, with very basic everything.
Very clean, warm and cosy room. Good TV choices. Staff very friendly and helpful. To be able to use the self catering kitchen next door. Central location.
Parking was difficult with the heavy bank holiday traffic. Would have preferred to be able to make a drink in the room.
Food and the room was good
Loud music at early hours of the morning when i had 2 leave at 5am
Very, very reasonably priced. Staff spot on. Spotless and welcoming
It was perfect for the price
Clean and comfortable. Close to town center
Old fashioned, tight spaced , outdated
I loved how clean the rooms were and a complementary breakfast
I loved how the restaurant downstairs was so close and I love how you guys still use keys
Went the for a concert in laughters and had a great time
The breakfast was a little boring
The food was good had a meal when I arrived No breakfast available though For a short stay In the area it was clean safe and reasonable for a three star it served me well!
No breakfast
The location was excellent, near all amenities. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The food in the bar was delicious. We had a great room, ideal for a one night stay. The kitchenette was well stocked for breakfast. The beds were so comfy ensured a good nights rest.
A bigger tv would be nice. My friend found it very noisy after 11pm even with the earplugs. That is it.
Very clean room and kitchen.
Very noisy at night, bed uncomfortable, breakfast facilities very limited. Walls very thin.
Location was excellent in the middle of the town, rooms are over the bar, bar does excellent food, staff are very friendly, entrance is a separate to the bar, room had double and single bed, very warm on a cold night, shower in bathroom and place spotless. Really enjoyed my stay and would return again
They were ear pods left on the bed so perhaps it can be noisy on busy nights in the pub below but as I was at a xmas party the pub was closed when I got back so the ear pods were not required.
Comfy bed hot water
Noise from the bar
Good continental breakfast
NA
Lovely atmosphere food was nice 😋 I know why they gave us earplugs vibration from music. Also I was tracing my grandad that lived in loughrea n born in workhouse ,it was very near all the places he was sadly never got the information I wanted but will stay here again if I come back.
Went to bed early, and just the vibration from music 🎶.
Not used.
The drums and bass of the country group below in the bar that played until 12.30am.
No tea making facilities in rooms
Room was clean and comfortable. We had a room that was more like an apartment, with its own kitchen. The check in was easy and the staff were good. Had a meal in the Auld Triangle which was very good.
only some other inconsiderate guests returning at 2:30am and being very noisy directly above our room.
The room was beautifully clean and spacious. There was no noise from the pub - rooms were right next door.
Felt a bit exposed using the bathroom with a ground floor window, frosted glass, looking out to a lane behind the hotel. Would have been more comfortable having blinds I could close so left the light off when showering.
Good location Friendly staf Very good place
Lack of shelves and coat rack
pantry
live music till midnight
Location
Very noisy, with thin walls between rooms and people slamming doors.
Food and staff top marks
Rooms a bit dated but comfortable
Location - we were visiting family in Bullaun and it was close by -
The noise from the bar & lounge - Had I known before I booked I wouldn’t have stayed there - got a surprise when I saw ear plugs supplied in our room - no addition as the music & noise was very very loud - it was after 2am before I managed to get some sleep -
