Lovely house! Beautifuly decorated home and a lovely warm room. Delores was a lovely hostess, made us feel welcome and gave us lots of good information about the town.

Very little space for luggage in the room. Rather difficult parking; a small lot right off the road.

Convenient for our travel . Good restaurant recommendation from the host. Host was very nice. Room was clean but cramped.

Didn't realise we were just booking a couple of bedrooms in the hosts house, family photos on all the walls etc. which made it feel like we were imposing rather than paying guests. No common space we could use outside the bedroom. Shower was uncontrollable, room setup was not conducive to having easy access to bags and being able to move around the room at the same time. Wasnt obvious that there was a kettle and cups etc. till the host explained they were in the bottom of the wardrobe and even then the only place to put the kettle was a tiny table at the end of the bed that was barely a foot off the ground.

Die Ferienwohnung war ausreichend geräumig und wir sind freundlich von der Vermieterin Dolores empfangen worden. Nach unserer Ankunft hatten wir ein Anliegen und sie hat Abhilfe geschaffen. Die Lage an einem See hat mir gut gefallen. Dolores hat sich trotz Sprachbarriere sehr bemüht und uns mit deutscher Übersetzung über das Erscheinen eines Malers informiert. Danke Dolores für die angenehme Zeit.

Great hospitality by Delores who was welcoming and advised clear instructions on access and facilities available. She had an incredible insight on what to see in the region and all of the local Restaurant's locations and how to get there. The room had a roof skylight which was quite unique. She also did some washing for me, organised a Taxi and helped me locate a watch I misplaced. I would highly recommend The Bearstone House Loughrea!

Dirty watermarks on the tiles in the bathroom. The door to the en suite opens half way before it hits the bed. Worn towels I was told to take off my sandals in future as I walked up the already stained stairs. Asked what time I would be leaving as the cars all blocking each other in the driveway. No breakfast available at the property No breakfast in the local town before 7am

Perfect central location for anyone looking for a stay in the town of loughrea or the surrounding area, it’s walkable to all of the restaurants and shops in town. The host, Dolores is a trustworthy, wonderful human being who just so happens to host this rental! She made me welcome throughout my stay and offered many ideas for local attractions and places to eat. The facilities are all spotless clean and it’s a much more home like feeling than staying in a hotel. The price of the stay was very reasonable and worth every penny. I’m looking forward to my next stay at the bearstone House when time allows me to get back to Ireland! Thanks a million!

The springs in the mattress were dreadful. Tea + coffee making facilities, na, there was a kettle and 2 teabags, no sugar or milk or place to even keep it for 5 days

The place was newly refurbished and spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the host was very friendly. It's nice and warm as she lives downstairs and the rental rooms upstairs are in a family home. She also accommodated an early check-in and she gave us some great recommendations for places to visit.

The towels provided were only small and medium, with no large bath sheets available for the shower. Additionally, there was no access to a fridge or microwave, making it difficult to heat up food at night, which resulted in us having to discard our takeaway. Although the host kindly stored it in her kitchen, that area was not shared. Furthermore, there were no tea bags or cups provided.

The host is very nice and the room was cosy and clean. We could park the car in front of the house.

Dolores was so kind and welcoming, we arrived on a motorbike which we were able to park on the drive. Conditions were very wet and Dolores did a great job insisting on drying our kit before the morning departure. Rooms were comfortable and of a good size, very clean with a good shower. Located less than a ten minute walk from shops and pubs was also ideal.

The house is convenient to town and the lake making it easy to enjoy both. The rooms are private and secure. Our host was a lovely conversationist that truly hates about her guests.

The bed. It slept very well. And the lady of the house was very very nice and helpful. The place is quite and the lake is at the corner to take a lovely walk.

This is such a lovely, cosy, warm home. Spotless. The host was the best! So warm and welcoming and has a huge knowledge of the local area and is a keen walker so has lots of tips. My room was so warm and I had a really comfortable night of sleep. The breakfast was fabulous. Such a variety of lovely, healthy, choices 😁. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely place so central in the town and yet tucked away and peaceful and quiet.

The host was really lovely and very helpful with local info..best value for dining out, for traditional live music, for things to see and do. Attention to detail was exceptional and welcoming. Loved it the second we stepped into the accommodation. Loved Dolores too.

No kettle for coffee

Bearstone House is in the centre of Loughrea. We stayed here the night of a wedding. A few minutes drive to Loughrea Hotel and Spa. The BnB is walking distance to the main street in town. There is no breakfast included. The room was comfortable and clean. The host was very friendly and laid back. There is free parking. We enjoyed our stay here.

What a fantastic place to stay when visiting Loughrea and Galway is only 30 minutes away. The location is fantastic and Dolores is extremely helpful and knowledgeable with great tips for sight seeing in the local area. I cannot recommend this property enough and would definitely stay there again.

A reasonable price place to stay. The bedroom was comfortable and it was impeccably clean. The host was super helpful, warm, welcoming and friendly,. The house was on par with the theme with lots of adorable little bears to find. I would stay at the Bearstone house again and suggest it to others.

The property is close to the town centre. The beds are comfortable. The host is welcoming and friendly.

Address and directions on Booking.com not sufficient to find property. Directions on Booking.com point to the wrong road. Hairdryer provided, but no electricity point near any mirror. Parking not well organised as my vehicle was parked in by other guests. Host did not respond quick enough to messages/calls to get car removed.
