La vaste chambre est vaste, magnifiquement aménagée et propose tous les équipements possibles. J'ai aussi apprécié le radiateur que l'on peut régler soi-même. Les extérieurs proposent une vue à couper le souffle sur Valentia Island. Un très bel hébergement, c'est ce qu'on aimerait trouver à chaque étape 😍

Heel sober ontbijt, wij (als koppel) verbleven 2 nachten waarbij het service niet werd opgeruimd of werd afgewassen (op de kamer is er geen mogelijkheid om een afwasje te doen, tenzij in de badkamer maar dat zou niet hygiënisch zijn).

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Ruime kamer, goed bed en douche. Het is zonder ontbijt, maar je krijgt een yoghurtje en melk met cereals. Er staat een koelkast. Er is een waterkoker en een broodrooster op de kamer.
Wij sliepen beneden. De kamer boven ons gaf wel wat geluid als de gasten daar rondliepen.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Most folks who stay here have also booked a boat tour because it's an excellent location for a harbor launch in Portmagee. Check out the Skellig Michael tours for such an adventure! The two rooms upstairs are the best rooms in the house. HUGE spacious rooms with king-sized bed, recently remodeled with a gorgeous view of grazing cattle and harbor in the distance. Don't pass up the nearby Kerry Cliffs! These might be more impressive than the Cliffs of Moher.
Lacks hooks/shelves/tables for putting your stuff.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Forse il nostro alloggio preferito dell'intera vacanza in Irlanda! È stato veramente un piacere, l'host ci ha accolto calorosamente ed è stata super disponibile, la stanza (al piano terra) era molto ampia e pulita, con un letto comodo, la tv, una buonissima wifi, asciugamani e campioncini, poltrone, e un graditissimo angolo colazione con cereali di due tipi, bollitore con tè e caffè, tostapane e latte fresco e due yogurt in frigo (ci ha risolto la colazione, davvero! Abbiamo mangiato volentieri sul tavolino in camera senza dover uscire a cercare qualcosa, anche se a Portmagee ho visto un paio di cafe). Zona tranquilla e silenziosa, ampio parcheggio appena fuori dalla struttura, in 10 minuti a piedi si arriva "in centro" (non c'è molto ma per la sera ci sono due ristoranti ottimi e dal porto partono i tour per Skellig Michael). Il tramonto è speciale in questa zona. Consiglio vivamente se passate da Valencia Island!

We appreciated the yoghurt in the fridge and the breakfast cereal in the room as it meant we could head out early in the morning for our Skellig Michael trip.

The bed was comfortable and everything in the room was so clean. There was tea, coffee, and cereals for a quick breakfast before we left for our Skellig boat ride.
As others have mentioned, the walls are quite thin so sound travels easily. We were on the upper floor and tried to be very careful with noise, especially as we left early in the morning. If we were on a bottom floor it may have been noisy.

Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Kaffee- und Teezubehörien sowie gutes Müsli (obwohl ohne Frühstück gebucht) haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem Vergnügen gemacht. Vielen Dank!
Super schlechte Schallisolierung. Am ersten Abend waren mehrere Familien mit Kindern zu Gast und es gab immenses Geschrei, Getrampele und Türengeknalle (wegen der Hellhörigkeit). Das hat mich so gestresst, dass ich einen Punkt abziehe.

La struttura è accogliente con camere molto spaziose e fresche.La proprietaria fornisce latte e cereali per una colazione in autonomia da consumare in camera. Questa è una delle strutture che ho amato di più nei miei 10 giorni in questa bellissima Isola!

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026The small breakfast (cereal, yoghurt) provided were greatly appreciated as we had an early departure for Skellig Michael. The host explained the food options in Portmagee upon arrival. Room was very spacious.
One minor remark: the cobwebs at the windows could be removed, so all windows could be opened with a peace of mind during this heatwave ;-). With usual Irish weather this probably never comes up!

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Die Unterkunft liegt an wunderschöner Lage etwas ausserhalb von Portmagee. Das Ortszentrum ist in ca. 10-15 Minuten fussläufig erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind einfach und funktional eingerichtet und sauber. Ein grosser Parkplatz steht zur Verfügung.
Die Zimmer sind ziemlich ringhörig.

Am Morgen ist ständig jemand die Stiegen im Haus auf und ab getrampelt als würde man das mit Absicht besonders laut machen. Es war extrem laut als würde man wollen, dass wir aufwachen und auschecken. Das war nicht so nett, aber ich weiß nicht ob das Bewusst war oder nicht ansonsten war es sehr angenehm. Es kann aber sehr kalt werden in der Unterkunft da die Fenster nicht mehr ganz abdichten.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Meravigliosa guesthouse a pochi passi dal villaggio di pescatori di Portmagee, situato in una posizione idilliaca affacciato all'Oceano Atlantico e con vista sul tramonto. La nostra camera era molto ampia, arredamente in maniera particolarmente moderna. Anche il bagno era grande e funzionale. La finestra affacciava sul mare e quindi abbiamo potuto godere di una bellissima vista. All'interno dell'appartamento c'era un frigo in cui ci hanno lasciato gli yogurt per la colazione, insieme ai cereali, latte, zucchero e caffè. Il parcheggio è privato, gratuito e sempre disponibile. Lo scenario che circonda questo luogo è davvero magico, silenzioso e infonde una grandissima pace.
