Monica ist eine ganz wunderbare Gastgeberin und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Von dort kann man super den Ring of kerry erkunden, die Kerry cliffs besuchen und Wanderungen unternehmen. Im fußläufig erreichbaren Ort portmagee gibt es Restaurants, sodass man abends auch mal einen Whisky trinken kann:) Zudem war der Kühlschrank mit diversen Sachen gefüllt, sodass wir uns um Frühstück keine Gedanken machen mussten.

The room was spotless and finished to a high standard. The host welcomed us, was so friendly and told us what we could do in the area, and she thanked us for staying as we were leaving. Even though it's just a room she had breakfast bits for us in the fridge which is so considerate. The bed was so comfortable, always hot water for the bath and the view from the window was stunning.

Beautiful room with a great view. The hostess had a mini frig with water, milk, bread butter and some fruit. Coffee maker, hot water pot and toaster. If I ever came back I would stay again.

Hard to find an electrical plug and I had to move the bedside table out.

This booking exceeded my expectations by far. From the service to the room I can’t tell you what a wonderful stay this was. We stayed in 7 different places during our time in Ireland and this was top of the list. Kind and attentive host, clean room, beautiful furnishings. It exceeded our expectations and with a beautiful view. We stayed here for the the Skellig Michael Lansing tour. Gear location. 5 minutes from the pier.

Fantastically clean, really good facilities and idillic views

Bath instead of shower. I love a bath but just on that day I was in a rush and would have preferred the convenience of a shower.

Nice view over the city of Portmagee and Skellig. Room was gorgeous, really stylish and beautiful, it was definitely a “luxury” stay. It was helpful that light meals were ready in the fridge and a toaster etc. But the best part of it was Monica, who was so nice and kind, prepared everything for us leaving nothing to be desired.

Wir hatten einen ganz herzlichen Empfang durch Monica und ein sehr schönes Zimmer, auch die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war gut. Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und ruhig aber zentral gelegen mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Monica ist eine wunderbare herzliche Gastgeberin. Vielen Dank

Monica was lovely and welcoming and even did some laundry for us as we were running out of clothes. Great experience and very good value. Even though it was room-only she left us some food in the room, so we had toast and fruit and some bits for breakfast. An above and beyond experience

Struttura moderna, tutto curato nel minimo dettaglio !

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par l'hôte, qui s'est rendue disponible pendant tout notre séjour. La chambre était encore mieux que les photos. Nous avions à notre disposition un petit frigo avec des en-cas qui nous étaient réservés et petit équipement (théière, grille-pain...). Nous avons pu diner sur place près du port dans un bon restaurant recommandée par notre hôte qui a pris soin de réserver pour nous. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce logement si vous passez par cet endroit.

La lumière bleue sûrement provenant du relai wifi qui éclairait beaucoup la chambre mais sinon tout était vraiment parfait !

Ein super Ausgangspunkt für Touren nach Skellig Michael, der Hafen ist praktisch Fußläufig zu erreichen. Monica hat uns sehr nett empfangen. Im Kühlschrank hat sie uns einiges zum Frühstücken bereit gestellt. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war übrigens sehr modern und das Badezimmer ziemlich großzügig. Leider haben wir es nicht mehr geschafft, Valentina Island näher zu erkunden. Wir müssen also wieder kommen. Gerne auch wieder hier.

La habitación espectacular y la propietaria muy atenta y simpática. Llegamos y nos recibió, nos dió indicaciones para ir a cenar y a ver la puesta de sol. Además se ofreció a ayudarnos con todo.

J'ai été merveilleusement accueilli. Mon hôte est compréhensive, réactive dans sa communication par message et a cherché à me mettre dans les meilleures conditions, avec de super conseils (où manger, que faire comme visites). De plus elle m'a très gentiment aidé pour des démarches suite a un accident. Juste adorable. La chambre est impeccable, neuve, propre avec des matériaux et des finitions de grande qualité. Un petit frigo avec quelques produits a disposition pour le petit déjeuner. Une étape inoubliable pour moi.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special. The accomodation was clean, tasteful, comfy and cosy. The sheets and towels were fabulous and Monica had furnished the fridge with breakfast provisions and snacks despite the booking advertised as “room only”.

Super clean & new, beautifully-decorated, very thoughtful owner! Monica greeted me, showed me around and gave recommendations for the area. She also checked in with me the next day and was always just a message away. She had also stocked the fridge with breakfast items, water and snacks. What a wonderful welcome! Toiletries, extra towels, and even an adapter were available in the room. The location is fantastic as it is just next to the Skellig Centre and in walking distance to Portmagee. Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Sie hatte Lebensmittel im Kuhlschrank für mich und fuhr mich zum Bushaltestellen. Möbel, Bettwäsche, Geschirr usw sehr schön und sauber!

Host is super friendly and caring. She gave us sightseeing tips for the area. The beds were super comfortable. It has everything you need for breakfast (cutlery, plates, bowls, water boiler, toaster and fridge).

Tout a été vraiment parfait ! Monica nous a très bien accueilli, le logement est vraiment propre et très confortable, on se sent comme à la maison avec de jolies attentions, nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit mais nous aurions adoré rester plus longtemps ! Merci encore pour tout, nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de notre passage !

The host was adorable! So helpful and kind, a real gem! The apartment is very nice with a great view out to Portmagee, it feels cozy but modern at the same time. The host filled the little fridge and cabinet with treats and drinks so you'll be set for breakfast and midnight snacks. We loved it.

Nothing really. The only thing, when showering the water goes everywhere since there is no door but with the vent on it dries pretty quickly.

The room was very clean, Monica was lovely and left food and drinks in the room. Great location. Shower and bathroom was perfect. Quiet area so no problem with noise. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

We had an inner mountain view room so there was no window. The room got stuffy in the heat overnight.

Neues Haus mit Gästezimmern. Im Kühlschrank fanden wir alles, was es für einen guten Start brauchten (sogar Müsli, Cornflakes, Eier und Milch). Es ist alles sauber. Monica ist eine super freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Die Lage ist für alle, die einen Tag auf Skellig Michael gebucht haben, großartig. Der Gang über die Brücke nach Portmagee ist kurz. Dort kann man einkaufen und Essen gehen!

Stunning location and scenery. Modern facilities with everything needed for our stay. Our host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, including contacting a local taxi company. Be sure to visit the Royal Hotel for good food and drink.

We were received by a warm welcome by the most gracious and generous host. Our rooms were beautiful and so well maintained, so clean and thought was put into making us comfortable. We received fresh farm milk, top of the art coffee, and a small breakfast generously given. The views are beautiful and the stay was superb!

Nice room with lovely view! Monica was very kind, easy to communicate with and gave us great recommendations for where to eat and what to see in the area after our boat trip to the Skelligs was cancelled. We also loved the nifty coffee maker and breakfast treats provided in our room. Highly recommend!

An einem wunderschönen Sommertag haben wir in dieser Unterkunft übernachtet. Haben die Abendsonne im Zimmer genossen und auch das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen mit Ausblick auf Portmagee. Vielen lieben Dank Monica, es war die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Irlandreise. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen! Es gibt ein gutes Fischrestaurant im Ort und ein gutes Pub!

Very comfortable and completely self contained, great peaceful location on Valencia Island a short distance from the Skellig Experience and the bridge from Portmagee. Monica was a perfect host, nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We would definitely use Watermark accommodation again.

Monica, de eigenaresse is super gastvrij. We kwamen zondag aan en had vooraf gevraagd of er ergens in de buurt een supermarkt open was. Geen zorgen, ik zet gewoon een ontbijtje klaar in de koelkast was haar antwoord! Waar maak je dat nog mee… Het uitzicht is zo mooi, net een schilderij. De foto’s op de site doen gewoon afbreuk aan de werkelijkheid. Voor een ieder die overweegt dit te boeken, niet twijfelen, gewoon doen!

Het douchen in bad is misschien niet praktisch voor mensen die wat ouder zijn.

Beste Unterkunft in der ich bisher war! Tolle Location mit besonderer Aussicht. Super nette Besitzerin. Sehr bequemes und großes Bett und alles sehr sauber.

Great location, fantastic view, and Monica is so very nice. She came out to great me upon arrival which was much appreciated after a long drive, especially because I came in late but she wanted to ensure I knew how to close the storm door. She had also placed treats in the fridge and small pantry.

There is nothing I could say I didn’t like.

The host was amazing - newer suites, well outfitted - excellent bed and shower. Coffee and a few snacks were appreciated. Quick walk across the bridge to town for dinner. The 2 corner suites had great windows.

We had an inner suite which has no windows, so it got a bit stuffy overnight.
