Zhangjiajie one step to heaven inn (Yangjiajie ticket office)

Amazing stay, Carol and her family were so kind and took great care of us. They helped arrange taxis to and from the train station, planed our route through Zhangjiajie, and recommend other activities we could do.

La ubicación y Carol, la dueña, son estupendas!!! Carol mos ayudó con absolutamente todo durante nuestra estancia (nos sacó los tickets del larque, organizó recorrido, transfer, comida etc), habla perfecto inglés. Sin duda muy muy recomendable. Al encontrarse a apenas 5-10 min andando de la puerta oeste iniciar el recorrido desde ahi (en la dirección contraria a la mayoria de visitantes) agiliza mucho el recorrido, menos masificado y sin colas!!

Le personnel extra, prêt à aider si besoin et parle anglais ! La rando sur mesure à rebours des foules c’était top, l’emplacement de l’hôtel pour entrer dans le parc à 5m à pied aussi. Pour la chambre, la propreté était niquel. Le resto de l’hôtel était délicieux et hyper pratique après une grosse journée de rando!

Это самое потрясающее место для отдыха и осмотра достопримечательностей! Хозяйка отеля Кэрол отлично говорит на английском, она спланировала нас все посещения, парки, забронировала билеты и всегда была на связи. Есть можно прямо в отеле, так как деревушка не особо оживленная и поблизости нет кафе, только пара мини-маркетов. Номер уютный, сам отель - семейный, тихий, народу было очень мало. Рядом западные ворота в парк. Обязательно хочется вернуться туда за этой душевной атмосферой♥️

The staff, the food and Carol helped me a lot even before I arrive, the location is great you can walk some minutes to Zhangjiaje national park.

Very nice rooms, located just 5 minutes from the ticket office!! Also a very nice restaurant attached with reasonable prices and big portions. The owner is super helpful, gave us so much information about the best routes and timings for seeing the park optimally. Since the hotel is located in yangjiajie rather than Wulingyuan (where most people stay) or Zhangjiajie city, you traverse the opposite way across the park each day than the majority of tourists meaning the queues are much shorter and you can fit more in! So definitely better to stay on this side.

La posizione ottima. 5 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso est del parco nazionale. La cucina davvero ottima. Cucinato tutto al momento. A conduzione familiare, tutti molto gentili e disponibili soprattutto Carol che parla anche un ottimo inglese e ci ha organizzato alla perfezione tutto ciò che dovevamo fare e tutti gli spostamenti.

Il bagno. La doccia è senza box, quindi quando ci si lava si allaga tutto l'intero bagno. Continuare ad utilizzarlo dopo la doccia è davvero complicato oltre che poco igienico.

We enjoyed our 3-day stay at the property. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. More importantly, Carol, our host has been most helpful to ensure our daily itinerary was well taken care of.

We were on the 3rd floor but the staff assisted with bringing up/down our luggage. The property is somewhat remote but very close to the West gate of the National Forest Park. Paid breakfast & dinner are available at the hotel which we enjoyed.

Super pobyt, wspaniała rodzinna atmosfera, bardzo dobre jedzenie i oczywiście cudowna Carol, która pomogła nam w organizacji całej wyprawy do parku Zhangjiajie oraz udzieliła cennych wskazówek w dalszej wyprawie po Chinach (rezerwacja biletów wstępu, zamawianie taksówek, pomoc w kupnie biletów na pociąg).

Estaba en un lugar alejado del centro, por lo que era super tranquilo. A su vez queda a 5 minutos caminando de una de las entradas del parque nacional. La cama super comoda y el cuarto limpio. El restaurant riquisimo, comida casera y a buen precio. Lo mejor fue la buena onda de Carol que nos buscó por la estacion, nos armó el itinerario para visitar los parques, sacó las entradas y nos ayudó en todo. Habla muy bien ingles. Una genia

Super hôtel et supers hôtes. Tout le monde est au petit soin pour qu'on profite pleinement du parc ! L'hôtel est super bien placé, pas de prise de tête pour aller à la porte d'entrée, 5mn à pied. A l'arrivée en fonction de la durée du séjour on nous a proposé plusieurs circuits adaptés sur le nombre de jours où on loge afin de profiter pleinement du parc, zéro logistique. Les billets du parcs étaient déjà réservés ... rien à gérer. Pour aller au train, on avait besoin d'un taxi à 5H du mat pas de soucis non plus tout a été géré. Gros plus l'ambiance familiale de l'hôtel et le restaurant qui permet de pas s'embêter le soir à courir les rues après des grosses journées de marche. Séjour parfait, merci !

Big and comfortable beds, incredible helpful owner that will help you a lot and explain you how to visit the national park in the best possible ways. They have a restaurant with tasty food. Good breakfast and Dinner options (maybe even lunch but I am not sure because I was in the mountains for lunch). I will definitely come back and will book again here.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

È un luogo molto familiare, e infatti c’è un’intera famiglia a gestirlo. Il personale è simpatico e sempre disponibile. Soprattutto la ragazza alla reception - che parla inglese - ci ha aiutato in molti modi: ci è venuta a prendere in macchina, ha prenotato per noi le attrazioni, ha organizzato i trasporti, ci ha perfino aiutato a trovare un altro hotel vicino alla stazione per la nostra ultima notte.

È vicino al ticket office ma è un po’ lontano da tutto il resto, soprattutto dall’East Gate (dove si va per prendere l’ascensore Bailong). Nonostante ciò con i taxi ce la siamo cavata.

Un piccolo paradiso lontano dalla folla. Carol gestisce la struttura con passione, è gentile e sempre disponibile per i clienti e ci ha fatto fare un percorso perfetto grazie al quale siamo riusciti a vedere tutti i punti senza code. Si può anche mangiare e la cucina è molto buona. Se potessi tornare lo farei per alloggiare di nuovo qui!

Posizione ottima, a 100 m dall'ingresso meno affollato del parco. La host è davvero gentile e disponibile e parla benissimo inglese. Ci ha proposto dei piani di visita per il parco che ci hanno permesso di evitare la folla in più di una occasione. L'hotel ha un ristorante interno, molto buono ed economico. Camera spaziosa.

Il bagno è migliorabile. Ad esempio, non c'era una cabina doccia, per cui lavarsi implicava allagare il pavimento.

Great accommodation, just at the Gate to Avatar Mountains. Carol, the owner, speaks fluent english, gave us all advice for the trips, booked tickets etc. Very good local food at restaurant just downstairs

La cercanía a la puerta oesta. 5 Minutos andando y estas. Es menos famosa que la este, pero tienes el elevador bailong y las Montañas avatar más lejos que entrando por la este. La atención de Carol muy buena

Staying here was amazing. The room is clean and just like advertised. The best thing about the hotel has to be how helpful Carol (one of the ladies who runs the hotel) is. She speaks great English and she helped us a great deal with booking drivers, organising our days in the park and finding alternatives in case of bad weather. She gave us great tips about lesser known parts of the park which aren’t even on most maps, which turned out to be the best views that we had. We got unlucky and the park was unexpectedly closed for 2 days during our stay and she drove us to the ticket office and even negotiated us a refund. The hotel is a lovely family run business and the food that we could order for breakfast and dinner was delicious. There were sockets that we could plug our european chargers into which was also a plus. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here because of the great hospitality and easy access to the park.

Good location, great hosts, homely atmosphere

Very nice personnel! Helpful with the tickets for the park, and great food. Even when I got bit by a monkey, the hotel helped me out with getting money back for insurance. When i was at the Red Cross they picked up straight away! Really recommend this place as it has perfect access to the park.

It was really well located to visit the national park. The staff was super helpful and made the plan for our entire stay, making it really easy for us to just enjoy the experience.

Really great place to stay to explore the avatar mountains! The host was lovely and extremely helpful in helping us plan the route/locations for each day. A very good location for the mountains but is quite far from the centre of Zhangjiajie & there aren’t any shops/restaurants nearby! Although the hotel has an attached restaurant with excellent food. They also arranged transport to the airport which was very useful given the location.

It was great location for getting to the park I’d say an 8min walk, all the room facilities where good and the manager carol was so so lovely and always there to help you she made my experience even more amazing, they have a restaurant you can eat at as there isn’t anything nearby and the food is lovely, it’s a nice family run vibe and nice to be in a more rural area for a change.

The only thing was my room was cold a lot of the time even though having the heater running all the time but I think you need to expect these things where in the rural areas central heating isn’t common, Carol offered me a hot water bottle which helped.

Carol is an exceptional host who speaks good English. She has a very good knowledge of where to go and visit in the Zhangjiajie Forest Park. Close (400 metres) to the West Gate Ticket Office. Serves good value breakfast (3 options) and very good value dinner.

No lifts and no free laundry facilities.

This is a wonderful place with a wonderful hostess, Carol, who is very kind and helpful. The location is excellent, it is the right choice if you are looking for quiet, and it is very close to the entrance to the park.

Carol is absolutely fantastic, super helpful and kind- I really owe my amazing experience to her! Her mum in the attached restaurant is also lovely, food there was great, room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Perfect location for the national park with the avatar mountains and Carol was great at giving the best tips and route which meant no queuing! She was also wonderful at organising transport etc and was always there to help. Such a great stay- I want to come back!

Carol is a super host! She helped us a lot with planning each day and organizing our stay in Zhangjaijie. The hostel is very friendly and quiet. The location is excellent. Without a doubt one of the highlights of our stay in China!

It was in a great location for the west gate (5 minute walk) - coming from here was so much less crowded and accessing the Bailong elevator going down was so quick (walking past the other way meant you would be waiting hours). It was clean and quiet. The family are friendly and helpful!

Only thing is that because it’s at the west gate - there is not much access to anything else - food, shops etc.

Carol and her family are incredibly welcoming and always ready to help out (e.g. choosing spots to visit in the park, booking transportation, etc.). They offer in-house cooking that’s freshly made and also caters to vegetarian needs. It‘s also super delicious! Also, the Yangjiajie Ticket Office is less crowded than other entrances to the park, yet close to many sights.

The bathroom can take some getting used to for travelers who haven’t been to China before. However, they were very clean and basic amenities (shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, combs, soap) are supplied.

Carol's managed to give the best advices to enjoy our stay at Zhangjiajie. Her and her family are very welcoming and accommodating !

The location was unmatched. Only a few meters away from Zhangjiajie National Park west gate. But the best part is Carol and her family who took care of us like a family. Carol speaks fine English and gave us accurate information about the park that helped us a lot. She and her family made sure that we are warm enough in our room and cooked good food for us. I would always recommend this inn for foreigners who don’t speak Chinese.

The rooms are not insulated during winters but as I said Carol’s mother brought us electric blanket to keep us warm.

The 2 best thing about this hotel are location and the owner (Carol). The Location is just 5 minutes walk from the ticket window of the forest. The owner carol is very kind and helpful and the best thing for foreign tourists is that she speak english very well, so no communication issue here.

Everything was perfect, Carol speaks really good in english, the restaurant under the reception was super good for a good price. We went to the national forest park and she helped us a lot to plan the days based on the weather. 100% recommended🙏🏽

Its proximity to yangjiajie ticket gate. Just a walking distance. Carol, the owner, was very accomodating, helpful and very fluent in English, too, which was a very big plus. She served as our travel consultant and she suggested the best places to visit given the vastness of Zhiangjiajie Nature Park. Food was also good- typical Chinese cusine- simple yet delicious.
