Complementary soap & lotion was not available in the bathroom, which would have been helpful for a 1 night stay. A washing up cloth was missing in the kitchen, making washing dishes and wiping counter tops difficult. We found the tiles cold to walk on, as there were no bedside carpets. (This could be a preference to some persons?)

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Honestly the place was great in terms of value for money,location and aesthetics but the customer service was lacking that personal touch.Our room did not have a mop,broom or even a cloth to wash the bath with after using it since there were four of us and we could only use the bath only as the shower was faulty:-(The tea station was a joke,we were only given 1x teabag each,1x coffee sachet each and 1x fresh milk each and they were not even added the next day and that was such an inconvenience.We made our own beds and whoever was cleaning the room did not bother to remake them or even replace the linen 🙄No iron or ironing board in the room so we had to ask my daughter's make up artist(we were there for my daughter's graduation) to bring her iron when she came in the morning so we could iron our clothes.Would I stay there again?Only out of desperation since I have stayed in the same area before and the customer service was a million times better than our experience at Ceelee's Place.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026Very friendly, we did arrive late and it was not a challenge for them at all. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the whole place from the swimming pool till the bathroom. Very clear house rules and we did feel safe. Nice place to sit outside and enjoy your first cup of coffee. The bed was very comfortable and felt like home and the shower (water) was very strong and we could relax after 10 hours of driving. Thank you for having us and Braam for your friendliness. Reviewed Nov 6, 2025It is in a quiet place and was just as advertised, neat and clean and the hosts were very hospitable and welcoming and attended to all of our needs. The room was cozy and warm and the room service was brilliant and to some level it was noise proof.
Just the step from bathroom to the bedroom is it a bit steep and one could slip and fall if not careful but i guess it was made to accommodate people with wheelchairs.

From our arrival Ms Erica welcomed us kindly and beautifully, I knew right there and then that our family was in good hands. Our kids had a beautiful day playing in the pool, which Mr Braam made sure that it was clean and ready for us. Oh did I mention the most beautiful garden ever, beautiful flowers, proper braai facilities, when you're in need of something, it literally arrives immediately, the staff is also so friendly and helpful.It's also self catering, with everything that you need. We had an amazing weekend, thanks to Mr and Mrs Wolmarans, may the good Lord enlarge your territory because you are indeed the best there is...We thank you, keep up the excellent Job.We will definitely see you soon.
