Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und ausreichend groß, das Bett sehr gemütlich und groß. Tolles Bad und der Pool läd zum entspannen ein. Die Besitzerin hat uns herzlichen empfangen, kommen gerne wieder!

Obwohl wir bereits am kommenden Morgen wieder sehr früh aufbrechen mussten, hat uns Christine zu so früher Stunde im Morgenmantel einen Kaffee gebracht. Für diese uns entgegengebrachte Aufmerksamkeit sind wir überaus dankbar. Die letzten Stunden hier im The View Guesthouse verbringen zu dürfen, bildete den krönenden Abschluss eines unvergesslichen Urlaubs.

Ein Freund von uns ist kurzfristig nach Somerset West gekommen und wollte für 2 Nächte bleiben, nachdem die Unterkünfte in unserer Nähe ziemlich ausgebucht waren, hat sich Christine die Mühe gemacht und für unseren Freund herumtelefoniert und schließlich eine sehr nette Unterkunft für ihn gefunden - alle waren happy. Wir haben auch sehr gute Ausflugstipps von ihr bekommen.

Wir hatten uns Somerset West als erste Station nach dem langen Nachtflug nach Kapstadt ausgesucht und das war die richtige Entscheidung: Zimmer war gemütlich, Bett bequem, Frühstück lecker und wir konnten sogar früher einchecken was uns sehr entgegen kam. Alle waren super freundlich. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Insbesondere die Betten haben wir als sehr bequem empfunden. Alles war sauber, ordentlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Zudem bietet das Haus einen wundervollen Blick, den wir am Morgen mit einem leckeren Kaffee von Christine genießen konnten. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise dort, würden aber jederzeit wiederkommen.

Reviewed Jan 10, 2026Tolles kleines Guesthouse in Somerset West. Chris und ihr Team sind sehr nett und herzlich. Die Zimmer sind groß, geräumig und blitzsauber. Als Standort ideal, sowohl fürs Meer (Strand, GordonsBay), als auch für die Weinregion. In unter 30min ist man am Flughafen.

Reviewed Nov 7, 2025Dit verblijf heeft al onz verwachtingen overtroffen. Christina en haar team stonden altijd voor ons klaar en het voelde aan als thuis. Mooie accomodatie met zwembad en een schitterende tuin. Met een rijkelijk ontbijt konden we de dag goed beginnen. Als wij nog een keer naar Zuid Afrika gaan komen we zeker terug.
Ik kan werkelijk niets verzinnen wat beter kan...
