Reviewed Aug 8, 2026We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pebbles Beach Cottage! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The cottage was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality time away. Everything was even better than we expected, and you can really see the care and effort that has gone into making the cottage feel welcoming and homely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Pebbles Beach Cottage to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable getaway. We will definitely be back!

Eish, the were no spare towels. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable, it may be due for an upgrade. Oh the bathroom also had no steam extractor (it was there but not working).

Reviewed Apr 24, 2026What a gem, exactly what I was looking for and far beyond my expectations. Beautiful view from the comfort of your bed. The apartment is neat and has everything one needs. There's absolutely nothing to not like about the Pebbles cottage.
Ok maybe one thing, my stay was in Autumn and the weather was a bit chilly in the evenings and early mornings. The apartment is a bit cold and there's no aircon.

This facility offer towels only every fourdays . I find this totally unacceptable. When i requested clean towels i was told by the owner that they only normally give towels every four days however he will make a plan for me .... what does this mean ? surely not at the rate we are paying to be told that 😒😒😒. I did however get clean towels.

Air conditioning would be a needed upgrade. It was incredibly hot while we were there. The room was like a sauna and the fan that is provided just does not do much.

Reviewed Jan 21, 2026Right by the ocean, views and sunset spectacular! Nearby restaurant for breakfast lunch and very early dinner - super good. Property and room is great. We had free use of garage to store our bicycles and bike rack. Key box made it easy for our different schedules. The open kitchen lounge dinning space is perfect for two enjoying a break by the coast. We even had a braai and they cleaned up for us. We stayed a bit longer (9days) and our room was services twice with complete change of linnen and towels during our stay. Great advice at local eateries, cycling and hiking routes. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
The bed is comfortable, but we are used to something a little more bouncy. Just being privileged.

Reviewed Jan 9, 2026Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt. Es ist leicht mit dem Auto zuerreichen. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet, das Bad ist einfach, aber ausreichend. Besonders schön ist die ruhige und private Lage mit dem schönen Eingangsbereich/ Terasse. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Bed could do with an upgrade for comfort, and cotton sheets....

Reviewed Dec 14, 2025Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist toll, mit Ausblick auf das Meer. In unmittelbarer Nähe zur Ferienwohnung startet der Sacramento Trail. Läden oder sonstiges befinden sich erst in Gqeberha (5-10 Minuten mit dem Auto). Es ist eine sehr ruhige Straße, man fühlt sich aber auch sicher.
Das Appartment besteht aus einem Raum mit Küche und Bett, der Kühlschrank ist sehr laut und stört beim schlafen. Der Check-In war unpersönlich, da einfach die Tür offen stand und keiner vorbei kam. Das war auch unkompliziert, wir waren uns aber nicht ganz sicher, ob alles passt. Auch zum Check-Out kam niemand vorbei.

Ich wäre so gerne länger dort geblieben. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass man im oberen Apartment gut Bücher schreiben kann. Port Elizabeth hat mir nicht besonders gefallen, aber die Umgebung des Cottages war fantastisch.
Port Elizabeth. Aber das war nicht weiter wichtig, weil ich vom Cottage aus mit Tonys Tours einen Tagesausflug zum Addo Elephant Park gemacht habe. Das war spektakulär. An der Unterkunft ist nichts auszusetzen, die war einfach zauberhaft.

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025Hervorragende Lage, direkt an einem sehr schönen Strand. Die Gastgeber haben uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit unseren Kindern. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und bietet alles, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Unsere Kinder haben sich auch sehr euch gefühlt.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2025We stayed at Pebbles in late June 2025. The area is safe, quiet, and pristine—position: real-estate GOLD! Sunrise, sunset, and whale‑watching unfolded like nature’s TV right on the doorstep. This self-catering accommodation was fully equipped—yet nothing felt cluttered. All modern amenities and creature comforts are provided, but who needs TV and internet when nature offers EVERYTHING just outside the unit. Dealing with the host was seamless and easy. The Sacramento restaurant just down the road became our go-to for delicious, well-priced brunches, and the endless trails (also right on the doorstep) were where we went to burn calories. We highly, highly recommend for a couple.
I grew up in Port Elizabeth and was returning for a family visit. Prior to booking Pebbles, we did our research. All expectations were met.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025This unit was self catering and I loved my stay there so much, walking distance to the beach and safe to even walk around the area at around 8pm in the evenings. The hosts were very kind and accomodative , thank you so so much.
Just perhaps a bigger bin outside if you are staying a few days just to help keep the unit clean. The bathroom was a bit tight for me but its just because Im a curvy girl but I managed.

More kitchen supplies would have been nice :)
