Reviewed Jul 9, 2026De locatie was een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om Valley of desolation te bezoeken. Ook de buurt was erg aangenaam. Danielle raadde ons een restaurantje in de buurt aan waar we heerlijk konden eten met onze kinderen ‘Hello you’. We hadden een aangenaam verblijf hier tijdens de winter van Zuid-Afrika. We verbleven 1 nachtje.
Het huis maakte veel lawaai. Je kon de andere gasten horen stappen, praten, zelfs bijna horen slapen. De hond huilde veel. Het ontbijt viel ons een beetje tegen omdat de recensies zo uitmuntend waren.

The breakfast was also very nice. We expected a European breakfast, but could ask for an English breakfast, which was very good. For the price we paid, all our expectations were surpassed. We would recommend it 100%.

Noise levels were poor. Reception sat directly next to the room, with the main gate on the opposite side. Every sound carried straight into the room. The bathroom sat at the end of the corridor, so any visit meant walking past the 2 other rooms and adding more noise. The WiFi code changed during the stay. No one informed us. The room cards were not updated. Breakfast service was disappointing. No one asked about dietary requirements. A plate of bacon and eggs arrived by default. As a vegan, this was not ok and ruined the experience. There was nothing else really available. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable and poorly managed.

Plugs and cords on the floor. I am not so sure about the safety of plugs stacked into a crows nest.
