Fantastische rustige en veilige plek, gezellige mooie binnenkoer, net, met alle praktische benodigdheden, zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en heerlijke bedverwarming :)

Had no hot water, we all had to watch up with cold water in a cold weather. I was not notified or made aware the staff will have access to come in to clean up in our absence. I feel their check in time from 13h00 is late as we had to buy time somewhere else before checking in. Just like their check out time 10h00 - I feel it's too early as it didn't give us time to have proper breakfast before living - everything wash just a rush even though we do understand staff had to clean up in preparing for other guests. I expected a checklist on check in day to be aware what's in the lodge and same checklist when checking out but there wasn't any...to me that would make life easy to avoid miscommunication and misunderstanding should there be goods missing or having a guest/s raising concerns of what they might have forgotten especially when staff have access in the lodge while the guest/s is still occupying the space or gone out.

Hostess is lovely.

The decor wasn’t quite to my taste (a bit colourful, but that’s a personal preference). Some of the lounge furniture is showing wear and could use updating, and the linen felt a little old. It’s fine for a short overnight stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer visit.

Janine het ons baie vriendelik ontvang. Sy het ons ook vooraf gekontak om te hoor of hulle ons Stoeptasting registrasie pakkies solank by Toerisme buro kan gaan optel en in ons kamers neer te sit, wat SUPER nice was! Sy het ook 'n heerlike restaurant Frontiers, net om die draai, vir ons aanbeveel wat onverbeterlik was. 'n Vergete rugsak van ons is op die Tasting opgetel met ons besprekingspapier gelukkig daarin. Obesa Lodge was gekontak, en sy het ons laat weet waar om dit op te tel. Dit gee ons 'n wonderlike indruk van die dorp en ons verblyf. Die kamers is baie netjies en baie veilige parkering. Ons was naby alles. Baie dankie vir 'n ideale verblyf! Ons kom verseker weer!

Nie 'n krisis, maar 'n klein opwasbak langs die mikrogolf sou gaaf wees. Ons het in die badkamer wasbak ons koppies uitgespoel. Maar ons was min daar so oor die fees, so nie 'n probleem vir kort verblyf nie. Dit is kindervriendelik daar, wat gemaak het dat ander huurders se kinders 7 uur die oggend luidrugtig geraas het met hulle "scooters" op die parkeerarea voor ons kamer.

The room was lovely and comfortable, the area around the rooms are so lovely, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved our stay.

The place is very clean and welcoming from the outside. The inside is neat bright and spacious.

The whole feel of the lodge is just lovely. It was close enough to walk to get some groceries.

I just wish there was a sink in the kitchenette, as we had to use the basin in the bathroom to wash any dishes.

We enjoyed our stay and will use Obesa lodge again on our next visit. The rooms are spacious and we enjoyed the pool and other outside areas.

It was spacious, comfortable and all I had hoped for.

Our Flat was well equipped and comfortable, the Aircon in the rooms was a blessing with the heat of Graaf Reinet at the time, the pool and braai areas was a pleasure to be used

L'appartement est vraiment bien équipé. La voiture est à l'abri dans la cour. Il y a la climatisation dans l'appartement. Les draps sentent bon. L'endroit est calme. Il y a une véranda extérieure pour manger. Il y a une piscine. Un étendoir pour faire sécher son linge.

The property was neat and secure. Loved the details in every corner of the property. It was well maintained. The lady at reception was extremely helpful Rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean. Everything you need is provided for like iron and ironing board, even tea, milk and sugar Great overnight stay

Super Innenhof mit Pool

It was close to the cactus 🌵 nursery It was awesome to see such gigantic plants. Other than that, there was not much to see.

Didn't have a proper kitchen basin. Had to wash plates in the bathroom basin that was disgusting 🫣 fļ.

The settings, outlay off the place.The theme of each house was quite unique.

Secure, spacious and safe. Quiet. Had everything we needed.

Beds ain't comfortable, consider new firm beds, not the spring beds. Summer right now, beds should not have electric blanket and a blanket, I had to remove the blanket.

Thank you for the cozy little stop over, i was a little worried about the place but quite surprised, clean, and cozy. Very helpful. Thank you to the lady that sent me the parkrun information, without, I would have been late, thinking it would start at 8. 🌹

Maybe a little tuck shop where you can get something cold to drink

Beautiful property. Loved the colors. It was close to everything we needed. We were welcomed and given all the instructions we needed along with ideas of things to do and where to eat. The room was larger than expected and if we were staying longer we would have been very comfortable.

It’s a personal preference- the bed was too soft for my liking but nothing wrong with it. Some people prefer a softer bed so I would not say ot was a huge problem.

Aircon, cactus, swimming pool, bedding good.

Personal preference on outside view...too colorful to our taste.

Room was spacious, and had aircon.

Curtains in the navy room were not dark enough.

It was brilliant, enjoyed our stay to the fullest!

The property is very central, walking distance to the Reinet House, art galleries, and Information Center. Cute cat immediately made himself at home. Clean room and swimming pool.

Nice big rooms with everything needed

Nice large room, very comfortable bed and linen. Two doors, and windows so lots of air flow, lovely effective aircon, large shower Loved the ornaments and arty touched in the gardens. Lots of bird life. Pool was refreshing

No complaints, apart from the heat in the town 😅

We stopped for the night on our way to PE. We spent a lovely evening there. We ate at an excellent restaurant in walking distance. Would definitely stay there again

Goede locatie op wandelafstand van het centrum. Personeel komt dagelijks langs voor onderhoud.

Heel erg verouderd en heel koud. Enkel airco/verwarming in de slaapkamers. Weinig comfort, versleten meubilair. Veel lawaai van omliggende huizen en straatlawaai.

Stayed in the JADE unit. Beautiful and clean unit, comfortable bed and nice layout. Undercover parking behind remote gate. New airfryer in the kitchen and most of the things you need to cook a meal.

People next door were super loud until 4am, road is also quite noisy. Walls are not very sound proof. Badluck if you get bad neighbors, I guess

Clean, spacious and everything we needed was there.

Location was situated in a convenient place and easy to get the place, we even requested to check in earlier and they agreed.

Wish they can have small heaters it's very cold in winter at Graaff-Reinet. But we understand electricity is expensive.

Lovely property with plenty of space outdoors and indoors. Nice swimming pool , bbq's and outdoor tables and chairs. Room spotless, beds and pillows very comfortable, aircon worked perfectly. Big fridge is a bonus . Easy check in / check out

The room was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities that one can think of are available ( aircon, tv, iron, microwave, fridge, etc). The person at check-in was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Excellent value for money!

Baie oulik en veilig. Lekker swembad.

The cenary. Seeing and listening to birds singing. The room was super clean and spotless. The windows were closed and this prevented the mosquito's from coming in.

There was a braai and entertainment taking place at the neighbors place and their music was loud and it went on till late.

The room was adequate and comfortable for my needs. Unfortunately the shower outlet was half blocked, filling the floor area with water and leaving a vrot smell once it eventually drains.
