Great venue
Great location to get to local offices, quiet spot other than on weekends when activity picks up with hickers, cyclists and other activities offered on the farm, plus the customers at the various restaurants, etc. Enjoyed the wine.
Lighting is a bit dim in the lounge. TV a bit on the small side. The braai needs urgent repairs. The complimentary wine was not great, bottom shelf stuff - but they do have good wine as well its just they give you the cheaper stuff.
Beautiful view, cottage is well equipped including a braai area, AC units and daily cleaning. Their wine is lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Lovely location and well maintained
The mini bar had Jack Daniel whiskey. There are so many excellent cape whiskies it seems a shame not to support local businesses
The view is spectacular. The cottage is well equipped; I liked the free gift. I will return for sure. The restaurant is close and the food is excellent.
The door latches need attention.
Everything was perfect We had a nice braai and the venue is excellent.
Just to assist you. It is not a complaint I made a plan, but the unit needs a casserole for braai purposes. I did not find anything to put my meat in after the braai and maybe a salad bowl would help as well and bigger spoons to dish up salads. This is just to assist you. Just have a look at Nr 2's braai outside. The braai needs a little maintenance.
Worthy the money
friendly staff and neat accommodation
Location, price and friendly staff and security.
No breakfast on premises. Could sometimes hear conversations of the guests next door. Soundproofing not to good.
Always enjoy the stay there.
Ek het daarvan gehou dat die restaurant en blyplek op dieselfde perseel is. Uitsig vanaf die huisie se stoep was ook baie mooi.
Everything was amazing. The views, the peacefulness
Perfect location. Clean linen.
Didnt have breakfast as the restaurant only opened at 11. The manager at the restaurant was very accommodating and we all had some coffee. He was excellent. Shower was hot and easy to set at the desired temperature
The cottage was a bit cold but heater did help, was a cold rainy day. Shower door stuck a bit.
Free Wine tasting and discount on wines. Plus free bottle of wine in the cottage. Cottage was neat and comfortable.
DSTV was nice, but a smart TV would have helped to connect to Netflix and Prime. Minor issue though
Good location, enjoyed the country feel, staff were very friendly and helpful.
Maintenance in the cottage. The handle to the wardrobe door was loose, when I took it out to indicate that it needed to be repaired, it was put back. The bathroom light kept going out and the glass shelf in the bathroom is precariously balancing on a bracket that is coming out of the wall. The in the main bedroom the bed is too short.
Location
Shower had no pressure (air in the system) No heater in the lounge Back door couldn't unlock from the inside
Complimentary wine and wine tasting Beautiful view Clean cottage
Mattress not to comfy
Well located to explore the Durbanville wine route. Apartment is comfortable and check was easy.
The location was perfect. The staff was very friendly. The cottage was clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and lovely rusks.
No complaints
Tidy and cute
Single bathroom for 4 people
It is beautiful, spacious place, with great view.

Comfortable accommodation with beautiful views
Just the whole Atmosphere and location was so clean and beautiful. We got a free bottle of wine and for the price,we definitely going back. The staff from the front desk, gate guard cleaning lady just so friendly and makes you special.
There was nothing not to like
It was so beautiful, tranquil and we both loved it.
The lady didnt clean.
The cottages are very comfortable and have everything you need. Best part was the bottle of wine in our room and the free wine tasting at D'Aria.
Minor issue with the front door lock but the staff advised that they'll get it fixed.
The aircon was on on arrival and the place nice and warm!!!! lovely rusks
All was good
The location was great as always.
I am extremely disappointed with my most recent stay at D’aria’s Guest Cottages. I used to book these cottages regularly, sometimes up to three times a month, just to relax and escape for a while. Unfortunately, this last experience was absolutely not worth the money. I’m not sure if there is new management, but the level of service has changed drastically. The staff were very rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. The cottage allows up to four guests, yet my guest was not even allowed inside, which made no sense and was never properly explained to us. The listing on Booking.com also mentions a minibar, but there was none available. There was no wood provided for the barbecue either, and when we contacted the manager, Amandla, for assistance, she was extremely rude and unwilling to help. It honestly felt like customer service did not matter at all. To make things worse, the heaters in the cottage did not work, and the place was freezing cold. We eventually had to leave and go home with all the food we had brought along because the stay became so uncomfortable. I also wanted to settle a small outstanding amount from a previous stay, but Amandla refused to assist us, simply saying it was “too late.” The entire experience felt cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. Sadly, after being a regular customer for so long, I can honestly say I will never waste my money here again.
Clean

The only thing is the distance from the venue to the cottages as i did not have a car.
This is absolutely hands down my favourite place to be.
Nothing
The view
The pillows were horrendous :-o ALL of them ! Other than that it was absolutely perfect :)
I liked the location and set up
The main bedroom linen was not clean. I did take pictures.
The area and the view.

Accommodation was clean and secure with a security guard stationed at the entrance to the cottages I only stayed one night however I plan to return for a longer stay as they have all the amenities required for self catering as well as a restaurant nearby
Location safe and secure, located on the wine farm. Really convenient as close to shopping centers and you can visit the local restaurants in case you don't want to go out. Amelda was very friendly and helpful with any requests. We could drop off all our baggage in the morning and it was moved to the cottage for us when we returned. Nice touch with the free bottle of wine and wine tasting. Was the only place we could find that we could invite some friends for a braai. All around perfect.
Only improvement need is the braai as it has quite a bit of rust, but Amelda organised a piece of metal for us which sorted it out.
Great location, pretty views from the porch. We had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds and dedicated parking. This was a practical stay. LOVED the wine and rusks provided, that made us feel special. We also enjoyed having a quality restaurant so close by for dinner. The location is the biggest factor with this stay as it is close enough to town without being too close. Best of both worlds.
I think better windows would enhance the living space to incorporate the beautiful views. You would have no idea you're in such a beautiful area based on the inside of the cottage. This is just a suggestio, not at all an issue. I would stay here again.
Everything is above expectation!
The bed and nice bedding and cleanes
Nothing
This is our second visit to the D'aria Guest cottages. We love the home from home feel and the facilities that are available to us when staying there. The staff are exceptional - especially this time round - handling a water shutdown which was due to complete unforseen circumstances beyond their control. They did their best to try and make the guests as comfortable as they could.
Perhaps the private braai areas on each balcony could be upgraded in terms of the rusted plates at the bottom where the coals lie - and the braai grids. Otherwise an overall happy and beautiful stay.
After doing the TTOM this was the perfect place for us to just relax and enjoy the moment afterwards. Enjoyed the wine and food and the kids also had a very nice time in the play area. Will definitely recommend it.
We loved the little cottages very comfortable and had everything we needed. Having the restaurants on site was an added bonus. The wine tasting was a lovely treat.
Location overall was convenient for us. It is very close to the main road and that did unfortunately create a lot of early morning traffic noise, which for us was the main downside to the setting and stay, for the rest cottage is comfy and well equipped, and has its own little terrace and BBQ, we loved the complimentary rusks and wine: thank you 🤗the restaurant was also amazing!
The only issue was traffic noise which cannot be changed I guess- we managed by closing bedroom window and opening the one to the back room instead, which is a twin and therefore we didn’t use it instead.
Very comfortable, cleanand central , serviced daily .. Also good location
I feel the cottages are under equipped. No glass bowls , braai wood supplied. Its not very self catering friendy . You can warm bought food in the microwave or air foyer.
Spacious and very clean
Main bedroom matrass a bit soft for my personal liking
Awesome wine farm and the cottages on site are well located, close to Willowbridge. Great restaurants on site.
Great location and view. Restaurants very busy.
The place was a good size. Nice view of the vineyard.
The snacks and drinks in the chalets were severely overpriced. There were a few kitchen items that would have been nice to have in the chatlet. The air-conditioner remote did not work and I called management on the number provided and nobody answered.
Picture perfect venue. Good wine
1 aircon remote between two rooms
Super clean and friendly staff
the aircons in the rooms were being faulty
Living amongst the vineyards was superb
The beds could've been MORE COMFORTABLE- DEFINITELY SO!
The pillows are really big and hard
Excellent location , wonderful views.
Some work needed on administrative staff - unnecessary email sent following a mini bar error. This could have easily been rectified locally within the housekeeping staff and admin. Prior to engaging with clients a professional supervisor involvement should have taken place. This left us feeling uncomfortable ( for a matter of a 1 packet of crisps) However we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a great venue !
Charming little cottage and was the perfect location for us as we were visiting our son in Durbanville. This would also be a great base if you were wishing to explore the wine farms.
The cottage is very beautiful and the view is breathtaking.
The shower is not wheelchair friendly.
It is located on a wine farm, location was great with secure parking outside. We only slept over for 1 night and the place was perfect and had everything we need. The shower was nice too.
There was nothing really I disliked, the furniture is a bit outdated, but for a short stay it didn't bother me.
We were gifted a bottle of wine which was a nice treat. We enjoyed the kids play area and restaurant and loved the views over the vineyards.
Location, value for money - on a working wine-farm with restaurants - but place needs a update to be more relavant
There is only one plug behind the bed and both bedlamps plugged in - if you need to charge phones or any other items you need to do on opposite side of the room - Need more plugs of lead to charge phone etc. Bathroom have no space to keep your personal stuff - no shelving or anyting. Place is a bit dated - blinds are old and dark - furnishings old.
Very convenient to stay. We love staying there. Very well situated. Safe and clean and lovely staying on a wine farm close to alot of amendeties
Great place to stay and we have booked to come back later in the year
All good
