Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Excellent location and wonderful staff. Our stay was very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the sunset. The breakfast was quite extensive and well prepared.
Not much to dislike. To nit pick: 1. There wasn't really any sound proofing between the bedroom and the bathroom. 2. The parking situation is first come first serve. I think it would be nicer if the parking was demarcated by room.

The fireplace in the lounge does not work when the wind is blowing in a certain direction. We found this a bit disappointing as we chose this place due to the advertised fireplace - a bonus in the cold winter months

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Das Gästehaus liegt direkt am Strand von Paternoster, einen besseren Blick auf das Meer dürfte es nicht geben. Die Staff war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist ein kleines Gästehaus, so dass man sich fast wie in einem eigenen Haus fühlen kann. Frühstück und Ausstattung des Hotels sind top.
Es gibt für uns hier nichts zu beanstanden.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026What a sweet place to stay and we enjoyed visiting with Ann Sue and seeing her garden. A lovely breakfast, she gave us good recommendations for places to go and she even looked ahead to our next location and notified us that there was flooding there. We were easily able to change plans. A very comfortable stay and I highly recommend it. The only downside for us was that we had to carry our luggage up stairs. Other rooms are on the ground floor.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Heerlijk ontbijt en prachtige kamer op de eerste verdieping met mooi uitzicht op het strand. Fijn bed, mini bar, kluisje. Kortom alles aanwezig voor een heerlijk verblijf in Paternoster. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Naast de kamer hadden we een groot terras met uitzicht op zee, een tafel om gezellig wat te drinken of eten terwijl je van het uitzicht geniet. Ook twee ligbedden staan ter beschikking.
Parkeren met een grote auto (bv de Toyota Hilux) is wat aan de krappe kant maar te doen. Het zwembad is meer een plonsbad voor als je even verkoeling zoekt op erg warme dagen maar met de zee dichtbij is dat geen probleem.

Reviewed May 6, 2026Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. It's a plated and served breakfast, not a buffet style. We enjoyed a breakfast on the patio outside our room the one morning, and it was lovely. The view is unmatched. I also appreciated that they had alternative milk available (soya). We were able to access the property as we needed. It was quiet, and just what we needed to rest and rejuvinate. I loved that there was an incredible view of the sea from the bed, the couch, and the bathroom. We were lucky to be able to spot seals, dolphins and a whale.
I would only recommend a coffee machine so that there is more than filter coffee available.

Very comfortable well appointed 1st floor bedroom suite with balcony looking straight on to the beach. A wonderful spot to relax, listen to the waves and admire the view. Ansu and her staff made us very welcome and paid attention to every detail during our stay. Delicious and beautifully served breakfast each morning.

Bequeme Betten, großes Bad, es fehlte an nichts. Das Frühstück ist mit viel Liebe zubereitet und total lecker. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett und gibt tolle Tipps. Danke!

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Eine Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage direkt am Meer mit einer sehr charismatischen und überaus hilfsbereiten Besitzerin, freundlichen Mitarbeitern, ausreichendem Parkplatz und leckerem Frühstück mit Eierspeisen nach Wunsch und gutem Kaffee. Sehr gute Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Man schläft mit Meeresrauschen ein, wacht damit auf und möchte gar nicht wieder weg.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Was für ein Paradies! Stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit viel Liebe zum Detail, unglaublich bequemen Betten und Meeresrauschen zum Einschlafen. Die Aussicht direkt aufs Meer ist traumhaft. Das Personal ist super freundlich, das Frühstück hervorragend, und die Zimmerkühlschränke waren bei unserer Ankunft mit Wasser und Wein bestückt – besser geht es nicht. Ansu ist eine wundervolle, herzliche Gastgeberin. Restaurants und die kleine Waterfront sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025Sumptuous 3 course breakfast. Location a true haven. To wake up to azure blue seas, priceless. The sound of waves crashing against the rocks lulls you to sleep. Long walks on the beach simply therapeutic. Great hospitality. Friendly staff and owner/manager.
Extend breakfast time. 1 hour time slot from 8.30 to 9.30 leaves little room for flexibility.
