Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig, super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage am Berg ist zwar abenteuerlich, aber mit Auto kein Problem. Dafür hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick von der Wohnung und es liegt sehr ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit Connie lief auch super, wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

Unterkunft mit Meerblick, in real noch mal schöner als auf den Bildern! Conny hat Taxi & Mietwagen netterweise für uns organisiert und war immer zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas benötigt haben. Es war sehr sauber! Es hat uns richtig gut gefallen-wir haben nichts zu bemängeln 😊

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Vista D’Oro. L’appartement est impeccable : très propre, récent, parfaitement équipé et conforme à la description. La vue est magnifique et la grande terrasse est un véritable atout pour profiter du cadre exceptionnel. Un immense merci surtout à Connie, notre hôte, dont la gentillesse, la disponibilité et l’attention ont été remarquables. C’est sans doute l’une des personnes les plus accueillantes que nous ayons rencontrées lors de nos voyages. Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans aucune hésitation et y reviendrions avec grand plaisir.

Struttura valida e pulita. La vista è molto bella e la posizione ottima. Connie è stata super cordiale e gentile, parla benissimo l’italiano e ci ha aiutato con auto ed escursione in barca.

Ci è piaciuta tutto, l’unica cosa consigliamo la macchina perchè per arrivare alla struttura c’è un’una salita molto ripida.

Elegante e confortevole in ogni aspetto. Da viverci per la vita ! Dalla fermata del bus si raggiunge in 10 minuti .La strada è panoramica e ben illuminata. Quando siamo arrivati, la proprietaria si è offerta per accompagnarci in auto a fare la spesa.È stata meravigliosa per l'intero soggiorno Negozi,take way,ristoranti a pochi passi dalla fermata del bus Consigliatissimo

nichts (Wir wussten bereits im Vorhinein, dass der Anstieg zur Unterkunft sehr steil ist, einmal am Tag auf jeden Fall machbar, wenn man fit ist und sich mental darauf einstellt. Wir wollten bewusst kein Auto und es war die Unterkunft allemal wert!)

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und der Ausblick einfach traumhaft. Connie ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und hat uns viele tolle Tipps zur Insel, zu Restaurants und Ausflugszielen gegeben – alle Empfehlungen waren hervorragend. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist, dass für drei Personen etwas mehr Geschirr vorhanden sein könnte. Ansonsten war alles perfekt.

Soggiorno perfetto sotto ogni punto di vista. La casa è splendida, pulitissima, dotata di ogni comfort e in una posizione fantastica, consigliata la macchina per essere autonomi nel girare e per la salita in cui si trova la casa che vale però la meravigliosa vista. Un grazie speciale a Connie e Charlie, persone di una gentilezza e disponibilità davvero eccezionali, che ci hanno fatto sentire accolti fin dal primo momento. Più che una casa vacanze, è stata una vera casa lontano da casa. Consigliatissima!

We had a very pleasant stay in Praslin and would definitely recommend this accommodation. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after exploring the island. The host, Connie, was extremely helpful and welcoming. She explained everything clearly and was always willing to assist with anything we needed, whether organizing trips or arranging pick-up and drop-off at the ferry. The house is located on a hill, but this was never a problem because Connie also offers transportation for guests whenever needed, which was greatly appreciated.

Tolle Lage, sehr freundliche Besitzerin. Auf Nachrichten wurde stets schnell geantwortet und auch die Vermittlung des Mietwagens hat prima geklappt. Wir können die Unterkunft daher sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

Leider sind die Bilder vom Zimmer unklar zugeordnet. Wir dachten, dass wir gemäß den Bildern das obere Zimmer gebucht hätten, jedoch hat es sich herausgestellt das dies nicht der Fall war.

Sehr schönes Gästehaus mit zwei Wohneinheiten und einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Das Appartement war groß und toll eingerichtet. Connie ist die beste Gastgeberin die wir je kennengelernt haben. Sehr herzlich, gastfreundlich, authentisch und gibt tolle Tipps.

Ohne Mietwagen eher nicht zu empfehlen, da es eine doch etwas steilere Straße zum Haus hoch geht. Ansonsten gibt es rein gar nichts auszusetzen.

Piękny apartament z cudownym widokiem z tarasu. Bardzo wygodnie i duże łóżko w pięknej sypialni. Bardzo czysty i rewelacyjnie wyposażony apartament. Świetna kuchnia i łazienka. Czuliśmy się u Conni jak w domu. Dookoła piękną roślinność i odgłosy natury. Polecamy 11/10. Podjazd, o którym wiele osób pisze nie jest wielkim utrudnieniem jeśli masz swoje auto i jesteś średnim kierowcą.

Czas za szybko minął.

Conny und ihr Mann Charlie haben uns herzlich empfangen. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Beide sind sie sehr herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Conny und Charlie haben uns auch im Ort abgeholt und für uns Transfers durchgeführt. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch und das Apartment sehr gut ausgestattet und mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Die beste Unterkunft, die wir auf den Seychellen hatten. Das Haus liegt oben auf dem Hügel und der Aufstieg ist nur für sehr sportliche Naturen. Wir haben uns ein Taxi für 100 Rupies genommen oder wurden von unseren Gastgebern abgeholt. Anse Volbert hat alles, was man braucht und Conny hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Wir danken den Beiden für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt.

The room was spacious, perfectly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was super friendly and made us feel at home. We had a great time!

Wir hatten ein paar tolle Tage bei Connie! Super nette Gastgeberin die uns viele gute Tipps gegeben hat und auch organisiert. Alles war sehr sauber, bequemes Bett und sehr schöne Ausstattung! Der Ausblick ist wunderschön und jeden Meter bergauf wert! Wir würden für den Aufenthalt ein Auto empfehlen, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist kann man auch laufen (sehr steil, ca 10-15 Minuten).

Excellent stay on Praslin Island. The place had everything necessary for a great stay. It was clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking. The bed was the comfiest during our Seychelles trip. We had some incredible sleep here, especially in the mornings and siestas when you could open the balcony/windows and turn on the fan 😄 The view from the villa is incredible. The local beach was our favourite from the whole trip. However, it is a 20 min walk uphill to get back to the villa, be prepared for exercise unless you rent a car. Special thanks to our kind host Connie, who helped us navigate our hospital trip.

Dieser Urlaub begann bereits vor der Anreise. Connie hat uns bei Transport und Mietwagen toll unterstützt - vielen Dank nochmal. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich, man wacht mit Vogelgezwitscher und einem tollen Blick über das Meer auf. <3

Die Gastgeberin war super nett und hilfsbereit. Sie stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, was sehr hilfreich war, da sie sich in der Touristik-Branche bestens auskennt. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch (vorne das Meer, hinten der Wald). Die Ausstattung ist gut, mit Toaster, Herd, Wasserkocher, Steckdosen-Adapter, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus ist ebenfalls für Gäste reserviert.

Das Haus liegt auf dem Berg. Man sollte einen Mietwagen haben, dann ist es gar kein Problem. Wenn man aber jeden Tag zum Strand laufen möchte, ist es etwas ungünstig.

The flat is on the first floor of the house. The view from the balcony over the sea is wonderful and you can enjoy the morning sitting there and listen to nature awakening around you. On the opposite direction you look to the jungle and see a lot of fruit bats. Our host was super friendly and helped us with everything As described the house is on a hill and the way to the top is quite steep. So this did not come as a surprise. With a rental car this is not an issue. We were on foot, so this gave us an extra exercise. Connie, our host, offered us a dive from time to time, which was super nice.

Thank you for having us, Connie! You welcomed us with warmth and kindness. You were always responsive, very helpful, and gave us some great local recommendations! The house has an amazing view of the bay, it comes with lots of space, and a free parking spot on the premises. You always kept the place clean and took good care of us!

Casa bellissima vista stupenda La Pace

Everything, the house is as on the pictures or even better, very clean, modern, new equipments and furnitures inside. Simple things like the bed and doors don’t make noise are a big plus 🙏🏻 which is not the case many times. Connie is the cutest host, if we ever come back, we will stay here again! 😎🥰

It is a little bit out of town on a hill. But I think it is an easy walk for about 10 minutes from town. The appartement is very nice and you have a great view ocer the sea and the islands. Thank you very much Connie for all the help and the arrangements.

Connie è davvero il valore aggiunto del soggiorno, gentile, attenta e sempre pronta ad aiutarti in qualsiasi cosa, parla perfettamente italiano e ti fa sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. L’appartamento è spazioso, luminoso e curato in ogni dettaglio, con una splendida vista panoramica sull’oceano tra la vegetazione tropicale. Tutto è impeccabilmente pulito, il letto è comodissimo e un plus non da poco, in bagno c'è il bidet! Posizione tranquilla e perfetta per esplorare l’isola, con il vantaggio di rientrare la sera nella pace della collina. Un soggiorno che consigliamo davvero a chi cerca relax, comfort e ospitalità autentica.

Ho letto alcune recensioni che segnalavano la salita ripida per raggiungere la casa, per noi non è stato affatto un problema, anzi! È proprio grazie a quella posizione in alto che si gode una vista spettacolare, una vera vista d’oro, che ripaga ampiamente ogni passo.

Do miasteczka, plaży i pobliskich sklepów jest bardzo blisko. Przystanek autobusowy znajduje się w odległości 5min spacerem. Właścicielka Connie jest bardzo pomocna i serdeczna. Sama podpowiedziała nam co warto zobaczyć uwzględniając lokalne święta i atrakcyjność wycieczek. W obiekcie znajdują się tylko dwa mieszkania co zapewnia prywatność i spokój. Great place to stay in Praslin. The accommodation itself is ideal - clean, well-equipped kitchen, big / comfortable bedroom and nice living space. The host is so welcoming and helpful for recommendations around the island. The views are incredible!!

Not that we didn’t like but be aware that the property is at the top of a hill (approx 15 mins uphill walk from beach area). Some may want a car to get up! There is parking and the view is worth it though

The location is high in the mountain- and therefore a car is a must. There was also a rooster who starts his day at 6 in the morning....

Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum! Wunderschöne Aussicht über die Bucht und dahinter hat man gleich Urwald Feeling. Alles notwendige ist vorhanden. Auch die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Bei heißem Wetter zieht es, durch die erhöhte Lage, angenehm kühl durch die Wohnung. Die Gastgeberin Conny ist sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause.

Notre hôte, Connie est vraiment super accueillante et gentille ! Elle nous a donné de super bons plans pour la visite de la ville ! L'emplacement du logement est tout simplement magnifique et permet de profiter à la fois du calme de la montagne mais aussi d'une superbe vue sur la Mer 🥹. C'est un bel endroit très propre et reposant ! Je recommande vivement !

Wir hatten das Appartement im ersten Stock, welches über eine Treppe erreichbar ist. Das Appartement hat alle wichtigen Einrichtungen, incl. deutschem Fernsehen (wir hatten jedoch höchstens mal Nachrichten auf ZDF geschaut). Für mehr hat man ja Internet. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass das Internet bisweilen nicht so schnell war, aber insgesamt jedoch immer alles machbar war, auch Fotos schonmal Zuhause ablegen. Alles war bei der Ankubft vorbereitet. Die Vermietrin wohnt nebenan, lässt aber ihre Gäste in Ruhe, was sich aber n icht in der hervorragenden Freundlichkeit niederschlägt. Insofern vielen Dank an Conny. Das Appartement liegt am Berg und bietet dadurch eine schöne Aussicht auf den Ort und das Meer. Insofern lädt die Terrasse des Appartements zum Verweilen ein. Durch die Berglage ist ein Mietauto empfehlenswert, da es bisweilen ein relativ steiler Aufstieg ist (wer nicht gut zu Fuß und ohne Auto ist, sollte sich was Anderes suchen!). Wer auf Praslin einen Mietwagen hat, sollte ein sicherer Fahrer sein. Von der Straße abkommen, mündet in den meisten Fällen in ein Umkippen des Autos, da die Straßen oftmals durch ein Graben eingesäumt sind, es enge Serpentinen gibt und manchmal auch Engstellen. Ich habe jedoch nie einen Unfall gesehen. Die Einheimischen fahren zwar manchmal etwas unkonventionell aber immer rücksichtsvoll (außer die blauen Busse!!!). Auf den kompletten Seychellen ist Linksverkehr, die Autos sind Rechtslenker, auch die Mietwagen. Die Strände der Insel sind alle sehenswert. An manchen werden Algen angeschwemmt, da würde man eher nicht so gut liegen. Es gibt aber mehr als genug geeignete Strände. Manchmal sind an den Stränden nicht Kiesel, sondern Korrallereste, auf die man nicht unbedingt barfuß treten muss. Das ist aber kein wirkliches Problem. Ich hatte den Einfruck, dass es sich am Strand um Korrallenreste handelt. Stachelrochen waren auch kein Problem, die sind wohl eher auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Insel (so etwa beim Kitespot) zu finden.

Man bekommt was man bucht, insofern war alles wie erwartet.

L’appartement est super bien équipé avec un lit de 2m de large et super confortable. C’est très très propre il n’y a rien à redire. Les poubelles sont faites tous les jours. Les propriétaires sont d’une grandes gentillesse, très accueillants et donne de supers conseils. Franchement cet appartement est top avec un grand balcon avec table et en plus deux fauteuils relax, c’est top pour observer la belle vue !

L’emplacement, l’appartement est dans la montagne, il y a une route qui y monte mais qui est très pentue. Cependant les propriétaires proposent de nous descendre ou de nous monter à n’importe quel moment de la journée et cela par gentillesse ! Donc l’emplacement c’est à le prendre en compte mais ce point est aussi vu en positif vu l’aide apporté !

The roads in Praslin are very narrow so it is difficult driving on the opposite side of the street on the hills.

Appartamento mansardato molto bello, arredato con gusto, ben attrezzato e tenuto con cura. Pulizia da 10 e lode! Connie è una padrona di casa gentile, molto presente e disponibile. Struttura sicura, posizionata in collina in una tranquilla zona residenziale, con una bella vista sulla baia.

Niente, tutto positivo! Unico neo, la strada per arrivare e’ un po’ stretta e in parte ripida per i turisti abituati a guidare dall’altro lato, ma si tratta solo di 5/10 minuti di guida. Guidate piano ;)

Lejligheden er dejlig rummelig og ren. Udsigten er smuk og det ligger roligt på toppen af bakken. Connie vores vært er fantastisk til at hjælpe og komme med gode råd. Hun sørger for at hendes gæster har det godt og ikke mangler noget.

Det ligger på toppen af en stejl bakke, men vi havde ikke noget imod den daglige træning. Vi kunne lide alt ved vores ophold.

L’appartement très propore et confortable , très bien placé pour la côte d’or beach (anse volbert), vous avez pas mal de restaurants , food bus pas loin de la maison . Connie ( la propriétaire) est juste géniale , accueillante, très gentille et serviable elle nous a aidé avec les réservations pour le restaurant les lauriers et Anse Georgette . Elle donne pas mal de recommandations pour la visite de l’île. Je vous recommande vivement de séjourner ici ! Allez y les yeux fermés .

Sinceramente ottimo. La casa é grande, grandissima, con letto king size e divano e poltrona. Pulitissima e profumata, a livelli di eccellenza Cucina super attrezzata con microonde e utensili. Ottimo bagno con doccia nuova molto grande e attenzione, bidet! Prese europee in dotazione, tanta roba! Bellissima vista mare (anche se eravamo al piano terra; la camera sopra penso sia ancora meglio). Posizione pazzesca a 10 minuti dal supermercato e dai migliori locali dell’isola, senza contare che é letteralmente dietro Anse Volbert che è un paradiso (ogni sera obbligatorio passeggiata in spiaggia dalle 17 alle 1830) Zona super tranquilla e silenziosa. In diverse recensioni abbiamo letto di questa salita problematica ma 1) praislin e tutta così, vedrete se andrete a fond Ferdinand 2) dopo poche volte ci si abitua; noi siamo scesi sia a piedi sia in auto a noleggio, easy. Poi ci sono bei orti e si è lontano da caos. La proprietaria Connie parla benissimo italiano é una forza della natura ci ha aiutato per tutte le gite e anche fatto alcune telefonate per aiutarci. Sinceramente ci mancherà! Ciao Connie!!

Das Apartment war super schön und vor allem sehr sauber, die Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend und total offen und freundlich. Auch die Küche und sämtliche Kochutensilien waren sehr sauber - die Ausstattung der Küche war für eine Ferienwohnung auch super. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen.

Aufgrund der Lage am Hügel, sollte man eher ein Auto haben. wir hatten keines, aber unsere Hosts haben uns immer wieder angeboten, dass sie uns gerne in den Ort fahren oder abholen können. Also auch ohne Auto gut möglich.

Vue imprenable sur l'anse Volbert et sur la forêt tout autour. Connie et son mari nous ont accueillis chaleureusement. Connie a été disponible à tous moments et de bons conseils. Great apartment located near our the beautiful Anse Volbert Beach (our favourite). Incredible sweet hostess who helps to book restaurants and give great tips. Would definitely recommend this place for Praslin.

The apartment is located at the top of a very steep hill. No problem if renting a car, but not ideal otherwise.

Beautiful property in a great location. The inside was so clean, new, nicely decorated and maintained. The host was amazing.

We enjoyed the hospitality and how responsive our host Connie was. The view of the beach every morning was also a highlight of our stay here. The cleanliness of the apartment was second to none. The different fruits Connie would leave us throughout our stay was a fun treat to return back to after a day at the beach. We really liked the steep hill walk back to the apartment. It helped us stay more active.

Only thing we could possibly think might have been better is having ac in the living area and not just in the bedroom. However, it’s not to be said that we didn’t like it.

View was lovely and the apartment was spacious and clean. We enjoyed being in it but it was not what we expected- it was very much a rural mountain retreat, not very private.

Apartment was very far from Anse Volbert. Not at all walkable and a very steep and tricky drive up which even for experienced drivers caused problems if you met someone coming the other way. It felt stressful coming and going from the apartment because of this. Would have been nice to have shower gel and aircon was only in the bedroom.

The hosts are phenomenal - very responsive leading up to the stay and helped us with logistics/reservations throughout. Provided excellent recommendations and insider tips around the island. The room had a great view and was very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vista D’Oro. Connie kindly had the balcony room ready for us where we enjoyed eating our breakfast and dinner looking out over the sea. The accommodation was very clean, the kitchen well-equipped and the bedroom comfortable and with good working air conditioning. Thank you for our stay.

The drive up to the accommodation is very steep but worth it for the views! It might be tricky to access without a car though.

The view was amazing. We stayed at the first floor and still- every day we woke up with stunning views. The host was amazing lady,she share all the information upon arrival and the room always was clean. There had everything You need! The house is located at beautiful beach with white fine sand.

That I needed to leave. And It's not that I didn't like it, but mark if You want to see nice views You need to be ready that the road goes up.to the hill- it was a challenge for the first time,but I used to it quickly.

Outstanding view, super clean and modern, excellent hosts

It’s hard to go around if you don’t have a car

The apartment and the view are perfect. Everything is clean. Connie can book for you activities of restaurant and suggest visits such as fond ferdinand. She is very friendly and shared a papaya from her garden and food from her daughter's birthday.

The way to go to the villa is not easy, you need a car if you are not sporty but this is the balance to have the view so not really a bad. Maybe a soap for hands in the bathroom will be good.

Connie was a very lovely & caring host. We were very happy with all the facilities in the apartment. The apartment is located on the hill and we did not rent a car. It was worth to go up that way everyday for the amazing view from her apartment. I loved all of our breakfasts there in her balcony where you can hear ocean, birds chirping in the morning. On our first day, Connie brought us Papaya :) it felt really good after a very long flight

The host - Connie is such a sweet lady. She gives all the valuable information you need, and is helpfull with everything that you've might need. Would definitely stay here again. The altitude difference is real, but for me it was a good hike with a bit of cardio training 👍.

Everything was amazing, Connie is a great host. If you reading this before your final trip plans for Seychelles my honest advice is to stay here as longer as you can and enjoy in Praslin because everything is better on this island.

Not a negative point,just important to know. A car is advisable due to the location being a bit further up (the view ;) )..but this i would advise anyway when being on praslin to save time and see more

The apartment is immaculately presented, super clean, very spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent air conditioning and ceiling fans, a powerful shower and to top it all off the position of the apartment means you have sea views to the front and Mountain View’s at the back. It really is a true paradise, a car is essential to explore praslin and to make your way up to the top of the hill where the apartment is positioned. The apartment is in a great location to explore the beautiful island, nice takeaway options nearby. We can not thank Connie and her family enough for their hospitality and kindness during our stay, great recommendations for things to see and do and will organise any tours you want to do. Our airline emirates lost all of our luggage on the way to Seychelles. Connie gave us some essentials and went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was not ruined. We had no idea when and if our luggage would arrive. Connie and family were notified on our third day that our bags had arrived, they drove all the way to the airport to collect them and deliver them to us. We were so relieved and thankful to them! Absolutely amazing hosts and a wonderful apartment to stay it. Thank you!

The location almost definitively need a car, it is a very steep and winding road up!

The apartment is nicely equipped and is very spacious. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The bed was nice, the air con was super new and perfectly working. Bathroom was spacious as well. There are many utensils in the kitchen. There is also a veranda with seats and a table. From the apartment you have a beautiful view over the Cote D'Or beach. The host is friendly and helpful. Information: It was a little bit hard to find the flat and google maps seem to put the mark on the wrong position on the map. I uploaded a picture of the street, which goes up from the main road: It is the road where the signs for "Mango Lodge" and in the opposite the "Berjaya Resort" are visible. Do not take the other roads from the main road, it will lead you somewhere else. Take the road up (it is steep) and follow for around 300m and there is the flat.

There could be a small soap or soap liquid in the bathroom. There was shower gel, but nothing for washing hands. TV did not really work (or maybe I could not start it properly).

The property is so clean and so modern, with a great view on the sea. Beautiful place and lovely host with Connie sharing her tips and addresses, and her husband who drove us to the Ferry station on the way back. The place is really big which was ideal for us since we faced a lot of rain in Praslin.

Worth noting: the place is located at the top of a hill. We didn’t have a car so had to walk all the way up and down each day. Totally feasible but to have in mind when it’s 35 degrees

Perfect location to explore the island. Connie was amazing, helped us sort out car hire and was always available if needed. I would strongly recommend a car as the hill is very steep to walk up. Facilities in the apartment were fabulous and good quality. The size and decor of the rooms were also great with perfect view of the sea. There is nothing I would change, thanks for a wonderful stay Connie!

Wonderful stay in a unique very clean and well equipped apartment overlooking the bay of Anse Volbert. I felt like I was in a family, lovely owner, who makes your stay easy with lots of information about the island. Very generous owner, who makes anything possible for you . She.offers a pick up so you don't have to walk up the steep hill. She brought even fruits and a bottle of wine around .my Appartement. I really appreciated this treatment In the end Connie, the owner brought me to the jetty.. I really enjoyed staying in Vista d' Oro and I would definitely stay there again if I return to Praslin.. Thanks to Connie I loved it😍😍
