We liked everything
Big kitchen Close to the city center Nice view
Bathrooms could be better and it would be nice to have a big towel per person
Beautiful location Perfect for us 6 adults and 2 young ones a toddler and infant with 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms Good sleep- very comfortable beds Provision of towels for all of us. The owner provided most basiscs to keep you going ie kitchen stuff & cleaning, toilet rolls bin bags ect- really helpful. Location - 5/10 minute drive from the lovely Donegal Town. So many beautiful beaches within 10-30 minute drive. Dog friendly- took our brown labrador he loved the countryside walks and beaches. Meals out- Went to Harveys Point for the Sunday cavery absolutely wondeful. McCafferties Pub in Donegal great food & lovely atmosphere. Shopping Lidl and Aldi in Donegal town has everything you need food & drink wise, at good prices.
It would be perfect if you could provide TV with Sky, Netflix and childrens channels as we were home at the farmhoude most evenings after days out. I brought a box full off DVDs & left them for future Guests to enjoy. 🥰
Lovely country house with plenty of room for a family of 6. Beds very comfortable. Host very nice and friendly. Great place to stay.
Everything
Nothing
Great location, big house plenty of room for all family. A nice Irish vacation. Lovely scenery.
Lovely old stone building very clean and catered for all our needs
Nothing great to stay for our family whilst attending our nephews wedding
Such a quiet and peaceful location, and only a ten-minute drive into Donegal town center. The house is spacious and had everything we needed.
WiFi isn’t very strong—I think it has some difficulty penetrating the stone walls between the kitchen and the sitting room / front bedroom.
Very comfortable great location
Had everything we needed for our stay
, needed a good clean , showers a disaster …
L ensemble c'était très jolie , au calme. On a adoré , même nos enfants on apprécie cette maison.
Spacious house near Donegal Town. It was great for our group of 5 people. Big kitchen, comfy beds and 3 toilets with showers. Although only 10 mins from Donegal Town it is quite remote, so you definitely need a car. The views are stunning and we loved that it was remote.
The decor is dated but we didn’t mind as clean and comfortable. If I was being picky I’d say the living room fits 6 comfortably, it was fine for us but would be a tight squeeze if 8 people were there.
Lovely quiet location. Beautiful views
A few queries on arrival once the heat was on the house was welcoming and the host came and sorted out all our queries.
Great location. Peaceful and quiet, but near to Donegal town itself.
Looked lovely from outside.
Dirty, brown water in shower, sheets seemed unwashed, lots of rubbish in presses. Felt manky and unwashed .
Fantastic host great location. Beautiful house week went too fast
Nothing
The space for four adults and four children was great. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels etc. I have limited mobility and just used the ground floor with was great, with the bedroom and shower room all on the ground floor. The owner, Eileen, couldn’t not have been more helpful, and was very quick to respond to any questions.
Nothing really.
Lovely house just a few miles from Donegal town. Plenty of bedrooms, good kitchen and comfortable living areas.
Nothing, all very good
Location, landscape surrounding house, animals
There was no major problems
Big, well equipped kitchen. Cozy living-room.
Small double beds (135cm I guess), small-ish bedrooms. Convoluted heating control, we had to keep turning it on as every now and then it would turn itself off. So when you feeled the chill during the night, you had to go out of bed, walk downstairs, turn heating on again, and endure the cold until the house started warming up again. Internet was patchy.
Lovely cottage. Super clean and comfy. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay
Plenty space and parking. Lots of help with baby eg travel cot/ baby gates/ high chair. Dog friendly.
Took a while to heat and was hard to control the heat. WiFi wasn’t great, although Eileen was responsive when trying to sort it. Bathrooms could do with a reseal. A mat at the doors would help too - wet weather made the flooring slippy.
The location was calm and peaceful without having to worry about any loud noises. The house wasn't cold with or without the heating on.
Lovely big house, very comfortable for a group of people. Bedrooms were spacious & beds were very comfortable. Nice kitchen dinner with all amenities. Lovely location in the middle of countryside. The proprietor Eileen was very helpful. We will look forward to staying again in future.
We all like everything about the house & our visit to Donegal 💯
Clean and very comfortable with a great view. I was impressed by how comfortable the beds were!
It’s a typical old Irish house so you need to turn on heat and water heater but don’t expect the rooms to be warm in a couple of minutes. It’s not an issue for 90% of people like us but some might see it as annoying. It will still be hot the time you find your rooms and put all your baggage inside.
Good location and excellent service
Internet connection was poor in the sitting room and upstairs
The way to the property is not very good.
House was immaculate Eileen was a real lady
Location
Not enough toilet paper showers were too small.
Lovely house with great facilities. Stunning views and so peaceful and tranquil.
The cottage is very comfortable and the view is absolutely stunning. Fantastic location, very short drive to Donegal town, very private with a countryside feel and experience.
Nothing.
So peaceful and quiet. Host was lovely to deal with. Comfortable and large house, suitable for families. Beautiful views. Only 10 mins out of the town.
Had a great time, only thing I would say is the road leading to the house is narrow and bumpy, not suitable for a nervous driver. Thankfully I wasn’t driving so all was okay!
It's such a beautiful house, great space, very clean and downstairs is accessible for anyone with mobility issues
Nothing, it was so lovely
This place is a dream house. I was really hoping for an Irish country setting and it fulfilled that desire to the T. It's setting is unbelievable and so very quiet. Close enough to Donegal (my favorite Irish town) and yet set apart by being out in the country.
Self Catering
There is nothing not to like!
Interior dated by still comfortable and location was beauiful
Pine View was so wonderful! So clean and homey! Eileen was an absolute joy! The views were beautiful! Close to Donegal Town. It was perfect for the 3 of us! I can't wait to return!
Everything was fabulous!
We loved the house and location, so peaceful and the views were fantastic
We loved everything about this house , no negatives at all
Location, very nice house, great view.
Lack of water pressure, floors were sticky…maybe not rinsed well??
Lovely and amazing place, perfect spot to enjoy west coast around Donegal. Fully recommend!
Lovely views. Comfortable house.
You can't stay here without a car. Also, the garden area isn't fenced off so we weren't comfortable leaving our dog off-leash.
The house was lovely, very clean and the views were beautiful. Perfect spot for families Rosnowlagh beach is quite close and it's very accessible, beach wheelchair available at the beach .The older kids enjoyed swimming and fishing at mountcharles pier. I loved the views from the back of the house if I didn't have so many kids with me I would have sat there all day with a book . All in all pine view was comfortable and beautiful and would love to return.
Donegal,s weather is unpredictable,I think it would be wise to invest in wetsuits ,the beaches are too beautiful not to enjoy. And teenagers love to surf.
beautiful house in a scenic area. fantastic views. Very clean.
A bit away from town, up a small windy road but nothing bad really.
Property was situated away from the city but still near enough. The view was excellent. Swings in the back were great! Kids enjoyed it.
The Wi-Fi speed could have been better and there could be more games for kids to play.
