Great location, spotlessly clean, and lovely hosts.
LA GENTILLESSE ET LA DISPONIBILITE DU PROPRIETAIRE
The host Sean was very friendly and welcoming. Cottage was beautiful with a well equipped kitchen & spacious bedrooms. Great quiet location across the road from the Greenway & on the road to Croagh Patrick. You could walk into town or to the Quay.
The weather..ha, ha ..but nobody's fault! Maybe could privide a coat hook for our wet coats. Nothing to dislike, would recommend the Cosy Cottage & hope to return.
Had a lovely stay at the cottage excellent communication from Claire and Sean place was spotless had everything we needed in an excellent location for our stay.
Everything.
Nothing
Clean, well kept, easy check out, close to town, owner very easy to communicate and work with.
Weather was warm so upstairs rooms were warm at night but there was a fan provided. Both bathrooms are upstairs. Dining area consists of a small round table with two chairs and four stools at the breakfast bar that doubles as counter space. Workable for 4 people, but would be tight for 6.
Great location and had everything we needed including the teabags and milk which was much appreciated on arrival.
Easily reachable. Rather quiet despite nearby R335 road. Nearby sheep. Supermarkets good reachable by car.
Dining table is very small, Many plates are too big for the dishwasher. Despite not mentioned there is a hair dryer.
An exceptional Cottage with all the amenities. It was warm and cosy. We were provided with milk and spices to begin our stay. Bed were great and so were the showers. Sheep right outside the door.

The host was very pleasant and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

This cottage is a lovely quiet but convenient place to stay. The host was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend it
Nothing.
Beautiful house on sheep farm. Owner showed us his lambs! Liked that the bike/ walking trail was just across the street.
The most challenging thing was being allergic to their laundry soap. It was highly perfumed and made my husband skin itchy. Also the bath tub did not work which was a shame.
The accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Very clean and very friendly
Warm and cosy weekend retreat for 6. So comfortable. Warm welcome. Beautifully restored house. Kitchen very well equipped. Cosy stove in evening a real bonus. Walking distance to town. Easy to get cab if you want to go further afield. Highly recommend!
Nothing!
Location Wood burning stove
The cottage is in a great location and the hosts are fabulous. Very helpful.
House was spacious, clean and comfortable with access to walking/bike track at the entrance!
The property was excellent. Two bathrooms, efficient washing machine and kitchen. Great view of Croagh Patrick. Easy to light wood fire.
Upon arrival, we were met by the hostess Claire. Who gave us a very warm welcome and alot of information about the cottage and the local area. The cottage is perfect for families and couples as it is cozy and warm, clean and bright. Lots of natural light upstairs and lots of space in the bedrooms. A well equipped kitchen which allows you to cook hot meals when you decide to stay in for the night. Our favourite feature of the cottage was the wood burning stove which was lovely and atmospheric, especially at night.
The beds were a little bit to narrow for two people.
Was perfect location and hosts were lovely.
The TV couldn't get live tv channels
My friends and I stayed here for Sea 2 Summit . The location was excellent, walking distance to Westport . Sean & his partner were amazing hosts and made us feel very welcome . They also let us put our bikes in their trailer to dry off after the race . The cottage was so cute with a gorgeous open fire . We had beautiful views is Croagh Patrick . It was so warm & cosy and amazing value . Would highly recommend.
This cottage is just like a home away from home! The weather wasn't extremely kind to us but it didn't matter as the cottage was so well insulated with central heating & a stove fire!! Location was perfect and only a short walk into town. Taxi home after a night out was only €10 :-) As for the cleanliness it was second to none and i'm a bit OCD!! Thanks so much Claire & Sean - hope to revisit in the near future!
Not really anything but if i had to really nit pick, a drop of milk would have been lovely as we were dying for a cuppa after our 3.5hr drive! LOL! FYI there was tea, coffee, sugar, oil spices, and a lot of the essentials supplied which was great!!!
All very clean, new. Perfect location, walking distance to the town
The house is a beautifully renovated cottage. We loved the feel and style of the house. The path into Westport was great for walking in and out safely
Great location, welcoming host, cosy and comfortable with everything we needed

The house was perfect for our purpose. The facilities are excellent, and our host,Sean, is the most attentive

Cleanliness, cozy, easy access to attractions, very comfortable
La amabilidad del anfitrión y la casa
A very clean and cosy cottage. It was a perfect base for us to explore the local area on foot and by car. The Greenway gives great access to walk to the city and the Quay area, which we did every day. After a busy day exploring and eating good food the cottage was the perfect place to come back to rest and relax. Highly recommend.
Excellent location. Lovely host. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and cosy. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.
The cottage is on Rural Road 335 and directly across from the Great Western Greenway- walk or bike to Westport. It is updated, more roomy than the pictures or description of cozy imply, and a lovely place to stay for a few days or longer. It is also soundproof and full of light! The owner is a sheep farmer and lives next door. He greeted us and gave us a tour of the cottage and provided lots on local information. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Westport has so much to offer.
no issues
Our hosts, Sean and Clare, were so accommodating and thoughtful. The cottage was so spacious and well appointed, it exceeded our expectations. I can only thoroughly recommend the property, the people and the place. A genuine highlight of our month in Ireland.
Everything was fantastic.
The quiet location just outside the town was wonderful The house was well appointed and very comfortable. The host Sean was friendly and very keen to assist with any answers to questions we had. [Perhaps explain the reference number for the google map directions in the initial text to poor Australians as we got lost but it was sorted in a few minutes.... this was our first experience of this for directions! Sean was an expert in knowing where we were and came to fetch us! The lambs were adorable. The beds were very comfortable Bathroom excellent and hot water good. Kitchen was well appointed. The greenway provided an easy walk into Westport 10 mins
Having to leave and not stay for a whole week as it is a wonderful set up and Westport is a great little town /area
Sean met us as we arrived and gave us helpful info about our place and the town of Westport. Very friendly and helpful.
It was really so lovely—huge bedrooms, cool skylight windows, a washing machine, a TV with Netflix access, spotless bathrooms and a free place to park! Minutes to town👍
Perfect location, outside of town so nice and quiet but only a quick walk via the greenway into Westport (or to the coast). House was lovely, lots of space and well-appointed. Owner lived nearby so any issues were taken care of quickly. It was lambing season too so adorable scenery.
Nothing.
Beautiful cottage in the perfect location for touring the West of Ireland. Sean is a terrific host who was always available to answer any questions.
How clean it was and the location and proximity to the town. It was very cosy and warm and great to have wifi and smart TV.
No microwave. That's all!
Perfect location to explore Westport and beyond. Well appointed, clean, and excellent hosts.
Everything was wonderful
Very cosy, extremely clean and walking distance from Westport town.
Beautiful cottage, great location and exceptional host! We had a storm and no power but Sean came with candles, a firelog and plenty of logs to light the fire and make the cottage cosy for us. Best host ever! We will be back and would highly recommend staying here if visiting Westport.
Nothing at all, everything was perfect.
Great location for short walk into town, well equipped, friendly host, clean and warm.
Everything. Wonderful upbeat atmosphere. Ideal locale. Tasteful and spotless. Very comfortable.i
A little milk in the fridge would havd meant we could have had thatmuch needed cuppa after our long journey
A microwave in the kitchen would have been useful.
This cottage is beautiful it has all the mod cons but is very traditional and spacious. Sean is a wonderful host and we would definitely stay again.
Nothing it was perfect.
Beautiful cottage in wonderful Westport with exceptional hosts. Highly recommended!
Beautiful accommodation, cottage was spotless, very spacious and great location, Sean was a great host, will be back here in the future again
A gem of a house that really felt like home for our short stay in Westport. Ideally located on the road towards Muirisk, but only 15 mins walk along the greenway to the centre of Westport town. The cottage was excellently equipped with everything we needed- cosy, spotlessly clean and really comfy double beds. It was lovely to have the garden bench outside too to enjoy the beautiful trees and glimpses of Croagh Patrick. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful, we really felt at home. We would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to anyone travelling in the Westport area.
Nothing!
Very nice host, very comfortable rooms and great location. The house was just off the greenway so could walk into westport along the greenway which was great. The host was very helpful if we needed anything at all.
Beautiful cottage...spotless...very comfortable..all mod cons...easy walking to town and harbour
Great location, safe and close to the town
Nothing really, host was great too
Cottage, location x grounds were lovely
No downstairs toilet for downstairs bedroom x no microwave
A beautiful cottage but still plenty of space. Host was great. Taxi drivers were very helpful getting in and out to the town.
Spacious cottage, 3 bedroom with double beds, one of them en suite. Great for a family or friend group holiday. Very close to town, it takes 10 minutes to get there walking and the cycling path in on the other side of the road. We came with our own bikes so we hardly used the car. Helpful hosts. We had a great stay.
Loved the cleanliness and the facilities of the property, it had everything we needed, Sean the host was very friendly and accommodating, location perfect and a gorgeous property
Nothing at all
Very good location. There is a bicycle path next to the cottage, along which you can walk to Westport in 15 minutes. The cottage has everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Cleanliness 11 points out of 10 It was very warm and cozy inside. Thank you Sean and Claire
The bedrooms were big spacious and the beds very comfortable. the surroundings were just delightful and an easy walking path across the road. only 10 minutes drive from Westport. Host next door or quick to answer text.
Could not fault anything.
Absolutely everything! Clean, quaint, close to town. And the host absolutely friendly and accomadating. Would love to stay again.
That our stay was only 2 nights. There is not one thing my friends and I could say that was negative about our experience. Enchanting.
Lovely place to stay with really nice owners. Cottage was spotless and very comfortable
lovely clean and comfortable
nothing
The cottage was well fitted out and was very comfortable for our trip.
Great location near town. Immaculate property.
The hot water situation was fine but took a little planning/getting used to.
Well located regards to Westport. shower in ensuite was great. Lovely having a real fire. Very homely. Good sized rooms and comfy beds. It was so quiet even through we close to a busy road.
There was no downstairs' toilet. My mum found it difficult managing stairs. Missed a microwave. there was no stopper in sink to wash dishes.
Fantastic property that was very central to Westport town. Cottage has its own garden and drive. Great hosts. Definitely recommend it.
Cottage was excellent in a great location for town. Roomy and good facilities. Owners were lovely and very helpful. All in all a great place to stay!
No complaints at all..
Beautiful comfortable cottage. Great location . Loved it!
Brilliant cottage and location
location is great and it was spotless
I have not one bad thing to say about this property
We had a lovely stay, family 2 adults and 2 kids, everything was perfect, really clean and comfortable. Location lovely and quiet and only a few minutes drive in to Westport town.
Nothing!
great location, beautiful home & lovely host
Great location, great host and lovely home.
Nothing
The cottage was idyllic and just a nice distance from Westport town. With the greenway (for walkers/cyclists) just across the road, we enjoyed walking to the quay and the town centre without being near the traffic on the main road. It was also very convenient to Croagh Patrick. Sean & Claire were very friendly, and most helpful when we ran into difficulties (not with the cottage by the way!)
