Reviewed Jun 3, 2025Very central for all our excursions. Had all the home from home feel, very spacious and fully equipped with all the essentials. Very clean, towels and washing essentials covered. If you forgot something from home it was surely there. Was very surprised and happy with everything. Definitely a return stay next year as we head to our beautiful West Coast of Ireland for further exploring. Thanks Mary and Frank. The Tallon's

The corner house was perfect for our stay, comfortable, and everything you need was there, exceptionally clean , mary, our host, was there to welcome us. Would definitely recommend it for anyone travelling west , and we would go back again. People are very friendly in this beautiful scenic town.

Newport itself is lovely with a playground across the road from the corner house that the kids loved to visit each evening and plenty of walking routes and the greenway on the doorstep. Lovely welcome from the hosts and the house was clean, comfortable and well equipped with the local shop conveniently next door. All in all a perfect stay.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2024We traveled as a family to the area, to see relatives. This was a perfect spot allowing easy access to Newport but also allowing family to visit us. Looking forward to bringing the grandkids here one day. Plenty of room. Small supermarket next door.

We had a bit of difficulty understanding the heating and the house for very warm, not helped by the hot weather. But it was not a bad problem to have…we just switched it all off!

Lovely hosts who also left a nice touch of fresh flowers and treats for the kids. Would highly recommend and if/when visiting Mayo again, would definitely try to rebook. Location is perfect.
