El alojamiento está bien, nos cambiaron a otro que estaba al lado ya que estaban de obras, y la habitación muy bien y comoda. Desayuno Irish incluido ] estupendo.

la tv no funcionaba. Nos pareció es muy caro para ser un alimento básico. Supongo que por la fecha de verano se aprovechan.

We didn't stay in walshes as they had double booked so we were sent to another b&b but told to come back to them for breakfast so don't know too much. Breakfast was nice a bit manic one girl run off her feet taking orders but she did a great job and smiled through it all.

Great location, helpful staff and great value

My clients were staying in Westport Accommodation very expensive so Newport was convenient and no problem with parking and only 15 mins from westport

The location was great. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

The time of breakfast was later than expected and what was stated on the welcome book. The carpet and duvet cover had stains on them but overall the room did look clean and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. There was no tea or coffee facilities. Walls very thin as I was awoken at all hours buy the next rooms TV.

Les petits déjeuners étaient complets. L'équipe a gentiment accepté de garder nos vélos dans un local sécurisé. Les lits sont plutôt grands et la chambre aussi.

L’isolation phonique des chambres laisse à désirer. Notre sommeil a été perturbé par le programme télévisé du voisin ainsi que ses ronflements.

Pokud také máte rádi tento typ ubytování, nahoře pokoj, dole hospůdka, je to přesně to, co hledáte. Večer můžete zajít dolů do restaurace na šálek čaje zdarma, nebo na sklenici Guinnessu. Snídaně byla také výborná.

Die liebenswerte Aufmerksamkeit uns zu bedienen mit ausgewähltem Frühstück, jeder nach seinem Wunsch. Herzlichkeit und Wärme haben uns erfreut. Nur zu empfehlen für einen Aufenthalt in Newport.

Bed sheets unclean and I spotted Silverfish. A silverfish (Lepisma saccharinum) is a wingless, nocturnal, silver-grey insect that's harmless to humans — it doesn't bite, sting, or carry disease — but it chews holes in cotton, linen, paper, cardboard, and any starch-rich fabric stored in dark, humid spaces. They thrive at relative humidity above 75% and turn up most often in bedrooms, bathrooms, basements, and bookshelves

The room was clean and the breakfast was hearty, especially the delicious rashers. Portions were big and food was tasty.

Good location for day trips, good Irish breakfast included. Generally clean and tidy with a nice bar to enjoy a drink and some craic.

Breakfast times were very late.Were couldn't get Breakfast until 9am which meant we lost about an hour and a half for sightseeing. The did put a tray in our room the 2nd day.The premises was very dated and could do with an upgrade which would make it an excellent place to stay.

Sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter in der Bar! Das Zimmer mit einfacher Ausstattung - vollkommen ausreichend. Gute Betten, in denen man sehr gut schläft. An manchen Stellen könnte es etwas sauberer sein - in meinem Zimmer wohnten zwei Spinnen mit Netz. Insgesamt zu empfehlen!

Dinner and breakfast were good, nice and very polite staff.

The room was cold and there was no way to turn on the heating during the night. Beds not very comfortable. The place needs a full refurbishment, very old looking room, bathroom and place in general. The staircase to get into the rooms is very old and dirty, bad smell coming up from the carpet. Wifi was maybe available but nobody provided the password and it was not written anywhere. Hairdryer was not in the room even though it was indicated as provided in the website.

The room was simply awful, the worst thing imaginable! My wife and I couldn't sleep because our backs hurt from the ruined mattresses that should have been thrown out a long time ago!

Stayed here many times over the years. Breakfast much better than previous stays however the rooms have not been redecorated for many years and look shabby. In addition simple things are not available or fixed e.g. toilet roll holder, mould around shower, no hooks to hang a wet coat or robe in the bathroom or room. No option for a double or king size bed just Twin rooms.

The overall location of Walsh's Bridge Inn was fantastic. I was staying close by for a wedding in a neighboring area. From the moment I walked in the door, the Staff and Landlord were constantly welcoming and were always offering my friend and I for help. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and served for a long time which gave more variety. The rooms were very clean and fresh looking and the decor was very vintage.

There wasn't a whole lot I could say I didn't like as I was only staying for a short period and coming back in short visits during my stay.

The breakfast was really good, had full Irish breakfast very good value. Our second time staying here.

The rooms could do with a bit of an update but for the price it’s very good

Na inspectie van de kamer zijn wij rechtsomkeer gegaan. De matrassen van de bedden waren doorgelegen, het was ronduit smerig, de dooie insecten lagen overal. De douche/badkamer idem. Aangezien ik deze reis voor de laatste keer met mijn zoon maakte vanwege mijn palliatieve ziekte en daardoor erg vatbaar ben voor bacteriën/virussen, durfden wij niet in zo'n smerige kamer te verbijven waarvan de bedden misschien 50 jaar geleden ooit waren aangeschaft. Bovendien was de prijs absoluut niet in verhouding: € 109,00. Terwijl wij een ander hotel vonden voor € 90 incl ontbijt met uitstekende en schone voorzieningen en een schone kamer en fatsoenlijke bedden. Na de eigenaresse hierop te hebben aangesproken heeft zij het bedrag van € 109.00 terug geboekt op mijn credit card.

Excellent breakfast, friendly locals and the staff were all exceptional, especially the young lady who checked us in and brought us breakfast in the morning. Also the lady from Brazil was chatty and friendly too. Good value.

Didn't know there was wi-fi available in the bedroom, but that could be my fault as didn't ask.

Very tired decor and facilities. No lift and was on top floor, would not have suited anyone less fit than myself. Carpet on stairs could do ith being hoovered or cleaned! Broken stool at desk in room.....almost fell off it. On street car parking only. No kettle /mugs in bedroom.

Walshs is a lovely B&B , well located in Newport. Comfortable beds, and perfectly adequate room for the price. Nice shower. Very nice breakfast. Staff very friendly. I will definitley return.

It’s location. The girl who served breakfast was nice.

I suspect the sheets were used. There was no chair in the room, glass in the ensuite, the bedroom smelled musty. Breakfast was not b&b standard.

The location was good. Pleasant staff,beautiful view and in the centre of the town.

The room was really cold when we arrived. We complained about it and the girl at the bar said it was on a timer and the heating will start soon. So we went out for more than an hour and went back to a colder room. Turned out that the heating was switched off, my husband is a handy man so he figured it out. The curtain rod has no stopper at both ends so when I pulled the curtain the rod fell but luckily it didn't hit my head.

Nice inn well located. The breakfast was excellent. The staff kind and professional. They have a comfy pub downstairs. Groceries shop across the street. You can park at the front door depending on schedule, or around the corner at all times. The place in clean. My room had a nice view of the river.

I stayed in room 1. The mattress on the bed next to the wall should have been disposed and replaced a while ago, it colapses under my weight which is 67kg. The electric shower, in room 1 like I said, did not warm the water enough. When set on hottest still provides for a slightly cold shower experience. I wish them a good winter season and inspiration with that mattress and e-shower

The breakfast was from 830am which was too late for me as I had to be in Wesport at 8am.. there has been no attempts to open the kitchen earlier, I was told there is a Centra across the road, see if you can get anything there. There was no hairdryer, no iron , no kettle, no cups, no teabags. The only time I had a shower the water was ice cold, the electric shower was faulty. The mattress was so old that it had a hole in it, it was like sleeping in a basket..

The staff were good.

A curtain rail was insecure . The toilet seat wasn't fixed properly, There wasn't a chair with a backrest in the bedroom, nor was it pssible to make a cup of tea in the room.

The hotel is right in the central part of town within walking distance of everything. The room was comfortable, the wife good, and it was clean. The breakfast was good in the morning and there is a bar on the bottom floor but I didn't hear any noise from it in my room,.

The room was good and I would stay there again.

Really friendly staff, got us settled immediately and explained everything well. We ate at the bar that evening and the food was delicious. For being a pub , Saturday night was a little loud but really not bad at all, and all was quiet by midnight. Breakfast was delicious also!

A few issues with the water pressure/temp for the shower, but that could have been because we used it in the evening, but everything else was good!
