Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Am besten hat uns das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis gefallen. Wer in Irland unterwegs ist, weiß wie schwierig es ist, eine bezahlbare Unterkunft zu finden. Bei Connor waren wir bestens aufgehoben. Er war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer hatte alles was man braucht. Die Lage war auch super, gleich am Fluss und nur 10 Auto Minuten von Westport entfernt. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Wir konnten bei der Ankunft auswählen ob wir ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett oder zwei Einzelbetten haben möchten. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist eher einfach ausgestattet, aber alles was nötig ist, war vorhanden. Badezimmer war völlig in Ordnung! Es gab eine Flasche Wasser und nette Gespräche. Die Ortsmitte ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Informationen zum Parkplatz und CheckIn vor Ankunft waren in Ordnung
Wir konnten die kleine Nachttischlampe nicht nutzen, weil wir keinen Schalter gefunden haben - Lag vielleicht aber an uns ;-)

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Great location- easy walk to everything we wanted to do. Conor, the host, contacted us ahead of our stay to make sure that we knew it wasn't fancy. He didn't know exactly when we'd get there but watched out for us and called to let me know we were headed the wrong way after we parked! He also made sure we knew in advance when the restaurants closed and where to get coffee. He was amazing and appreciated in every way!!
The rooms are small and simple, we were fine with that. Showers a bit tight if you are a large person.

The location is peaceful and convenient, with easy access to Achill Island, Westport, and nearby attractions. We had a good night's sleep, and overall it was excellent value for money.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen, nur gerade zwei 3 Minuten zu Fuss befindet sich 1 Bar, wo man ein gutes Essen bekommt.

Its very small, claustrophobic, good for 1 person but not for 2. Bed is very snall, not goood if you are tall. There is no room under shower, too small. Walls are thin, you can feel all building moving.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The location was picturesque as it was overlooking Clew Bay. It was a perfect location for doing the Greenway.and very central to amenities. It was quiet and very peaceful and Sharon was most helpful. Parking was easy. We were able to safely secure our bikes.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025Notte da incubo. Non mi è mai capitato di sentirmi minacciato o essere mandato a quel paese dal proprietario di una struttura alberghiera. Dalla mattina la proprietaria mi manda un messaggio chiedendomi l'orario di arrivo, le rispondo. Mi richiama nel pomeriggio ripetendomi la stessa cosa e mi dice che non è un problema se arrivo più tardi, ad ogni modo arrivo alle 19:45, in deroga concordata di 45 minuti. Gia avevo avuto impressioni negative dai colloqui telefonici ma vado avanti, ci incontriamo e mi dice dove poter cenare (ah dimenticavo mi dice anche di avermi cambiato camera perché non funzionava l'acqua calda a causa di un guasto causato dai precedenti ospiti). Vado a cena, torno e dopo una giornata voglio solo fare la doccia calda. E bene, non funziona. Le scrivo e inizia a innervosirsi quando io le avevo chiesto delucidazioni educatamente. Mi manda a quel paese incazzata come una belva e mi dice "addio e benedizione" in gaelico (ho i messaggi whapp salvati). Siamo in territorio estero e la mia ragazza comincia ad avere paura anche perché mi dice al telefono che avrebbe mandato il marito, sempre con fare minaccioso. Abbiamo dormito a malapena. A onor del vero il mattino dopo il marito, mentre lasciamo casa, si avvicina per scusarsi e mi sembra onesto e una gran brava persona (lo ringrazio anche per averci offerto la colazione per scusarsi a nome della moglie). Però abbiate pazienza, non sono i soldi a risolvere tutto e la moglie non mi ha piu scritto. Nemmeno nei peggiori posti dell'America latina mi sarei sentito così minacciato.

There was ample hot water and everything was clean throughout. The bed was comfy and the location can’t be beat. Had a really great time staying at Moorings Greenway.

Non è prevista la colazione. Inoltre abbiamo notato che a tarda sera veniva a mancare l'acqua calda in stanza.

Habitaciones pequeñas. Hay escaleras para el acceso. Check out a las once , aunque ello está generalizado en Irlanda, si bien siempre lo penalizamos en la puntuación.

È largo 70 cm e lungo 2 metri Le foto fanno sembrare i locali molto più grandi di quanto siano in realtà Rapporto qualità prezzo non corretto. Una camera del genere non può costare più di 100 eur visto che non c’è neppure la colazione

Reviewed Aug 13, 2025Le camere abbastanza spaziose anche se il bagno era decisamente piccolo, con doccia con la tenda. I letti sono alla francese quindi piccolini. E’ disponibile un bollitore con tazze e caffè solubile.
La proprietaria sorridente e disponibile, anche se un po’ troppo preoccupata del vicinato, per cui dovevamo stare attenti a dove parcheggiare e dovevamo fare assoluto silenzio.

Very clean and comfortable, well organised en suite room with kettle, tea, coffee, cups, milk, water jar and glasses and wee table and 2 chairs in bedroom and hanger rail and hangers hair drier, towels and handy shelves.The location along the estuary road is beautiful and peaceful. Many thanks to the kind and helpful hosts here!
A very loud snorer somewhere in the guesthouse but that was outside the control of the hosts!!! Minor point- towels ..could be more absorbant. A relaxing herbal tea option would be a nice addition to the beverage choice. But this is a clean, comfortable, very nice, friendly guesthouse in a beautiful quiet location yet so close to town. No breakfast included but town has Newport Hotel and Kelly's Kitchen serving good breakfast fare.
