Location is great for a family, spa pop was a bonus

Downstairs pellet fire did not work at all

This was a lovely house for a group of 4 couples. We had a room each - not quite even rooms unfortunately but we could see that from the pictures. The couple in the small room with the "Murphy" bed said it was comfortable (it is a double not a queen). The spa pool was great. The kitchen area was really good. Easy to have lots of us preparing food then a good big table for us all to sit at and a lounge at the other end. The chairs/couch in the lounge were good and comfortable. Good location just a few minutes walk into town.

Could have done with a few more plates but otherwise no complaints.

The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely views over the lake.

Only issue we had was with the oven, I think the fan may not be working properly.

Absolutely Nothing!!

Close to town, really clean, huge house with tons of room, spa was a bonus as was the outside fireplace.

A little bit dated, shower door in the main bathroom wouldn’t completely close and there was a broken footrest on a recliner. The main bedroom bed is very high off the ground.

Few things didn't work in spa bath

The location was fantastic, just a few minutes drive from the town. The area was nice and quiet which was great as we had young kids who went to bed early. The property was a good size for our family too.

Not much we didn't like - we are keen to stay there in the future.

This property is absolutely perfect, everything and more. Great hot tub, kitchen snd seating in the house.

Nice and quiet location. Only 5min drive into town and handy to activities. Well set up for family or friends group. Lovely views of the Lake and Mountains. Nice and warm house and comfortable beds.

A little foot stool for short people to manage to get into the high 4 poster bed in the master bedroom would be good to have available.

Great place to stay. We especially enjoyed using the lift after our legs were toast from the ultra marathon.

Only gripe is the spa bath wasn’t working in the main bedroom. We were told that they had only just found out but there was already a sign on the wall saying do not use.

Beautiful and clean, Great that we could have our own spaces with up/down living. The spa was great at the end of each long day and the beds were very comfortable. Really appreciated the washer and dryer - we were outside 3 days in terrible weather so it was a life saver

The spa bath in the master room was not able to be used which was really disappointing. Other than that only very minor maintenance things like bar stools needing repair, lights not working etc.

The space for a group, amenities and the spa!! Lovely big home and spacious with all of us in it.

There were no extra blankets in the event someone needed an extra layer which was the case for a few of our guests so they felt a bit cold. The downstairs pellet fire was a bit scary to use!!!!

The place was very spacious and really lovely as per the photos. It was great for our group booking of 4 couples. Heaps of space to spread out. The hot tub outside was great. House right at the end of a cul-de-sac. Would definitely come back to stay here!!

Asked for a slightly earlier checkin and was told we could be in there at 12:30 (extra 1.5 hours) for a fee of $55 which I thought was a bit silly

3 bathrooms and large rumpus/studio room is generous and easy living as a group. Great shower and space to ensuite. Spa pool is lovely and we used it regularly (although right next to one of the bedrooms) Great, quiet location at the end of a cut-de-sac. Lovely view of the lake and mountains. The lift was great for moving bags up/down from the garage/car to upstairs. Exceptional service from the team prior to stay.

Plenty of room for the extended family. Great layout with room for everyone to hang out together. Spa pool was enjoyed.

Great location, quiet and plenty of parking

Downstairs was cold in the main room. There was a pellet fire, but the only instructions were to turn on at the wall and this did nothing, and as nobody had any experience with a pellet fire, we did not know how to use it.

Loved the heat, kitchen facilities, lift and spa.

More hooks for hanging towels etc in bathrooms. Full length mirrors in bedrooms

The house was warm and cozy on arrival after a rainy day of travel. All the rooms had air conditioning to keep warm in the evening and colder mornings. So spacious even for our group of 8, everyone had their own space to relax either in the hot tub, the master bedroom with its own Jacuzzi or the two living rooms. The home had everything we needed and felt comfortable. The communication with the team was also prompt and informative. Thank you for having us!

Was a bit hard when all the doors were linked to some time of alert system. It mean we would wake others up if we wanted to have breakfast on the deck

It is a lovely large home, with great facilities, lots of room, and in a lovely place, with lovely views. It was the perfect spot for our large group on that weekend. Thank you.

The only thing that I can comment on that I didn't like, was that there is a sharp piece on one of the shower tiles in the downstairs ensuite, and unfortunately my son cut his toe on this.

The whole experience was exceptional. The property exceeded our expectations. Luxury at its best but still very relaxed and comfortable. Size of rooms and facilities was great.

the house is large ,clean and comfortable, well equipped, close to town. With 4 large bedrooms 3 bathrooms the kitchen dining lounge Facilities were much appreciated by our large group of 8 friends, would definitely stay again.

Spacious, clean and very well equipped. We were two family groups and there was plenty of room for us all with room to spare!

If I’m being nit picky, a lasagne dish would be helpful. But seriously there was nothing to dislike about this property.

The house is lovely, very clean and comfortable for the 6 of us. We liked that there are 3 big bathrooms. The kitchen is spacious and well stock. We enjoyed cooking in it and having meals together. We had a great stay and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

The dryer was not available during our stay.

If we were being super picky, one bed had quite a thin mattress, wasn't the same standard as the rest of the house.

House was lovely very spacious and the soap was awesome. Would definitely book again

There were no instructions on how to lock the door when we had to leave for the day. And everytime you opened a door the bell would go off which was a hindrance to other guests if you wanted to take a early morning jog. Also couldn't find extra bags for the bin and the pots and pans were all bad. Out food kept getting stuck the knives also need to be sharpened or replaced.

We love staying at this property! Great to have instructions on how to use the lounge fireplaces. The property is very spacious which allows you to have quiet time if needed or watch something different on TV. The dining table seats 10 allowing us to have dinner together before playing board games. The spa pool was lovely and relaxing and we enjoyed the lazy boy recliners and comfy sofas.

There was a strong curry smell when we arrived so even though it was cold, we had to air the place out. Despite the instructions we couldn't get the speakers to work. The neighbour's trees have grown quite a bit in the last 6 months and are beginning to obscure the lake views. The mattress fold out bed in the ground floor bedroom is rather hard and uncomfortable so relocated to a lazy boy for the night.

This is a lovely home on a quiet street. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we were close to hiking and shopping.

The place is spacious and the plus point is that it has a lift which we can transport our luggages to the second level.

Such a clean, spacious house. Close to town but also very quiet. Well appointed with comfortable beds and the spa was great.

All the pillows were very high, some lower pillows would have made our stay perfect.

Lovely clean and spacious, warm feeling to the home. Outdoor fireplace was perfect for roasting marshmallows and the spa bath and pool were both amazing! Washing machine and dryer were super handy. Entire family happy after our stay.

Not a dislike just a recommendation to install safety gates on the stair way for adventurous babies and toddlers :)

Loved every part of our accomodation, found it so welcoming and well equipped that we had planned to go out for breakfast and dinners that we went shopping to cook at home.. Besides the ICN competition NO ONE WANTED TO GO ANYWHERE, just relax, sleep, eat or have a turn in the spa pool and bath..

Emailed twice for bedding for the sofa beds as we were told to do, but when we arrived there was none.

The house was exactly what we needed for two families travelling together: loads of space, and the house had virtually everything you would need for a home away from home. a great location too - close to central Taupo and all of the good tourist spots. the spa was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the property was well stocked with towels and linen. We also really appreciated the good amount of dishwasher tablets and other cleaning and pantry basics at the property which you don’t always get at other properties. it really put this property at the top of our list of places to stay! The staff were very responsive to questions over the Easter weekend which was also very much appreciated- very good service.

We really loved it! The owners should consider buying some more dinner knives as there are not enough for big groups.

What an awesome property! It was exactly as pictured and provided everything we needed to enjoy a quiet relaxing break. The lift was a huge bonus and allowed those with mobility issues to move freely about the property and be part of everything going on. The property was very clean, the hydrangeas and roses are gorgeous and the information booklet was comprehensive. Would definitely book again.

Would suggest spraying the outside of house and outside furniture for spiders and having stair blockers available for people with babies.

There is plenty of space for everyone. Lots of outdoor space too. Close to town (3km walk) and local attractions.

Loved the cleanliness, the spa and the fact the kids had their own entertainment area. The area was super safe and kids could ride their bikes around. A mple space for the whole family.

The TV downstairs in the kids entertainment area wouldn't cooperate with us. Perhaps we just didn't know how to operate it? No big deal though. The upstairs TV offered Netflix etc which kept the little people occupied at times.

The beautiful views of the lake and the mountains. The beds were extremely comfortable. The elevator for our 82year old Mum was a real bonus. Plenty of seating for everyone including lots of lazyboy chairs. Nice and clean and very modern. Had a very welcoming feel as soon as we stepped through the door. Nice deck area. Plenty of space for all of us.

Couldn't figure out the TV....also one bed was too high for most of us oldies. Nothing major.
