I didn't have a car for my stay and this was a great location for a few days on foot- close to PakNsave, and close walking to town eateries. I stayed in a roomy one bedroom- it was great having that separate lounge instead of just a bed/TV in the same room.

I actually ended up staying 2 nights, then a separate stay for another night after my flight out was cancelled. I found the bed hard in the 2nd suite but the first suite it was perfect for me. It is an older facility- still comfortable but some minor maintenance could be done (e.g. clock was stopped in one of the suites, kitchen light appeared burned out in one of the suites).

The unit was in need of a much better clean. A deep clean! Curtains had what looked like food stuff splattered on them and dusty on top when pulled. The toaster past its time, it didn't pop up and full of crumbs. Toilet skirting and under door area dirty and lots of debris.

Handy to my work

Having an upstairs room. I had heavy bags and this meant stairs and a long walk to my room.

Good location for a function we were attending. Easy walk to shops. Motels are feeling dated but had everything we needed without any frills.

Handy location to town

We chose Chevron Motel due to its locality to the event centre we were attending. Unfortunately the motel staff rebooked us to another motel quite some distance away, without choice only 2-days prior to our arrival. Whilst we appreciate the rebooking so we weren’t left without somewhere to stay this is unprofessional service. We understand the actual owners of the complex required a booking and therefore took priority over other paying guests. This overall affected at least 8 guests - 3 units.

Location is the main attraction for us.

We were booked in but the heating was turned on in anticipation of our arrival. That was extremely disappointing as it took ages to warm the room.

Location super as my husband’s band played at the Cossie club.

Very close to the CBD and the bus station, at around 10 min walking. Welcoming and helpful woman at reception. Big rooms, clean and comfortable beds. Complete kitchen. Heating AC to keep the room warm is the best touch of the stay.

Was perfect for our trip, comfortable and warm. Plenty of hot water.

The shower was not as clean as it could have been - the area below the shower door to the shower tray looked like whoever did the cleaning hadn't realized that needed cleaning too. However, apart from that, very good. Believe it or not, the hot water was almost too hot! But not complaining about that although if there were small children you might want to watch it.

The location is great, 8 minute walk to the CBD

Some upgrades required. The hot water was excessively hot and could cause serious burns. The electric blanket on one of the beds was broken and no power point for it. We advised the manager but he didn’t seem concerned

Shawer head water pressure very low. Didn't enjoy the shower. Liquid soap and shampoo squueezable bottles very hard plastic to squeez to get soap. It was nice we took our shampoo and bath soap.

Stanza enorme, adatta a soggiorni lunghi, con cucina molto attrezzata (che non abbiamo usato). Pulito, letto comodo.

Al lavandino del bagno non c'era il miscelatore. Inoltre -sarà stato un caso- la mattina alle 8 è avvenuta la tosatura del prato: rumorosissima. Essendo il check out alle 10 avremmo dormito volentieri un poco di più

Close to town

The location was fantastic, with close proximity to everything, including the Dawn Service, which made our stay especially convenient. Check-in was an absolute breeze, and the woman at reception was incredibly helpful. She even provided a newspaper so I could find details about the Dawn Service the next morning, which was a thoughtful touch. The accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were extra pillows and blankets available, and the heater worked really well, keeping the space nice and warm. The TV included Sky, which was a great bonus for the kids. The kitchen was also well-equipped with everything we needed. Overall, the staff were fantastic and made the experience even better.

The mattress wasn’t quite to my personal preference, but this is subjective and may not be an issue for others. The shower was a bit awkward to use, as it required stepping up into it due to its raised position off the floor.

Room size is big enough, facilities are clean and sufficient to support every need during your stay, bed is very comfortable and clean which really exceeded my expectations. Location is good: short walks to supermarkets: 500m to PakN'Save, 800m to Woolworth, and 6km to Huka Falls. Convenient parking just outside window. Definitely recommend this motel, and will come again when possible.
