Location was perfect. We loved the layout and all the perks.

The electricity in both bathrooms was problematic but that's an easy fix!

Immaculately clean, with all mod cons. Very comfortable and location was ideal, 5 minute walk to town. Host was very accommodating and great value for money. Would highly recommend.

A very awkward house for two couples. It says it's a 3 bedroom but that is a real stretch. One of the two bathrooms was adjacent to the sitting room and had a frosted glass door that allowed you to see the person sitting on the toilet. The dryer did not dry clothes at all. The only frying pan was worn and nasty. The shower on the bathtub did not work and only trickled water. It is right on the main road so keep that in mind of you're a light sleeper. Lastly, it was very difficult to find. There is no marking in the house. The description said it had flower boxes but it did not. I tried two other key boxes on other houses before I found the right house.

Good location and free parking over the street. 2 bedrooms correctly described are ok.

The description needs to be accurate. It claims 3 beds 2 sitting rooms, when in reality one of the sitting rooms become a bedroom when the uncomfortable sofa bed is converted. The shower curtain rail and cupboard handles are rusty. The dining table is too tight to sit around. The light switch for the hall is a long way from the entrance and dangerously close to the stairs dropping down to the kitchen.

Very clean, kitchen was fairly well equipped. All beds were comfortable.

Upstairs was bright and pleasant, downstairs was a little dark and furniture a bit dated.

The location of the property was perfect for our stay, right in the middle of town. The house was clean and tidy with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Gorgeous and comfortable place. It is in great condition, with everything you may need for a pleasant stay. Patricia was very helpful and accessible at all times. I would definitely go back in the future.

Need to identify the property better ie name or number on the door. We were in the right area with your instructions just had to search for a key 🔑 lockbox. Water pressure very low in upstairs bathroom.

Everything beautiful style and quirky. Loved the fire downstairs the kitchen and bathroom. Great location everything was just a short walk.

Id recommend this house as its clean, fresh and in a great location a few minutes walk to the centre of the town. Will definitely be back here

The location was great! Just a short walk to town (5 minutes or less), there’s also an Aldi just a few minutes’ walk away if you need groceries. The house was nice - all bedrooms and one bathroom with a tub on the street/walk-in level, then downstairs is a comfortable living room, kitchen and dining area, another bathroom with a shower, and a utility room with a washing machine (no dryer, but our clothes dried pretty quickly). There was laundry soap there (though I’m not sure it’s always there or if it was leftover from someone else’s stay, but we appreciated it). We were 5 adults staying there (two couples in the two bedrooms each with a double bed, and the one adult stayed on a pull out couch/futon (which you could probably fit two people on). We heard a little traffic noise from the bedrooms as it is right on the main road), but it wasn’t enough to keep us up or wake us up. Patricia was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions I had. She had even turned on the heat before we go there so it would be comfortable upon our arrival. Did not see a hair dryer anywhere, but I imagine Patricia would’ve brought us one if I had asked for one. She also had helpful tips about things to do in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home. Really quaint. Host was lovely - really friendly and accommodating. Location excellent - walking distance to town. We had a lovely stay, will definitely be back in future!

Lovely house with charm, we really enjoyed our stay

It was nice to have so much space in this comfortable property within walking distance to shops, restaurants and pubs. We were initially concerned with parking not being included but there was a free lot directly across the street. We also appreciated having a washing machine to catch up on our laundry.

It’s location

Too many things wrong, no oven for 2 nights, basin blocked, no hairdryer, no bath mat, broken blind, window wouldn’t open and very cramped.

We had a very pleasant stay at this house. It has a lot of character and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The furnishings give it a cozy and authentic feel, and everything was clean and well-kept. The location was convenient, and the host was kind and helpful. Overall, it was a charming place to stay at.

Minor - No tea towel; could have had a bit more cutlery. minimal of most things in kitchen supplied.

Busy street - lots of traffic noise.

The upstairs tv did not work, and although we were told it would possibly be fixed, no repairman came. There is a clothes dryer in the washroom that would not turn on. When I texted the host about this, I received no help or reply even though we had previously texted about the tv. We had to travel with wet clothes upon departure. In general, the downstairs was cold and damp.

Our host was very kind. She explained how everything worked and the location allowed for easy walks to many restaurants/shops.

It was a little warm inside the place at night, but just make sure to pay attention to how to turn down the heat.

Enough space for 4 people to spread out.

A shelf or bench in downstairs bathroom would have been helpful.

This is an old cottage which is cold, musty, and with no ventilation. The sofa bed in the so-called 3rd bedroom was inadequate for adults

Only constructive suggestion would be to include a book with instructions for the heating, stove and the free all day parking but otherwise comfortable stay and great location

Patricia was a fantastic host; always one step ahead on essential communication, friendly and very helpful regarding local information and recommendations. The property was homely, comfortable and easy to relax in, with a surprising amount of space. And the location was just perfect; easy for parking and only a few minutes walk from some great restaurants, cafés and pubs.

Leaving was undoubtedly the low point.

Very homey and close to the centre with bars, coffee shops and an Aldi in which we got some groceries and made a meal in the very functional kitchen. Two bathrooms so very handy with a family. The staircase down was steep but once you were use to it it was no issue. Patricia was easily contactable and instructions clear on entry and leaving. Some basic staples in kitchen which was very handy. Lovely little garden at back but too wet for us to use. We loved our stay and will recommend Faye’s Place to others.

Nothing not to like everything was great.

Upstairs 2 bedrooms great. Very close to centre. Car ark free across rd.

No 3rd bedroom. Sofa bed hard and not equivalent to other rooms. Shower upstairs didn’t work. Bath looked nice but didn’t really function. Downstairs really dark and dingy. Very expensive for what it was.

This property was very clean and cosy and in a great location.

Beds so comfortable

We were attending a wedding in nearby Lough Eske castle…house was 10 min drive away…everything including location, parking & convenience was spot on

Not really a negative but on a Main Street so noise with traffic. Didn’t bother us though.

Plenty of living space and quirky with split level facilities but cosy and great heating upstairs

Would have preferred shower at bedroom level as opposed to downstairs near kitchen / lower living space which was slightly cool but it was November and we did not use the log burner available.

Location was fantastic, so nice to experience Donegal as must as we could. Also Slieve League Cliffs were amazing.

We really liked the location. It was very cozy and comfortable. I liked the fact that throughout the house there are wooden floors or tiles, no carpet. Modern large mirrors in every bedroom and bathroom. Girls will appreciate this.

Excellent location and being able to park right outside

One of us slept in the sofa bed room where there was no mirror or facility to do her hair.

Proximity to stores and restaurants. Walkable to most places.

Layout was awkward, but may be typical for the location and culture. It had a damp smell and the rug in bathroom in front of the shower was wet. There was also a used wet towel hanging on a hook in the bathroom.
