The house is a short walk from the town centre. The room was comfortable and had everything that I needed.

Camera spaziosa, pulita e ben curata nei dettagli, in posizione tranquilla a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Donegal Town. Consiglio vivamente.

Location was a top feature and onsite parking

Unfortunately for people accustomed to a king sized bed the double bed was far too small plus adjoining room returned around 3am and very noisy.

Every thing was nice and clean and tidy, excellent location walking distance to town for restaurants, pubs and shopping. Or a very short drive. Owner was nice and welcoming always going out of he’s way to say hello and make sure we were enjoying our stay. Overall a great place to stay.

Good location, only 10 min walk into town. Basic but clean room. Easy to find, good communications with the staff. Plenty of parking.

Nothing to dislike.

It was surprisingly even better than the pictures. everything was very clean and comfortable. no noise during the evenings. Shower always had warm water, towels were changed daily. Honestly it was so nice, I have the place saved for anytime I decide to stay up in the north again. No complaints whatsoever.

The location was great, a nice short walk into Donegal town all on flat ground. Beds were comfy, kitchen had all you needed for a short stay. Free parking available on site and easy check in/check out.

Shower lacked power, intermittent hot water. Walls were quite thin, could hear someone snoring in the room next door and we felt uncomfortable putting the TV on when we got back from dinner as we didn't want to disturb other guests.

Ruhige Lage in einem etwas abgelegenen Teil der Stadt. Viele Parkmöglichkeiten. Gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche.

Schmales Zimmer mit hellhörigen Wänden. Wenig Platz für Koffer und Rucksack, am besten nur das nötigste mit aufs Zimmer nehmen. Check-in läuft per Telefon, man trifft während des ganzen Aufenthaltes auf niemanden und ist sich selbst überlassen.

La casa es muy bonita y las habitaciones están genial, bien decoradas y tamaño bueno. Zonas comunes donde poder cocinarte tu propia comida, y una habitación con cristaleras donde puedes tomar algo y disfrutar del sol (cuando hay). Tienen un restaurante al que fuimos donde cenamos genial y fuimos muy bien atendidos.

El baño es muy pequeño, sobre todo el lavabo, y no hay ningún enchufe para poder enchufar el secador. No había microondas y no había copas de vino para servirte un vino.

A convenient base to explore local region.

The accommodation was good with plenty of parking. The room was very hot, but when we got in touch with Paul, the owner, he brought a fan around, and that helped.

It was a bit too far from the town centre. The onsuite was a bit small, and the mirror in there was a waste of time. I am not very tall, but if I had been 6 foot, I probably would still not be able to see in the mirror.

Super clean and comfortable. Great shower. Paul is a fab host. We really liked the sister restaurant 'The Habour'!

Fantastic stay for 10 people in this guest house for a group who were attending a wedding in the area. Check in was very straightforward and the place was spotless! We stayed for 2 nights and got clean towels delivered the next morning. Would definitely recommend and will be back! Thank you again😊

Our host was great, the guest house was immaculate with ample tea coffee and drinks available in the kitchen downstairs. Less than 10 minutes walk to the middle of town. We only had a one night stay but overall it was a fantastic place at great value. We will likely return for a visit.

Donegal does not have one flat piece of ground in the county😅, if your not able for an incline it wouldn't be an ideal place to stop😂. Stunningly beautiful but ya need good calves😂

I was expecting there to be staff as it was marketed as a guest house, but it was really just an Airbnb with individual rooms.

The house was lovely, clean, tidy, nicely decorated and in a v good location.

We were put in House 2 - Room 1. First night - No wifi. I got speaking to the owner/manager, who advised me to go outside, and enter House 1. Behind the bedside locker in the first bedroom i would find a switch. If it's switched off, i was to switch it on. This sorted out the wifi, but I found this set up to be most unusual. Our main problem was this:- We were in Room 1, which I assume would be the living room in a normal family home. It was decorated very well, ensuite clean and everything looked great, until we went to bed that night, (very tired after a wedding). 3.30 am we were awakened by the people in the upstairs room (who probably weren't being that noisy, to be honest) but we could hear every word above our heads, laughing, walking around the room, tramping down the stairs etc. The ceiling must be made of paper! This went on ALL night. We never slept a wink. I decided to scrap our plans and stay in bed that next day, to try to catch up on the lost sleep, but there were comings and goings all day, conversations outside our room, the front door (right outside our room) opening and closing, people smoking at the front door, talking on mobiles, going in and out of kitchen - etc. Guests doing normal activities for daytime, but obviously we got No sleep again. I prayed the upstairs guests had left, so we could sleep on our final night, but unfortunately not. A repeat of the night before, walking around the room - every single step was heard below - and the chats & laughter. It was a disaster! I was glad to get home so I could get some sleep. It's a lovely house, in a v good location ' But DO NOT let them put you in House 2, Room 1, if you are planning on getting ANY sleep!

Den Vermieter zu kontaktieren war eine Herausforderung. Erst nach Stunden hat er seine Nachrichten gelesen bzw. Anruf wurd ignoriert. So etwas darf nicht vorkommen und ist mir noch nie passiert. Hatten schon begonnen ein anderes Zimmer zu suchen. Schade dass man nicht, wie so oft, einfach einen Zugangscode bekommt und jederzeit ins Zimmer kann. Auch dass man in das Lokal soll, dass wie es aussieht zu ihm gehört find ich zwar als gute Geschäftsidee aber ich such mir das Lokal gern selbst aus wo ich essen geh.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Dass man keinen Code bekommt. Das der Vermieter offensichtlich nicht wusste dass gebucht wurde …

Good location and quiet neighborhood. Have a nice kitchen where you can prepare your own breakfast. Paul, the owner is very nice and accomodating.

Lovely almost rural location close to the centre of town. Parking is great. Shared kitchen/dining/lounge/sunroom is really good.

Hard floors in the rooms above transmitted noise from high heels through to our room.

Room size was good and offered good value. The neighbourhood felt safe and a community. Parking was good, kitchen , though communal had all needed. Besd was comfortable.

Walls were thin and you could hear people in neighbouring rooms. Recommended that mirror in bathroom be longer as my wife at 5 ft 3 could not see herself in the mirror. Also recommend that kitchen cabinets could be used in a way that guests could put food items away identified by room #.

Farmleigh House wordt gevormd door twee volledige woningen, die zijn onderverdeeld in kamers voor de gasten. In het woonhuis waarin wij een kamer hadden op de eerste etage was verder nog voor ons beschikbaar een gecombineerde keuken en leefruimte, die kon worden gebruikt door alle gasten in die woning. Onze kamer was zonder meer goed; van alle gemakken voorzien en uitgerust met een prima badkamer. Parkeerruimte is er rondom het huis meer dan voldoende. Het is even een flinke wandeling van het huis naar het centrum van de stad, maar zeer goed te doen. Ga vooral ook eten in The Harbour Restaurant & Bar, dat kennelijk een zakelijke band heeft met Farmleigh House; het eten is er heel goed!

Brilliant location, close to main road, well signposted and easy to find. The place was clean, check in was straightforward (call required to owner upon arrival). Bed was comfortable, small ensuite with good shower.

Located a short drive from town, this guest house was just as beautiful as the photos display. We had a contactless booking and had an immediate response when we checked in without a booking (impromptu decision). The room and house were immaculate. Beautiful colour decor in the room, relatively small but comfy and fine for a night or 2. Had a well equipped kitchen downstairs for guests use and that made it fantastic! We were able to cook dinner, and then make breakfast and sandwiches the next day. We met a few other guests who were lovely. This hotel is the cheapest one we stayed in in the whole UK and was one of the BEST! Thankyou so much.

The toilet wasn't functioning properly as it constantly ran with water after flushing. A minor problem that I'm sure the owner will sort quickly

Olga who met us on the first day was very kind and lovely. The location was good close to the town. The room was ok, not really deluxe, but still had all we needed with a small private shower.

If we knew that party is allowed we would not book it. We came after a day of hiking to the house full of drunk young people, to be fair lads were nice and turned the music down, but probably because they were leaving still the experience was quite unique and uncomfortable (for us all).

Great host. Property was as described,. Clean, looked as described. Very relaxing.

Esta es una casa en la cual alquilan habitaciones de manera individual, los dueños no viven en la propiedad. Nos sorprendió que hubiese bastante tranquilidad, pudimos utilizar la cocina para la cena y el desayuno, la tuvimos totalmente para nosotros.

El huésped de la habitación de abajo subió a nuestra habitación a decirnos que la ducha goteaba en su habitación por lo que tuvimos que utilizar una sola ducha de las dos que teníamos.

The house has multiple bedrooms, so other tenants can be big variable as shared common spaces and bedrooms are all together.
