Lofoten Waterfront luxury lodge

Amazing location on the seaside, with a wonderful view and in the middle of Lofoten so easy to drive to various places. The house was clean and with all necessities. The staff was reachable most of the time.

There could be more information on a few things, especially the handling of garbage and how the electronics (front door lock, heating etc) work.

Der mangler lidt information om brug af sauna, hvorhenne man skal gøre af sit skrald mm. Der mangler også nogle basic ting i køkkenet, fx er der kun ét skærebræt, samt kun et lille bitte ovnfast fad.

Sauberkeit/Hygiene verbesserungsbedürftig, ausreichend bis mangelhaft. (Backofen extrem verdreckt/klebrige Rückstände an Küchenschränken/ Esstisch ,Geschirr und zurückgelassene Lebensmittel der Vormieter. Außerdem fehlten Bedienungshinweise zur Müllentsorgung und Türschließer, da wir mit mit den norwegischen Verfahrensweisen nicht vertraut waren.

Locația este absolut fabuloasă, curățenie peste tot, bucătărie utilată corespunzător. Avut un sejur excelent!

Manglet TV, skulle være det. Veldig møkkete stort vindu, ødela panoramautsikten innenfra. Litt lite kjøkkenredskaper Møbel på minste bad bør skiftes Utemøbler....til denne prisen forventes noe bedre enn paller

The location is excellent for a peaceful vacation. There is a hiking nearby and Ballstad is close to things to do in the area. This is a comfortable place for two people, or more.

I usually leave glowing reviews because I try to choose more luxurious stays. However, for the price paid, there were too many issues. 1. The sauna did not work at all and when I contacted the property management company, nothing was done. In fact, the management company tried to give instructions that did not even apply the sauna. The company did not offer to come out and fix the sauna. All the company did was apologize for the inconvenience and lie that there have never been any reported problems regarding the sauna not working. (This is the exact message sent to me: Hi Jenny Peters! Than you so much for your message! We deeply apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay in our cabin. It was the first problem with the sauna, no one ever had before. We tried to help you as much as possible and we are sorry that this did not meet your expectations. If you have any questions, we stay at your disposal. Global Rental Hub) If you are considering this property, actually look at all of the reviews on Booking and you will notice that other people have mentioned that there were problems with the sauna. 2. Windows on the second floor do not really open up to let in air - and on a sunny day, it gets very warm on the second floor as there are no curtains or window treatments. 3. There is a blown or failed window seal on the second floor, which make the left side hazy and not clear. In fact, it is a real disappointment that you cannot see through them clearly on sunny days. Look at the photo I attached. 4. The four reclining chairs on the second floor were dirty - visible dust, hair, and dirt on them.

Stunning view (to include from sauna,) great hike right out front, and perfect location for exploring Lofoten to the west and east.

The location is awesome. The beds were the best we have experienced.

The sauna is brilliant but the door is a bit resistant.

We loved everything about this property. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The view from both downstairs and upstairs was breathtaking, especially from the upstairs windows. We saw northern lights from this window. The Sauna was great. We had a very comfortable stay here. We loved the location.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Spacious Cabin with most amazing views and sauna with everything you need for a self catering stay away. We travelled as a family of 5 and the accommodation was perfect for us, great communication with owners and breathtaking views of the water and mountains. Have been so lucky to observe northen lights for all 3 nights of our stay here as well. Would recommend the place to everyone.

Easy check in, wonderful location and view, very well equipped kitchen. Nice furniture.

I would prefer to have black out curtains for the midnight sun in June. Mattresses hygienic covers would be also appreciated.

Great views, spectacular location, hiking to Ballstad hoya, Nonstinden and more starts right at the frontdoor....

Amazing location where you can watch Nordic Light directly from the lodge due to big windows facing fjord and the opposite mountain meanwhile you are sitting in comfy chairs. Really helpful host and modern building.

GO HERE!!! this was the best location we’ve been to our whole trip :)!! I don’t know where to begin: the stove, the hospitality, the equipment, the quick responses, the help with all our questions, THE VIEW, the cozy rooms, two toilets, the balcony, EVERYTHING!! we would definitely recommend staying here and you can easily spot auroras too ;)
