The property was in a good location and had great aspect.

The property was described as having 2 bathrooms but it only has one. We specifically requested both bedrooms be made up as we were 2 friends travelling together. Was confirmed by property that this would be done. When we checked in only one bedroom was made up and when I contacted property management they said that as booking was only for 2 people they had made property up accordingly. After I resent their confirmation email they them agreed to come and make the second bedroom up.

Fabulous position and great location for exploring the southern part of Lofoten. Gorgeous accommodation with everything you need.

Amazing stay at this beautiful rorbu- we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Lofoten! Warm and responsive hosts, incredible location and views and the accommodation was perfect for our family. Super modern, clean and comfortable.

Tolle Lage, genialer Ausblick, tolle Wanderung direkt vor der Tür. Die Lodge ist top ausgestattet, gepflegt und absolut gemütlich. Kommunikation mit den Besitzer über Mail absolut klasse, alle Infos sind vorab und rechtzeitig angekommen.

Hosts were very responsive. Check-in was super easy. The view was very nice and the location was great. The area was beautiful to walk around

The floor was not vacuumed properly in the ground floor, upper and also the staircase. We like to walk barefoot a lot and the floor did not feel clean enough

Very big house with nice view

Amazing location, high quality home with everything you need. Super comfortable rooms and outstanding living room and kitchen, and front porch on the water.

Amazing stay at Ballstad and my family demanding me a revisit to this place in future trips. Our first experience in cabins and this place is so cosy spacious clean neat and you have everything here view and best calmness at stay. Owners are very kind and supportive. We loved this place and will visit again.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful. The view of the mountains and the sea was breathtaking, and we enjoyed every moment there. Even after several visits to Lofoten, its beauty never ceases to amaze us. The hosts were exceptional—warm, caring, and incredibly easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and look forward to returning someday.

Location. Had enough rooms for our family. Kitchen had all the utensils for preparing meals.

Only one shower. It seems like Sun never sets in Lofoton. Needed darker curtains. They provided one towel each. We had to wash it and wait for it to dry(no dryer). To their credit, they provided extra towels upon request next day. No AC. It was hot during that week. Looks like some units had AC. Ours didn’t. I suggest they install split ACs. Opening windows doesn’t help because of noise outside. This was true for all hotels all across Norway. Provide two towels for each person. I

Helt fenomenalt boende,lungt och underbart vackert läge. Super trevlig och fräsch stuga. Stort plus att man fick ha med husdjur. Finns inget att klaga på ,kan bara rekommendera.👌👌👍👍

Situated in a beautiful fishing village. Lovely walk from the house.

I really liked that its pet friendly !Also good location ,near the city Leknes ,Haukland and Uttakleiv beach’es .

We loved the location and the style of this home.

I imagine it only happens a few days a year but the upstairs was so hot from all that beautiful glass. And there wasn’t a great way to cool it off for sleeping at night.

The property had a very good location. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, utensils. Modern appliances (no microwave). The view was amazing. Strong water pressure and sufficient hot water. Baby gate on the top floor (we were travelling with a baby). Large smart TV. Portable chairs were available which was nice to take with us to the beach.

The upper floor of the property was SUPER HOT and no proper ventilation anywhere. We could barely breathe. There are 2 bedrooms on the top floor and sleeping was impossible with the heat. We switched off central heating as suggested, however there is no AC and no fans. We asked for fans at least but the host just said she will consider it for future guests. The problem is that the huge window upstairs has no blinds or curtains and acts like a green house. The other problem is that on the top floor there is only 1 small window in living room and 1 small window in each of bedrooms, but the windows only open about 5cms maximum, so not enough for air ventilation. Also, none of the bedrooms had blackout curtains, which is a necessity to sleep especially during the midnight sun period. The floors were dusty and lots of hair. The sofa was dirty with lots of hair which looked like it comes from a dog, not sure. It is a pity because it is a nice house but not comfortable to live in. If its hot and light every where, one cannot rest during the night. After 2 connecting flights and a day of travelling, one would not expect to arrive and have to make the bed. The beds and pillows are not ready made, you will just find sheets, etc.. and have to make it yourself.

The house is modern and very beautiful. The kitchen so full with almost everything I need. And the view is amazing, I can see Northern light from the window, but because it's very near the mountain so the light almost behind it.

I don't like that we have to prepare the linen for bed, pillow and duvet ourselves. And if you don't do it, you sleep on the not clean bed, which most of us just go with it because we're too tired for a whole day trip.
