Lovely peaceful location with a beautiful outlook over the farmland and lots of birdsong. We were warmly welcomed on arrival, the beds were comfy, and the home baking and generous basket of snacks were such a thoughtful touch. The place was tidy, warm and cosy, and we really appreciated being accommodated at such short notice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Luxe, mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht over de heuvels. Heel vriendelijke gastvrouw en heer. We werden echt verwend met allerlei lekkernijen en zelfs alles was aanwezig om te ontbijten.

Everything - host, facilities, location, ambience + snacks. Though it is a bit off-road (try to reach there early) but the host has prepared us lots of supplies to keep our tummy "happy". The bread is so nice that we "hijacked" it for our second day picnic at Hobbiton Village. We continued "hunting for that particular bread" till end of our 21st day in NZ. We even bought home 3 precious loaves. Ha! Ha!

All the extra foodie items. It was basically a bed and breakfast with out the having to sit in the "main lounge" with everyone else. The scenery was beautiful, was a clear night and the sky fill of stars. Was very warm and cosy, air con was very effective.

The home baking, the breakfast bar were all amazing. The location is 5mins from Mighty River Domain. Hosts were friendly & super accomodating every which way they could be. Amazing setting & grounds where kids could kick a ball round. If I could vote this place a 20 of 10 I would.

Wonderful breakfast and Melissa baked treats for us for our arrival! Plenty of healthy wonderful cereal, etc selections and complimentary snacks. Melissa and Murray even wrote a welcome note that was placed next to the baked goods. Have stayed in bnbs all over the world and this is the warmest welcome we've had anywhere! The location is truly a fairyland -- felt like Hobbiton with the beautiful hills, the colors of the sky, the birds singing. The property was pristine, spotless with every attention to detail provided for the comfort of the guests. Melissa and Murray were very engaging, helpful about what to see in the area and couldn't have been kinder. This stay ranks in the very top of places we have stayed in the world over. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

The house, property and hosts were extremely inviting. It was a peaceful and beautiful place to unwind after days of sightseeing. The hosts were friendly and helpful and stocked the kitchen with lots of goodies for breakfast and more. The house was clean and spacious. Great for our family but would be nice for a couple as well. Would highly recommend.

Thank you so much for your generosity. The house was incredibly clean, warm, and cozy. The kids especially loved the homemade banana bread, biscuits, and muffins. We also greatly appreciated the bread, butter, and milk in the fridge, as well as the variety of snacks and breakfast cereal provided. Die Unterkunft war extrem sauber und toll eingerichtet. Die Vermieter waren sehr sehr liebe Menschen und wir hatten sogar eine fülle von teils selbst gebackenen Snacks in der Unterkunft bereitgestellt bekommen. Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, vielen Dank an euch Beide!

Location good for glowworm caves, Hobbiton, Hamilton Gardens areas, and not far from Rotorua. Beautiful country setting! Excellent hosts, Modern, clean, comfortable. Blackout curtains. Good Wifi. Many foods & treats supplied by hosts.

Great location and would definitely recommend this stay. It was perfect for what we needed and very spacious for a family of four. Close to the nearest town but you for sure get the country feel. Views were amazing and loved sitting on the patio watching and listening to the birds.

Perfect location for us, with a beautiful peaceful outlook. Unit was very clean and tidy and so cozy and comfy. Our son loved the snacks and breakfast provided. We will definitely be staying again.

Sharon and Ian were wonderful and friendly hosts, this was a lovely and spacious house with a view and very close to local shops, walks and scenic spots. They supplied some great breakfast food options and were happy for us to roam the property and interact with their dog and neighbouring cows. Definitely recommend if you want to stay in a scenic area near Hamilton and Cambridge.

Fantastic cottage in a very beautiful location. Sharon is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. We only stayed for one night but we would have loved to have stayed much longer.

The hosts went over and above to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We cannot speak highly enough of them. The accommodation was immaculate with ample towels provided, extra bedding available if needed and complimentary toiletries. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that could be needed to make a meal as well as cleaning products and tea towels. Breakfast foods and a variety of snacks and beverages were provided as complimentary The setting was idyllic, quiet and peaceful with a variety of birdlife to observe and cows grazing in nearby paddocks. It was an exceptional stay with exceptional hosts.

Everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Lovely selection for cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast and preserves for breakfast. Warm and comfortable with lovely views over farmland to hills. A quiet and peaceful place to relax.

Super freundliche liebevolle Vermieterin, sehr hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gepflegt eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Heizung war sehr gut.

Sharon is a wonderful gardener, and sitting on the deck enjoying the native birds against a backdrop of rolling hills was so peaceful. The kids loved the complimentary snacks, the breakfast was delicious, linen was impeccable. Games cupboard came in clutch. Sharon even took my daughter's blankie and washed it for us, as she'd been sick in the car. Just such wonderful manaakitanga.

The hot water ran out, after a third long shower, so not a negative, but something to be mindful of.

The location is wonderful - 5 or 10 mins drive from Cambridge, but just in the country enough to get away from the bustle of traffic and people. The unit was fully self contained, very clean, and toast, cereal, milk and an assortment of drinks and cookies was provided. The hosts, Sharon and Ian are wonderful friendly people, and their dog Roxy is a bundle of joy, if not a little energetic :D There is a lovely walkway a few minutes down the road beside Lake Karapiro.

The location was excellent, within 15 minutes from Cambridge, quiet in the country.

Excellent property and very kind and friendly hosts. The unit is clean and comfortable. The hosts make sure you have everything you need. They provided milk, fresh butter and bread as well as very wide range of snacks and breakfast cereals. It’s such a nice property. It’s so cool to look up on a clear night and see the Milky Way. You don’t get much opportunity to do that these days.

Great communication, fantastic location. Had everything you would need or want for a stay away from home. Sharon and Ian kept checking in during our staff to make sure everything was okay, also gave us a great recommendation for a dinner location.

The hosts, Sharon & Ian were very friendly and had left a number of extras for us which added to the comfort of our stay. The view from the property was spectacular and it was to travel to local attractions.

Sharon and Ian have a wonderful peaceful oasis. We spent four nights in their pristine clean and fulled decked out accommodation. The central location was perfect for day trips to Maungatautari nature reserve , Rotorua, Waitomo glowworm caves, Karapiri lake. We would highly recommend! 10 out of 10.

We booked as accomodation for special guests who were invited to Karapiro area as Judges for an equestrian breeders show. They absolutely loved their stay and felt the property was best accommodation they had been hosted in a long time. We will definitely be proud to use this accomodation for future guests

Everything was great as it was the time we spent there last year. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay close to Cambridge. We intend to stay there again next year.

Absolutely beautiful. The house is perfect inside and out. Beds are very comfortable and everything one needs is there. The scenery is truly remarkable. Hosts were welcoming and lovely people. An excellent location for Hobbiton, night glow-worm kayaking, and other main north island venues. An easy drive from Hamilton airport. I've already recommended to friends.

I stayed here with my partner for 2 nights and this was our favourite place that we stayed in New Zealand! The host was extremely kind and friendly and provided plenty of snacks and food items for our stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean with modern decor. We especially loved the peace and quiet of the surrounding area and seeing all of the birds in the beautiful garden. Such a special place :)
