Stairs to bedroom were steep particularly to get luggage up With bathroom downstairs from bedroom night toilet was challenging

Maybe a bathroom, toilet upstairs would be great but not enough not to stay again 🙂

Have stayed before and had breakfast supplied. Although not advertised they provided us a selection of things for breakfast. A lovely homely place to stay.

it felt like a home away from home. we didn't need to shop for little things like mustard or coffee and the house was warm and quiet. the host was lovely.

Everything, there is absolutely nothing to be done to make this darling little cottage better than it is. Fabulous location, quiet, homely, close to everything and superb hosts.

Very clean tidy and comfortable felt like a home away from home. Parking was sufficient everything was beautiful the art was so gorgeous. I forgot to take pics! Just got videos but beautiful place.

The bottom of the shower filled with water and when door was open it flooded. I did speak to the owners and she said she was getting the plumber in so should be sorted for future stays.

Easy to follow instructions from the hosts on collecting the property keys on arrival. Hosts were friendly but gave us our space. Beautifully decorated and lovely bedding. My daughter loved hearing the river at night. Well-priced and although right by the main house, still felt private. Will definately stay again.

Sunny Glen cottage is a clean, comfortable, and very quiet apartment, with access to a lovely walkable trail behind the property by the river. The private garden area is beautiful with many little birds flying around. The hosts are in the adjacent house and are very friendly and helpful. Waikanae is a lovely, quaint town.

This is a lovely, spacious and meticulous cottage behind the main house. There is a pretty garden and the walking trail to Waikanae Beach and The Scientific Nature Reserve is right behind the house. The hosts met us when we arrived to see if we needed anything. They are very friendly and gave us great info on local hikes, activities, and restaurants. I highly recommend this cottage!

So quiet, peaceful & relaxing. Very nice decore. Very clean. Hosts friendly & helpful, without being intrusive.

Clean, well equipped, close to wedding venue, lovely hosts, good price, off street parking.

Was cold, needed to use heating provided, bed was a bit hard for my liking, Dad (elderly) tripped on odd step down design into bedroom and dining areas. Was well sign posted though. Maybe a small ramp would make safer. Bathroom downstairs bedrooms upstairs.

Beautifully appointed, comfortable, spacious for 2 couples with lovely garden outlook & birdsong.

The location and the cottage amenities were absolutely excellent.

The bedrooms were upstairs but the bathroom was downstairs. Ok for me but inconvenient for my elderly mother.

We brought our own,but what was on offer was wide ranging.

Family member found 2nd bedroom a bit closterphobic and there was a musty smell in kitchen and/or bathroom area. Maybe a leak at some time?

Everything was perfect. The unit was beautifully appointed and well stocked. One of the best places we’ve stayed.

Sunny Glen is a beautiful place with friendly hosts. Everything that you could possibly need is there. The house is very comfortable and together with the garden is a very relaxing place to stay.

I loved the attention to detail! Beautiful Sheridan cotton sheets, fluffy Sheridan Bath towels, Ecostore toiletries & stunning decor to mention just a few of the things we enjoyed. Everything has been a provided for a very comfortable & enjoyable stay. Beautiful location & very quiet & private.
