Lo abbiamo utilizzato per dormire una notte per la vicinanza all'aereoporto e all'autopista. Castillo, il ragazzo che ci ha assistito, è stato gentilissimo: ci è venuti a prendere all'aeroporto (transfert a pagamento a parte), ci ha accompagnato a fare spesa essendo sera tarda e il giorno dopo ci ha riaccompagnato all'aeroporto. Sempre disponibile e rapido a rispondere su WhatsApp a qualsiasi domanda.

I think you guys should consider doing business with Villa Mercedes instead. I don’t think it is a safe neighborhood, even though it’s in a good location, and the staff does not look professional."

El barrio es muy popular, se percibe un poco solitario, no sé si peligroso. Pero el Lugar es cerrado y tranquilo. Se podría mejorar el ruido en las villas...ingresa mucho ruido ambiental.

The property was older than expected based on the photos. The water temperature in the shower was extremely hard to regulate - either scalding hot or cold. It seemed a little pricey in comparison to other, more modern accommodations we stayed at in DR.

La propreté. Logement trés ancien, enfermé, peu aéré. Humidité, odeur de poussière ambiante. On a peur de s'installer sur le mobilier (canapé et tout). Je suis tombée très malade à l'issue d'une nuit passée dans cet endroit. La clim ne doit pâs être nettoyée. Le mobilier date des années 70. Les toilettes ne sont pas adaptés pour un logement de tourisme. La piscine était impraticable le jour où nou sétions là.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Unkomplizierte Abwicklung, sehr freundlicher Empfang, trotz der Lage sehr sicher und tolle Atmosphäre. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut und liebevoll ausgestattet und war sehr sauber.
Die durchgehende Lautstärke durch Musik, Hundegebell, klappernde Klimaanlage, usw. auch in der Nacht war sehr nervenaufreibend. Die Fenster bestehen aus einzelnen Lamellen, die sich nicht schließen lassen. Die Dusche und der Kleiderschrank waren leider katastrophal und mussten wegen nur einmaliger Übernachtung zum Glück von uns nicht genutzt werden (siehe Fotos).

Reviewed Apr 6, 2025We stayed here on our last night in the Dominican Republic, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. Castillo picked us up from the nearby airport and even took us back for our 4 a.m. flight — something we truly appreciated. The place was clean, peaceful, and had a really relaxing vibe. The yard was lovely, and having access to the pool was a bonus. Communication with Marcia before and throughout our stay was excellent — everything felt easy and taken care of. Castillo also took us to the beach at Boca Chica, which was beautiful and such a nice surprise for our final day. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re flying in or out of the area!

Reviewed Jan 4, 2025The apartment I stayed in was attractive and inviting and tastefully decorated. I was very comfortable in the bed and the shower in the bathroom had great water pressure . The pool was refreshing and the courtyard, absolutely charming. Above all, the employees were friendly and helpful, even driving me to the supermarket and Chicken Restaurant to get some food and a bottle of wine. I much prefer staying in independent properties that provide unique local charm than staying at the larger, impersonal chain properties. I would definitely recommend Villa Marcia to people coming to this area.

The location is not what I expected. It’s far from boca chica beach and it takes 15 minutes by taxi to get food and drinks. There is nothing nearby. It was very loud at night. Younger group of people was listening music talking loudly outside of facility. Also so many horns at night. Also you need to take it into consideration that it is very close to airport so you can hear the aircraft leaving.
