We loved everything about our stay. The accommodation was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Perfect place to relax!

Very central location, easy access to property

That location was fantastic and the House was very comfortable clean and the host had text me a few times to see if all was OK. We had a wonderful time .

I like everything about the property. We had two children with us and have a spacious and had two bathrooms. .

My only critique is about the bathroom. The shower head should be upgraded or have a proper shower. The toilet sit fixed or replaced.

Sehr abgewohnt und renovierungsbedürftig, Tassen waren nicht sauber abgewaschen, Badewannenabdeckung kaputt, Wasserstrahl dürftig. Im Inserat war eine rote Tür, in echt eine blaue. Navi könnte die Adresse nicht finden.

The property was very central - we had everything we needed on our doorstep, or within a very short distance. Fiona provided everything we needed, and was very communicative and helpful when we looked for recommendations locally.

It was right in town, we were headed to The Shed which was within walking distance. Facilities were nice.

No coffee pot or anything to make coffee with! I know tea is big in Ireland but my family do not drink it and do not like instant. Maybe a small French press or something. We had real coffee from an earlier stay but no way to make it. Really everything else was fine, minor things. Not really much to do in town once The Shed closes, could not find entrance to Monica’s and knew they were open. Not many options to eat, someone suggested Henry’s but first comment on their site wasn’t good so we just returned.

Archies Rest is the perfect location, close to pubs, Centra, takeout and very easy walking distance to The Shed distillery. The double bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was right in town, clean, had all the facilities we needed.

There was no parking available except up the hill from property. There were five vehicles parked in all different directions right out in front. Many other people parked there since they live around this place. Downstairs shower was very outdated and had no shower curtain. Lighting in living room was inadequate. Middle bedroom upstairs was the size of a closet with spiders. My daughter felt very uncomfortable so we left and booked at another hotel. We weren’t there more than an hour and left! Not represented well in pics. First time that has happened in all these years with booking.com.

Jolie petite maison de village, bien insonorisée malgré la rue principale à côté. Les indications de la propriétaire ont été clairs dans l'ensemble (le détail dans ce que je n'ai pas aimé). La maison, propre à notre arrivée, peut accueillir 5 personnes et possède 2 petites salles de bains, ainsi qu'une cuisine bien équipée. La literie était confortable. Il y a un commerce et plusieurs pubs et restaurants dans les rues juste à côté. Et le lac est tout proche en voiture.

Malgré les indications, allumer le chauffage avec le timer en place n'a pas été évident tout de suite, et il y avait une action à faire avec le chauffe-eau que nous n'avons pas faite. Ce qui explique peut-être pourquoi l'eau chaude ne coulait pas fort dans la salle de bain du haut. Autre petit point négatif est derrière la porte de la cuisine, le balcon miniature ne donne sur rien et il y avait un cendrier plein et un peu malodorant.

This property is in the most convenient location in the town. A 5 minute amble to the distillery, a 1 minute amble to the café and the same to one of the lovely local pubs, Monica's. Parking right outside too!

Location was really great: you're right at city center for food and some shopping and it's a short walk to the distillery. The house was really cozy and comfortable.

I will say the water pressure upstairs isn't the best, but there is a bathroom on both levels, so that works out. Also, it's not a negative, just a note. Make sure you look on the listing that it has a washer but not a dryer. They do provide a drying rack, though so that was a great help.

We booked for the location, close to the Drumshanbo distillery, so the location is perfect. It was clean, secure and accommodated our group easily for the one night stay we had in mind

Typically in a short term let like this, we would see a small selection of incidental items (tea, coffee). There was none of that - fortunately there is a shop only a short distance, so tea and coffee could be bought, but it seems like a missed opportunity for the property to be a little more welcoming. The shower upstairs has terrible water pressure, but we later discovered there was also a shower downstairs

We loved it, very clean and comfortable. Great value for money and a great location.

The house was central in Drumshanbo a 2 min walk to everywhere incl the distillery. It was spotless and perfect for a little trip away.

Great location, excellent host, quick stay before a wedding at the Markree Castle nearby. Quaint town. We had the opportunity to meet our fantastic host and see her new shop opening up soon. The Old Cow clay workshop. She was so kind and helpful with everything. Her shop is amazing. We loved our visit. Thank you Fiona for the wonderful mugs

Good location and great facilities. Beautiful house the land lady communicated well and gives great instruction for check in.

The only problem we had was upstairs the bedding too smelly especially the pillows.

We really had a great time in drumshanbo, loads to do and Archie's was a prime location to all we wanted to do, just a pity we couldn't stay longer.

Poor water pressure upstairs, Sky TV needed a card, some items needed in the kitchen: small saucepan, baking dish (lasagne). And a couple more wine glasses!

The property is centrally located in Drumshanbo with walking easy to everything in the village. The walks and things to do locally are great.

The dwelling had no television or radio available. It would not take much to make this available considering we paid €276 for two nights. It is a simple facility that should be available.

Central location. We walked on the boardwalk and along the river to battle bridge, where we had lovely food.

The location was perfect with shops, restaurants and pubs literally on your doorstep. Beds really comfy and all necessities provided. Good value for money.

A little antiquated, possibly needing an upgrade, but then that is as much a positive as a negative to a lot of people.

Clean and spacious, nice contact with the Host, the House is in the middle of the city, coffees/bars around it and a top spot for walks. Price performance excelent.

Asked in advance if there was a hairdryer - told there was - there was not. Contacted host to say couldn’t use the tv she did replied let me know if a problem - we did never replied so had no TV

Loved the location. Shops, cafes and restaurants all a very short stroll away. We started for a week and the house was a great base.

Very cosy house in centre of town.Comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated. Close to great food in lovely setting in The Shed Distillery. Two pubs we enjoyed were The Corner and especially Monica's. The chipper close by a good one. Beautiful countryside with Canal and Lake walks.
