Reviewed Sep 15, 2026We arrived a little early and waited a bit. Once we called the host, she was right next door and met us with the key and showed us the property. She was very sweet. Very nice place, beautiful rooms, comfortable setting and beds. It's as lovely as the pictures on the website. There were some goodies left for us which was very thoughtful. It was a perfect location for where we were going. We spent a few nights and enjoyed the place and surrounding area.
A small issue with the flushing of one of the toilets but it was promptly addressed

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026The host was super friendly and had left scones and milk and butter and jam and bread for us. There were umbrellas and hi viz vests by the door. Toiletries in the bathroom etc. Boardgames in the dining room. She thought of everything
I liked the decor, but others might consider it dated. The bedrooms have showers in them which is a bit odd.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2025It was perfect for visiting family who live nearby. The host left bread, butter, jam, and milk, and the bathrooms had shampoo, toothpaste and plenty of towels. The bed sheets felt high-quality.
The table in the living room took up a lot of space, other than that everything was grand.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2025The property was fabulous. The host had everything you needed. Left us a lovely care package. It was really comfortable with 3 amazing bedrooms. Fantastic bedding, towels and toiletries and the kitchen was fully equipped. The house was lovely and warm and in a great location. We were staying to do the local half marathon and we were a short walk to the race and able to go back to the house to get showered and changed after. The hosts couldn't do enough for us. I really highly recommend this property and will most definitely be back.

This was originally a B&B & now used as a multi occupancy accommodation. You're paying for the full house.
