Loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful place. Walkersons Estate is stunning, gorgeous scenery, peaceful, even saw the zebra and buck on our morning walks. The house is very spacious, clean and very comfortable. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The fireplace, electric blankets and heaters in the bathrooms made a huge difference as it was quite chilly. Elresa and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.

The setting is heavenly and the house spacious and beautifully clean. The booking agent was extremely friendly and helpful! It is a magnificent get away for peace and quiet, long walks and reading by the fire!

Access code to key safe by front door. Due to miscommunication, my fault, we did not realise that we had been sent this code and waisted an hour after arrival.getting it resent. Just make sure you receive the code and understand what it is, particularly after a long overnight flight!

The accommodation was exceptional – beautifully maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail has clearly been considered to make guests feel at home while still enjoying a luxurious countryside experience. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the week, adding to the overall positive experience. The setting is one of the standout features. The dams, rolling hills, walking paths, and open landscapes create a calm, peaceful atmosphere. It’s also a dream location for photography. The light in the early mornings and late afternoons is beautiful, and there are countless scenic spots – from reflections on the water to mist over the hills and wide open countryside views. If you enjoy taking photos, you’ll have no shortage of subjects.

The unit very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The area is quiet and peaceful. We had a relaxed laid back few days and recharged the batteries. Although the weather was warm we are aware that the area can get very cold and the unit is well equipped to counteract the cold with electric blankets, overhead heaters in the bathrooms and a fireplace with plenty wood supplied in the living area. It almost made us wish for colder weather just to make use of these facilities. Already is very helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble for her. Thanks for a lovely stay

Strong and stable wifi. Electricity back up. Good before arrival communication and orientation by the host.

The location , a beautiful quiet place with privacy for my family, the house was clean and spacious.

The main bedroom had a choking smell, we tried opening the windows, using air fresheners but it was strong, when we checked the ceiling has yellowish stains. We couldn’t sleep in it on the second night

Absolutely nothing, the estate is exceptionally beautiful and our house was beautiful and well kept, the cleaning services very kind and showed us outmost respect.

Property very beautiful well located and amazing views of the dams and mountains around you. House is very spacious , neat and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The house was spacious with enough privacy for every room. Lovely lounge and well equiped kitchen. Good location to explore the estate. Liked the two diningroom tables for family meals.

Comfortable Patio furniture on the stoep would be a huge plus to be able to all sit outside and enjoy morning coffee.

Beautiful location in Walkerson's Estate. Well equipped house which was really lovely. Good fishing. Good communication from host. Had issue where couldn't get key safe open. Sorted very quickly when contacted them and they got the estate staff to come up and open up for us.

Our main reason for choosing Walkersons was the fishing and the dam fishing was terrible. Fish are in poor condition and ones caught were very small. Permit inspector explained that the dams have not been stocked in 3 years. The cost of a fishing permit is expensive and would expect better. This is not the fault of the accommodation but to be noted if you want to fish

Loved the beds and linen, the peace and quiet, nature, two lovely chairs outside our room. And super soft cuddly blankets.

All pretty much minor stuff, but the firewood was not so nice and does not make a good fire.

All our requirements catered for

the geyser temperature in the bedroom near the kitchen is to low.

location is stunning the amenities and set out of the house very nice good value for money will use this venue for our future Walkerson's stays

I did not like the sign outside the front door saying thanks for renting our house - made it seem too impersonal

The house is called W108/W111 We had an absolutely amazing time, the house was stunning and immaculately prepared for us. It is very private and really feels like a home away from home. The estate has many activities available, we thoroughly enjoyed the horse riding and hotel restaurant. We can't wait to be back.

Our host thought of everything to make our stay relaxing right from arrival to departure, from the location to the decor to the amenities and right down to the finer details. We had a wonderful stay in a lovely home away from home atmosphere.

The host was always in contact. And it was easy to follow the instructions to open the lock box
