Lush Garden Villa with private pool

La maison possède 3 chambre climatisées ainsi qu'un salon climatisé. La piscine privée avec ce magnifique jardin est très agréable. Possibilité de garer la voiture dans la cour fermée de la propriété. Hôte très reactive. Maison au calme. Passage régulier du jardinier pour l'entretien de l'extérieur et de la piscine.

Besoin d'un véhicule. Chien présent sur la propriété sans en informer les clients, même si celui-ci est dans un enclos.

Has all basic needs, nice garden, warm pool on a private, gated, area. Private safe parking on the premise area. Support was excellent and beach area is 5 min walk. Good dive centre nearby (Bubble Diving). We loved the fact that we had a real private spot. Area is quiet and peaceful. The North of Mauritius is one of the best areas to be. Large mall in 10 min drive (La Croisette).

House could use some simple improvements (paint here and there) as it looks a little worn out. But if you see through that it is a really nice spot.

We spent 11 days in this lovely home and truly enjoyed every moment. The house is set in a peaceful residential area and features a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a genuinely tropical garden — a wonderful place to relax throughout the day. The owner was exceptionally helpful and always quick to respond whenever we had a question. Her kindness and attentiveness made our stay feel comfortable and worry-free. The location is quiet yet convenient: both the supermarket and several restaurants are within about a 15-minute walk, making everything easy to reach without needing a car. In short, we had a fantastic stay and can highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to spend their time.

Very comfortable and spacious house, with everything you need for a great stay. When we arrived at the property we were met by Mr Salim who kindly showed us around. The property has a beautiful private garden with palms, a mango tree and vibrant flowers. It was great to be able to chill around the pool and to watch the many colourful birds who live in and visit the garden. Bonus friendly garden cat! It’s only a short car ride to the supermarket, local restaurants and the amazing beaches in the north of the island. We recommend the snorkelling at Balaclava beach, which was out of this world. We were given clear instructions on how to get to the property from Zareen and communication with her was great throughout. She also very kindly allowed us a later check out as we had a late flight home.

Really big, well maintained with all the facilities you'd want. And an exceptionally nice host! Easy stroll to restaurants and bars.

As we stayed in Winter the inside of the villa was quite dark.

+ very nice, caring and helpful hosts (what we really appreciate!) + access to private swimming pool + lots of exotic plants and colorful birds on the property + the presence of basic kitchen utensils and equipment + two bathrooms and three separate rooms in the villa + WiFi, YouTube on TV + a few kilometers to a well-equipped supermarket

- loud dogs barking around almost all the time, which made it hard to relax - uncertain neighborhood (not a completely safe and a lot of garbage around), but you have to know that this point is about all Mauritius Island (especially its north), not only one place - a lot of small mosquitoes (because of the beautiful vegetation), also when you swim in the pool. The hosts advised us to buy a good mosquito repellent stick - peaceful sleep and it worked quite well :) - there was little sunlight inside the house - the house was not cleaned well enough (sticky dust on the furniture, some dishes and on the fans, fungus on the walls, hair left by other guests in the bathroom) Note to the island of Mauritius: When you are going to the north of Mauritius, you must remember that there is a very large population there, which often results in various difficulties, such as beaches full of people, garbage, neglected vegetation and many crumbling buildings. We had no idea about this when we were going to Mauritius and it disappointed us greatly.

How we loved Lush Garden Villa! The beautiful garden, pool and the gorgeous birdsong were an absolute joy. The area was safe and quiet, with both the supermarket and beach within a few minutes drive. The apartment provided all we needed and the bed was comfortable. We made great friends with Youky too! Zareen and her family were very helpful and such kind hosts - you couldn't wish for better. We recommend the villa 1000 per cent.

Absolutely everything. Helpful and caring hosts, amazing garden with beautiful swimming pool, birds singing in the morning, clean and comfortable villa with all you need for a perfect stay. It was a real pleasure to spend time there.

Exceptional villa and gardens. No better place to stay in Mauritius. Excellent accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Pool area excellent, great to relax in beautiful surroundings with lovely flowers, plants and birds in abundance. Location is perfect, easy walking distance for restaurants and shop. Hosts went way beyond our expectations in ensuring we enjoyed our Mauritius experience. Zareen is such a lovely person, she took us to the supermarket to stock up on supplies, invited us to dinner with her lovely family which was a pleasure. Kept in touch via WhatsApp during our stay if we needed any help or advice. Top marks indeed. Wished we could have stayed longer as perfect base for getting around the island. We loved everything!

The property is new and private. We had absolute privacy with pool included. Host was super kind, we received support when we needed it and even got some great sweets. :) Zareen even offered to take us to airport when our taxi was late. If you are looking for peaceful and clean place for your vacation the Lush Garden Villa is a great choice.

Everything was great.

The garden is absolutely cozy and nice. You can spend hours between pool and veranda. Also the hosts were great. They helped us a lot and it seemed like they were permanently with us for everything we needed and to make the stay in Mauritius as perfect as possible. The accommodation has a cleaning and pool service.

We had such a lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay at the Lush Garden Villa, which we used as a base to explore the Northern part of Mauritius as well as parts of the centre and the capital. As we had a rental car, we found the location perfect for doing so. In the evenings, we were able to walk to a different restaurant/cafe for dinner every night (10-15 mins) as well as down to different areas of the beaches for the stunning sunsets. The neighbourhood was quiet and it felt very safe after dark. Our villa was spacious, very clean and well equipped with all the facilities we needed during our stay. Due to the layout of the villas, we also felt we had all the privacy we needed, even when there were other people around. The grounds in which our villa was situated are beautiful. There's a large sand garden surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees where you can spot and listen to many different birds in the morning. There's also a nice pool area where you can also sit and relax. One of the best things about our stay here was our hosts - they were genuinely friendly and also super helpful when we needed information on places to go and things to do. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.

This villa exceeded our expectations. It is set in beautiful tropical gardens. The villa is kept really clean by a maid that comes in several times a week. She even did our washing. The villa is modern, well maintained and had everything we needed. The hosts really were most welcoming. They were waiting for us on arrival to show us around. They then drove us around the neighbourhood to famiarise us with the locality. Throughout our stay they kept in touch by "WhatsApp". They made sure we had bottled water and even bought us some fresh fruit to try. They were most helpful and charming, making us really feel at home. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking of booking.

We liked everything

Spacious and very clean accommodation in the private vacation home of a nice family who lovingly cared for us. Most of the time we had the lovely garden with lots of colorful birds and pool all to ourselves. There is only one villa for rent. We did not have a car, booked our tours locally in Trou aux Biches, often used the bus service (10 min away) and bought our rolls in the morning at the kiosk (5 min), then had a lovely breakfast on the large shaded terrace with birdsong. In the evening we walked to the beach for a sundowner and had delicious meals in the surrounding restaurants. The area did not seem dangerous to us. We had two wonderful weeks and saw a lot of Mauritius.
