La limpieza en general es mejorable.

Maisonette très chaleureuse et confortable. Très beau avec un jardin et une terrasse vue sur la belle végétation. En plus de ça les hôtes étaient très gentil et accueillant. Ils nous ont récupérés de l’aéroport qui se situe à 15min en voiture seulement. On y retourne avec grand plaisir! 😍

Ubicació pràctica: Situat en una zona residencial tranquil·la de Negombo, a només uns 20 minuts de l'aeroport de Colombo. Entorn acollidor: La casa compta amb un jardí preciós. Hospitalitat excepcional: Els propietaris són molt amables i atents. El propietari va estar disponible des d'abans de la nostra arribada i la copropietària va ser encantadora. Esmorzar excel·lent: Per 5$, ofereixen un esmorzar molt complet i elaborat de forma totalment natural per la copropietària.

Comoditat del llit: El matalàs de les habitacions era molt prim. Climatització i insectes: Les habitacions només tenen ventiladors i algunes mosquiteres estaven trencades. Instal·lacions del lavabo: Els banys són molt bàsics (acords amb el preu econòmic que es paga), però la finestra no tenia mosquitera, la qual cosa feia que entressin molts insectes.

Spacious comfortable room with air conditioning and private bathroom, the garden and patio were lovely and peaceful. The family were lovely and communicative and helped us by picking us up from the airport and arranging a taxi for the day as well.

The second bed was hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, the location was quite out of the way

De foto's voldoen aan de werkelijkheid. De locatie is gelegen op Google-maps (Tuk Tuk Rental Ceylon). Het huis was verder helemaal goed. De airco's in de slaapkamers werkten goed. In de woonkamer is geen airco, daar is het vrij warm.

Ik heb deze villa maanden geleden geboekt in de veronderstelling dat ik op het adres zou verblijven: 103, Nugawela Road, Katuwapitiya, 11500 Negombo, Sri Lanka Bij aankomst hier werden we naar de villa gebracht, dit bleek 15 minuten van bovengenoemd adres te liggen. Bij aankomst daar vroeg ik aan de medewerkers hoe dit kon. Waarop ik de reactie kreeg, dit is wat u hebt geboekt. Kijkend binnen in de villa, dan kloppen de foto's. Dit is inderdaad de juiste villa. Maar bij het boeken heb ik ook naar de locatie gekeken en die klopte totaal niet. Na een bericht naar de eigenaar kreeg de reactie: "sorry, dat ben ik vergeten te zeggen, mijn fout." Dit vind ik best kwalijk.

A lovely place for a short stay near the airport, with a beautiful garden, a very kind and welcoming owner, and an excellent breakfast.We only stayed for one night, but overall it was a convenient and pleasant stop after arriving in Sri Lanka.

The cleanliness could have been better, and there were quite a few mosquitoes, although mosquito nets were provided.

Les personnes qui s’occupent de la villa sont vraiment très gentilles et prennent le temps de discuter avec nous. Nous nous sommes également régalés des plats sri lankais et de leur mangue cueillie à même le jardin. Merci beaucoup !

Der Garten ist wunderschön. Wir hatten einen Innenhof für uns mit Seerosen und Streifenhörnchen. Sehr nette Menschen. Perfekt für ein Ankommen auf der Insel.

Les bungalows sont très confortables et Krishan est un hôte formidable qui nous a beaucoup aidé pendant notre séjour au Sri Lanka. Nous avons aussi eu droit à un excellent petit déjeuner local.

Easy to contact host. Excellent service. My flight wasn’t until midnight the following day and I was kindly allowed to stay longer and was bought fresh coffee. Everyone was very welcoming. Wasanhta and Pryatntha were very kind and helpful.

Very clean and lovely although there were a few cockroaches in the bathroom but I think that comes with the climate and nature of the area!

The host was incredibly kind and brought us juice, welcomed us, picked us up at 3-6am from the airport, he also gave us very good advice and tips for the area. It has AC and mosquito nets which are very useful.

The place was not as clean as we hoped, an old pair of slippers was left there and the door did not actually close properly. The shower only gives cold water as well, which can be discomforting. Finally the room we had smelled a bit like mould probably from water being inside.

A lovely room with private courtyard, surrounded by a beautiful garden with fruit trees and plants. Spent our first two nights here and so please we stayed here and not Colombo or Negombo town. This place is in a quiet neighbourhood, but only 5 mins tuk tuk ride onto Negombo. Don’t know why you would stay in Negombo town! Owner locked us up from the airport at midnight. Lovely breakfast each morning for a bit extra. Had two cars and aircon in room and hot water in the shower. This place is excellent value for money and the owner is so helpful. Highly recommended.

Great host, very friendly! Me and my friends last minute booked this place as our other hostel wasn’t what we expected and left early. The host was great he was very welcoming and friendly! The rooms were very clean and great for me and my friends. The staff really looked after us. And also had amazing breakfasts! Wish we stayed longer! Definitely will be back

La nostra estada a Krishan Villa ha estat genial. Molt bon lloc per allotjar-se en arribar. Et venen a buscar a qualssevol hora per 7$. Son molt hospitalaris. L’esmorzar molt correcte per 5$ amb menjar tradicional d’aquí. Hem necessitat un taxi-driver que ens portés a Ella i ens hi han portat. Ha estat fenomenal!!

Clean and good AC make sure you have bottled water and be clear on your breakfast order. Great garden. Squirrels, crows, birds, fish and the staff were great

Firm matresses

We stopped at this villa to rest before catching our long flight to Toronto. The atmosphere of the villa is exceptional, and we really appreciated the effort they put into maintaining the beautiful garden. Staying in such an environment gave all of us a totally different and relaxing experience. Krishantha and his family are very polite and kind. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink, and they even made tea for our parents. The room and washrooms were very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The mattresses and blankets were very soft and comfortable. My mother lost her phone at the villa, and Krishantha kindly offered to bring it to the airport if that worked for us. He is one of the nicest and most honest people I have ever met. We will definitely come back to this villa next time as well.

Villa coloniale meravigliosa!! A pochi minuti in tuk tuk dal centro di Negombo, vicinissima all'aeroporto, quindi comoda come prima o ultima tappa (da preferire a Colombo!!). Camera bellissima, in un giardino molto curato con alberi di mango, mango che il proprietario vi offrirà all'arrivo! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Abbiamo usufruito del servizio di trasferimento per l'aeroporto ed è stato puntuale ed efficiente. Assolutamente consigliato!!

I had a wonderful stay at Krishan Villa. The lady host was extremely kind and thoughtful. It was very hot, and even though we hadn’t booked an AC room, she upgraded us to one without charging anything extra. That gesture meant a lot and made our stay so much more comfortable. Her hospitality was truly amazing.

Nothing to complain about—everything was great.

Location is not far from the airport. Our flight arrived at midnight and we have to do the car renting process until 1.45 am. The host was following up with us and waiting for us to arrive. Then he greet us again in the morning with delicious mango juice as a welcome drink. The place is really beautiful with nice garden.

The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help us out with a very late airport pickup after one of our bags didn’t arrive. Plus it was a fabulous and delicious breakfast. The accommodation was clean and tidy and was perfect for our group of 4. Highly recommend

The sound of so many birds, couldn't believe I was in middle of negombo. Perfect 1bed villa, good kitchen and location.Host was helpful and friendly, brought us fresh drinks and food for free 😄 Great place to chill out before flying home

The first moment I stepped in, I instantly fell in love with the environment. It felt as if I was submerged in the depths of a natural forest within a bustling city. The atmosphere was soothing and quiet, accompanied with the sounds of birds and crickets. Speaking as a Malaysian, it felt like home. The room was surprisingly clean and well maintained in contrast to other homestays around the area. The host, Sir Krishan was very friendly and treated us as if we were a family. Being greeted with morning tea and the local Sri Lankan snacks was lovely. However, it was truly unfortunate as we were not staying long enough to take a stroll around the garden. I would personally recommend a stay of around 2 to 3 nights and really immerse yourself with the tourist spots around Negombo. Love from Malaysia! ❤

We had the most wonderful time at Krishan Villa – truly a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the peaceful vibe enveloped us. The garden alone is worth the visit; we spent hours just relaxing there, listening to birds and enjoying the calm atmosphere far from any hustle. Every corner has that perfect blend of nature and refined style. What truly made our stay special were the hosts. The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to the airport and nearby attractions, making it an ideal spot to unwind after travel or before heading out. The green cosy location was a great start for my Sri Lanka travel. The staff were all very kind, Tania picked me up in a very convenient way at the airport. They also brought me to Colombo. Was a safe stay, you can walk around the area for hours to discover new adventures.

The mosquitoes were attacking me the most here, was not any problem at other locations in Sri Lanka, but that’s not their fault of course.

The staff is very nice and helpful, and the garden is like a gardeners dream, taken care of with much love and knowledge. Location is very nice and quiet, away from busy streets and traffic.

The rooms were not very clean, but ok, maybe it's not good to measure with Western standards.

Very communicative host and staff. Tanya who helped us at the property was super helpful. Property itself is big and clean. Breakfast options were also good.

Bed and linen quality could be better

Location is in a quiet area in the streets of Negombo, but not too far. We had a vehicle so didn't need to walk. Hosts greeted us with drinks on arrival and were very friendly. Room was clean and tidy and the hosts also made some arrangements that we asked for even though we stayed only a single night. Good bathroom facilities, shower had good pressure and hot water.

A frog in the bathroom and some insects, but that was to be expected (we experienced the same in much more expensive hotels).

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, very clean, and feels instantly welcoming. The lovely garden is perfect for relaxing. The hosts are extremely friendly and caring – you can tell they truly value their guests’ comfort. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

The garden was spectacular. We had Total privacy in our own little courtyard, that boasted an outside shower! The family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We left at 5am and the husband drove us to the airport. A few mozzies, but that's to be expected in the tropics. We even got to witness some birds bathing in the bird bath in our private court yard. Everything was perfect!

The big Sofa bed made the apartment a little crowded..

Perfekte Lage, sehr nette, herzliche Menschen. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer guten Wohngegend, das Haus selbst ist von einem herrlichen Garten umgeben. Man hört nichts vom Lärm der Stadt, nur Vogelgezwitscher. Perfekt, um nach dem langen Flug langsam anzukommen. Das Bett war super bequem mit einer festen Matratze, es gab Aircondition und eine Ventilator, das Badezimmer war sauber und gut. Ich empfehle, das Frühstück zu nehmen, es ist lecker, Sri-lanka- Style, und man braucht bis zum Abend nichts mehr zu essen. Wir waren hier für die ersten zwei Tage und werden für die Nacht vor dem Rückflug wiederkommen.

Ein wirklich traumhafter Garten mit zweckmässigem Zimmer und dazugehöriger Küche. Alles nötige war vorhanden und man konnte sich auf der Terrasse gut entspannen. Für jene, die ein paar ruhige Tage in Flughafennähe suchen ist es ideal. Das Stadtzentrum und Strand ist allerdings etwas weit enfernt und es gibt nicht wirklich Restaurants in der Umgebung, für wen dem das wichtig wäre. Das Personal war ganz toll. Sehr hilfsbereit und herzlich und hat einem sehr Privatsphäre gewährt. Habe auch Früchte aus fädem eigenen Garten erhalten. War perfekt um 3 Monate Sri Lanka ausklingen zu lassen.

A beautiful villa set in large and peaceful gardens but still easy to get to the restaurants, busy spots and even beach. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Ms. Sugani who looks after the house was ever so helpful and kind and also an excellent cook. Mr. Wasantha was the most attentive of hosts. He looked after us, gave us great tips and it there was no problem he could not help us with. If you are looking for an authentic piece of Sri Lankan life and hospitality then this is the place.

Siamo arrivati a Negombo dopo un viaggio in India… che dire! Non potevamo ricevere un’accoglienza migliore! Per 10usd ci sono venuti a prendere in aeroporto. Non appena arrivati nella magnifica struttura, ci hanno offerto un succo di mango fatto da loro. La camera era molto grande e confortevole, ma soprattutto molto pulita. A cena ci hanno accompagnato in un ristorante di pesce (economico e molto buono)e ci sono venuti a prendere. Ci è dispiaciuta essere stati lí solo una notte. Abbiamo aggiunto la colazione (circa 8€ in due) che ci è stata preparata espressamente dalla donna della casa. Era tutto buonissimo, sembrava quasi un pranzo.

Het is een ruime nette kamer. Ook zijn de eigenaren erg gastvrij. Wij hadden 1 nacht geboekt en zouden de volgende dag pas om 10 uur vliegen omdat er geen boekingen de volgende dag waren voor de kamer mochten wij de kamer de hele dag nog gebruiken zonder extra kosten. Ook is het makkelijk om een transfer te regelen bij de eigenaren voor een redelijke prijs naar het vliegveld.

What a beautiful start to a trip in Sri Lanka! From start to finish they made our stay with them so easy and happy. They collected us from the airport which was a stress free experience and then also organised a transfer for us to trincomalee as well as looking after our extra bags while we are travelling. We are looking forward to ending our holiday here as well! Thank you so much for such a wonderful welcome to your home.

I stayed at Krishan Villa and it truly felt like a home. The garden is absolutely beautiful — full of birds, trees, and plants that are clearly grown with love and care. Every morning I was served fresh fruit straight from the garden, and it was some of the best I’ve ever tasted in Sri Lanka. The hosts were incredibly kind, warm, and accommodating. They prepared healthy, delicious vegan meals for me with so much thoughtfulness. I felt really looked after, and they were always happy to adjust things to suit my food preferences. My room was clean, quiet, and really peaceful. I also appreciated that they had a water filter available, which meant I could refill my bottle and avoid plastic. It’s a beautiful place to stay if you're looking for nature, kindness, and a slower pace. I left feeling truly nourished — inside and out.

We started our trip in Sri Lanka here. Our host was already waiting for us at the airport. Based on the photos, we had misjudged the room, but changing rooms was not a problem. It was a spacious room with its own entrance that opened onto a terrace. There's only one detached house in the garden, so "house" in the description is a bit confusing. Every day we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast with lots of fruit (from their own garden). Dinner was also good. Our hosts were more than helpful in arranging transport and excursions. Incredibly friendly and interested people. A wonderfully quiet garden with lots of greenery. It took us a little searching, but there's a supermarket and a bakery nearby. The homestay is a bit further away from the tourist part of Negombo but easily accessible by Tuk Tuk. There's not much to do in the immediate vicinity, but the Angurukaramulla Temple is within walking distance.

We truly enjoyed our time at Krishan Villa. Krishan and his team were so welcoming and helpful, making our stay incredibly comfortable and even collected us from the airport . The room was surprisingly big, and we particularly loved the enclosed courtyard and outdoor shower – a great touch! Breakfast was a delight, with a wonderful spread that included fresh fruit from their garden, sweet pancake-style treats and fresh cooked eggs. Our hosts even took the time to talk us through our options for onward travel to Sigiriya and organized and car to take us. Location is about 8 minutes tuk tuk away from the main strip which was ideal for us as we didn't want to be in the thick of it.

I can’t stress enough how lovely the hosts are at this property, they made sure we’re comfortable from morning til evening. Breakfast is amazing, Offering airport pick up drops offs on a great rate, and the garden! Absolutely beautiful.

The garden is so beautiful and very safe. The breakfast is substantial with a variety of pancakes fruits omelette tea coffee and much more. Also lots good restaurants at the beach

We eyjoyed stay in this villa.

After a long journey, we chose a quiet and comfortable place near the airport for our first night in Sri Lanka. We absolutely loved it—the natural and peaceful atmosphere, the unique and delicious food, and the warm hospitality. The people were incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended! They also offer full concierge-style services, including airport pickup and more.

Fine size room. Big bathroom. Amazing garden. Lovely owners. A very friendly couple. Nice breakfast. Close to the airport. Free drinking water. Nice sheets /bed. Last minute booking (i just landed on the airport then I booked it) was perfectly possible. They offered pickup with their car but I got a tuktuk ride via an app instead cause that would be faster and a bit cheaper.

Everything was great except that there were some tiny holes in the muskito net so the room was not fully bug free.

Nice villa in a quiet and cozy neighborhood near the airport (except from San Sebastian day) . Comfortable room with AC and hot water. Great for it's price. Very convenient if you need to spend some hours in Colombo. Krishan and his wife were so welcoming, made delicious breakfast and dinner and took us from and to the airport a couple of times. Totally worth it

Nobody was there for the pickme. I had to find a different place to stay in the same day.

They are clearly used to looking after guests like us, collecting us from the airport in their van which was big enough for our tandem. We walked to breakfast through their well-kept garden, and there are so many other touches that come from years of experience in hospitality.

I stayed here for 3 nights and the experience was better than you could imagine. From start to finish everything was exceptional.
