Beautiful accomodation tucked away in stunning gardens with your own lake and ducks. Everything we need, we appointed interior and stunning private and relaxing location. We loved staying and would love to return.

The gardening and greenery in the area was maintained so well with so much effort of the owner. The kitchen facilities are particularly impressive, really worth cooking for some meals. We really enjoyed the time cooking there and spending time with family, playing badminton on the lovely green field. Seeng our kid running around in such free space so happily made our day already. The lake area is stunning. So beautifully maintained.

The mirrors in room and the wall painting which made me feel uncomfortable ; the top floor feels a bit creepy. Other than that, everything was nearly perfect.

Hübsches Haus in toll gepflegter Umgebung, mit Zugang zu einem schönen Tümpel. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Waschmaschine, Wäscheständer, Wäscheklammern etc., an alles war gedacht.

It was a great house in a beautiful location

Our family of four enjoyed the beautiful garden, yard games, and comfortable home for Christmas Eve. The home is just outside of town and is perfect for exploring nearby restaurants, museums, beaches & the little blue penguin sanctuary. Tea by the pond Christmas morning was picture perfect. The hosts are very kind and we would recommend this property to our friends & family.

Beautiful Gardens, comfortable beds, great quiet location. This would be a great stay for the wedding party or wedding couple. Maybe an engagement, you could do a lovely romantic picnic in the beautiful grounds

Probably not suitable for us personally as we had a 1 year old walker who decided he loved the stairs, so I spent most of my time on the stairs or trying to pull him away from the stairs. The lounge is located upstairs which made it difficult for us. This is no fault of the house just personal preference. It did feel like it wasn’t very clean, like a rush clean had been done. The fridge needs a deep clean and the dishwasher needs a clean run through it as it smells.

Nice property had everything required beautiful gardens.

Lakeside was charming. The property was good, but what made it spectacular was the peace of the countryside gardens. It was astounding to have the spacious lakeside grounds to ourselves. We loved it.

It would be good to have a light above the mirror in the master bedroom for putting on makeup.

The house was spacious, and clean. Pleasant decor in the bedrooms. The grounds were beautiful the lake, the garden, very well kept. The property was equipped with appropriate utensils, coffee cups and more than we expected.

Like many Airbnb‘s, the couches were not comfortable. The lounge room in the upstairs area became quite warm, perhaps a split system Aircon would be beneficial..

Amazing property set in a beautiful location. My son enjoyed going out on the lake in the boat. Miles was such a nice man and spent sometime with us by the lake chatting. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we are planning another visit later this year. Highly recommend this place.

There was absolutely nothing to fault at this accommodation, only that we didn't get to stay longer.

The accommodation is conveniently located near the city center. The host is extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and the property also provides a washing machine.

It was a nice surprise to walk into this lovely little house. Beds were so comfortable, full kitchen to cook meals and a great outdoor area. Unfortunately we only had one night but would have loved to stay longer

It was in such lovely private grounds and had plenty of bedrooms if you were a group of people

The property was beautiful for morning and evening strolls around the lake. The room facilities and utilities were all complete.

Private and relaxing environment. Very homely and cozy decorations. At night, you can look out from the long window upstairs along the stairs and see stars so clearly. It was positioned so perfectly we could see Orion's belt like a framed picture. The host came out to meet us when we arrived and helped us check in so quickly.

The accommodation is next to a warehouse (discreetly hidden by hedges) that we thought might be noisy but we heard very little.

The left side of the bed on the second floor is very close to the beam, making it easy to bump your head. Need a bit more attention. But not affect our pleasant stay here. We will be back for sure!

This accommodation was set in a park like yard with lovely flowers and garden areas. It had beautiful cosy bedrooms. Easy communication with friendly hosts. Appreciated that the accommodation was spotless!

We had a very wet couple of days and would have loved a door mat to stop our wet shoes making a mess.

We loved this gorgeous little place. It was perfect for our needs, it was clean fresh and roomy and we had all we needed for our stay on a wet evening in Oamaru. Fantastic hosts. Exceptional

This is a function venue. We assumed that if the property is available there would not be a function - was advised of a function only after booking and payment. If we knew there was a function we would not have booked.

It’s beautiful, like living in a garden. My dislike is that my stay is too short.

We arrived on a cold day, heating had been left on for us. The whole place was very warm and cosy. Beds were super comfy. Very large, well appointed kitchen, great shower pressure.
