Great location 20 mins walk through park to restaurants, cafes and tourist spots. Great staff.

Wet room shower with short curtain so tricky to keep rest of bathroom dry. Recommend walking through the park not the road side to get to/from town -- only pavement on one side of road not the top 10 side -- pavement not lit so a bit scary in the evening. Use a car for safer evening travel in the area (E.g. coming back from penguin viewing)

Facilities were clean and beds were comfy. Perfect for the overnight stay.

The facilities were clean and well maintained.

The only downside was that I couldn’t adjust the heater. Combined with the heavy rain and strong winds at night, the room was quite cold, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep :(

Best of all, a good price for a room within a few blocks of downtown Queenstown. I would also camp here if I came again. The room was much larger than I expected, clean and comfortable. My kid and girlfriend came over, and we could sit around the table and play games. I also had a little outdoor area with a couple benches that was very pleasant. There were several laundries in the park. The one I used was clean and did not "fry" my clothes. I had a convenient parking space. The staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help.

Location next to the botanic gardens and playground

The digital locks to get to the kitchen and toilets were very hard to manage and a real hassle. The kitchen smelled due to poor airflow, which may be related to the always locked door The room smelled of food and wasn't aired either

We just needed somewhere to stay for one night so had no great demands. Having said that, the whole experience was very nice. The park backs on to the Botanic Gardens which you can walk through to get into town. We arrived late afternoon, checked in with the very helpful staff, the room was great, we walked into town through the gardens, ate at a fantastic restaurant (Del Mar), then walked home. A great stay.

Tivemos uma boa estadia no Oamaru TOP 10 Holiday Park. Ficamos apenas um dia, mas o quarto e as áreas compartilhadas ofereceram tudo o que precisávamos. A localização é bastante conveniente, perto do parque, das principais atrações e lojas da cidade, é possível fazer diversos percursos a pé, sem o uso do carro. O staff foi cordial e prestativo, inclusive trocou nossas moedas para podermos utilizar a lavadora de roupas após o fechamento do escritório. Com certeza voltaríamos a nos hospedar aqui.

Easy to find, good location and the unit was very clean and comfortable.

There was an accessible shower but nothing to dry the floor with afterwards. Would be good to have a sponge mop or similar just to dry the floor.

The unit was very clean and felt fresh. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was amazing. The appliances were all good quality and looked new. A heat pump in the main bedroom was an extra luxury.

The shower curtain was too short and water seeped into the bathroom (a very small issue).

Great stop for exploration of penguins on the nearby coast. Kitchen and toilet had amenities and were clean. Not too much people around either, so little risk of having to wait in line for anything. Parking just outside cabin made it all very easy.

Maybe some more kitchenware to choose from, including pots and pans.

Mattras in the bunk bed below needs to be replaced- well overdue.

Die Unterkunft, das Bad und die Gemeinschaftsküche waren sehr sauber und die Stadt ist zu Fuß erreichbar.

Lack of lighting and signage very differcult to find cabin numbers etc in the dark also your gate way and at beginning pin number a wee bit differcult to begin with for some older persons like ourselves

Staff were very accommodating with our late check in and finding parking for our bus. It was a short stay but everything meet our standards.

Being able to walk around the Oamaru Botanic Gardens was a real treat.

When I arrived, the room key was taped to the door even though the office attendant was still on duty — it gave off a bit of a “don’t bother me” attitude from the front desk. For some reason, all the facility doors had annoying electronic combination locks, which made using the place unnecessarily awkward. The kitchen was equipped with the absolute bare minimum — no plates, bowls, cups, or utensils. I’m fairly sure the “filtered” water tap wasn’t actually filtered, since the water still had a stale bleach taste. Most of the time, half of the shower and toilet facilities were locked, seemingly just to cut down on maintenance. The spa was only open during office hours, which were inconsistent on weekends and never went later than 6 p.m. Honestly, what’s the point of having a spa if you can’t use it after hours? Overall, the whole place feels like it’s been set up to maximise profit with the least possible effort.
