Our Raglan Town House

Great location, walking distance to all the shops and the property was very spacious and had everything we needed for a long weekend.

Beds were quite old and bathroom could do with a fan for the winter months.

Would be great to improve it with a fan or glass shower door for the bathroom and maybe raise the hall mirror a little as it was even too low for my kids to use without kneeling.

Perfect location, just one street back from the Main Street. Easy walk to the beach and numerous cafes/restaurants. Very clean and well equipped, the property had everything you could possibly want for your stay.

How convenient the accommodation is to the town. Also very comfortable.

The black lamp in the two single bed room was unsafe to use. When it was plugged in, it was shorting. It needs to be removed and replaced.

I loved the location, nice and close to town but still tucked out of the way. The beds were very comfortable. There was an air-conditioning. Heaps of spare blankets, a few beach towels. The fridge was a good size. There was heaps of storage space. 2-3 car parking spots, and road side parking. There was a washing machine and a washing line. The shower was good, there was also a small bath.

I didn't like the the bathroom didn't have an extraction fan. There was no dishwasher but we didn't mind too much.

Great proximity.to town and nice clean and tidy Unit. Lovely and easy home away from home. Thank you for having us. 🙂

The location was fantastic! We could walk to town and lovely walks around the harbour. Supermarket across the road was great.

It is a cute villa with plenty of space. The property is older but clean and very functional. There were beach towels which was great. Also a washing machine and clothes line which is perfect for beach days. The location is outstanding. The owner was easy to communicate with and helped us to have a great stay. The shops and cafes of Raglan are a 2 minute walk making it super easy. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Super cute and well appointed place to stay in Raglan as everything is within walking distance. There is everything you could possibly need and more within this cosy little place. The only downsides are low water pressure and really soft mattresses but overall the positive aspects win out.

This is a very comfortable, well-equipped, clean and tidy property that had everything we needed as our home away from home. It was located within walking distance of Raglan's restaurants, shops and estuary. There is a Four Square right across the road for supplies, off-street parking, SKY TV, loads of books and games etc.

Absolutely ideal for our needs. Close (but not too close!) to a useful 4-Square supermarket and only a cock's stride from the town center, shops, restaurants. Facilities exceptional. Hard to imagine anything we needed but couldn't find. Helpful information provided. The Grandkids (living less than 20 km away but "out in the sticks" were able to come and see us, or we could visit them (only snag, old eyes unhappy to drive at night!) We'd been to Raglan lots of times in last 15 years, but great place as a base to visit other places in Waikato.

Sad to leave. Recycling a bit confusing but easy to resolve with street corner bottle / can banks. Broken gutter outside back door needs fixing. But that's enough nit-picking!

The property was a detached unit which was great. The location was perfect being just a few strides away from the centre of Raglan. Plenty of space in the unit with a great little extension for the entrance and seating area.

Sadly the Air Conditioning was NOT working on our arrival and this was a prime factor in my search criteria, especially as we were going through a hot spell. Reported this to the owners, they attended but were unable to resolve the issue, didn’t see or hear from them again so had to use the rusty fan they supplied to try and cool the place down.

The location was perfect. We were so close to town which made shopping very accessible. The property was very quiet at night, and we felt really safe. The restaurants and cafes provided brilliant variety.

The beds, although comfortable, were a little too soft for us. Not a complaint but just a preference for us to like a firmer mattress.

Perfect location - very short walk to shops & beach. Yet very quiet 😊 great service from the owner & very easy to check in.

The house is fantastic. Everything you could dream of, including spades and buckets for the beach. Extremely well equipped kitchen. So handy and easy parking.

Was ideal for our break in Raglan - cafes & shops nearby but was in a quiet location. The kitchen had everything for a self-catering holiday: great selection of glasses, milk in the fridge, much appreciated, & laundry. Everything was very clean. Comfortable beds with good selection of pillows. Easy check in via instructions sent prior. Would definitely recommend!

The bathroom & toilet would benefit from having extractor fans: if the windows are opened, you were overlooked by the balconies of the apartments next door.

The location was perfect!!! Right across the road from the 4 Square and a 2 minute walk unto Town..The Place itself was nice and quiet. Super easy to use the code given to get in. Was very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for our 2 night stay - although we didn't do any cooking but everything you needed was there. Beds were clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the 2 of us!! Would definitely recommend to anyone as it ticked all our boxes..

Nothing really! We couldn’t work out how to work the TV so instructions would be good. But it didn’t really matter as we weren’t there for the TV!

Fabulous location - right in the centre of Raglan. Clean, tidy. Everything we could possibly have needed was provided. Wifi worked well. DVDs provided were a bonus.

Shower floor is very slippery - would benefit from a non-slip mat, or non-slip tiles.

Nothing really. Maybe a sign stating parking in front of the garage only. We arrived and parked next to the garage and the lovely lady next door informed us it's her carpark. This is really for her benefit so she need not have to inform people like me lol .

The location is just perfect and we loved being able to walk everywhere. The Four Square just across the road was a bonus! :) The accommodation was immaculately clean and so comfortable for a family of 4. We had everything we needed. This place is really comfortable clean, relaxing place anyone would enjoy, the hosts have thought of everything, So it doesn’t matter if you forget something, great for families too. So much better than any hotel, fantastic value for money, you leave feeling like you have had a holiday . Also you can walk to everything.

More towels would have been nice.
