My beautiful wife got stuck in Fiji so I’m here alone. On arrival beautiful rock music is playing, place is immaculate as a chef it’s sever OCD this was amazing, all amenities are available and go above your standard Airbnb, rental. Tv is massive, shower majestic, beach is literally 4mknutes walk. We have the local shops less than 2minutes walk away. The walk to Coromandel cove is standard 40-50minutes walk regardless of where you book BUT this accommodation is solid. When you open the door you’re hit with all kinds of amazing floral smells. The decor between a reformed classic rock drummer and a woman who has just discovered her Zeb. Place is epic. Make sure to leave your make in the book we are pieces of history.

I spent 4 nights here and it was the best of all the accommodations I had booked for my 3 weeks north island winter road trip. You can walk to cathedral cove directly from the this charming house that is also a perfect base to discover the best of what the coromandel peninsula has to offer. It's also very well equipped and so comfy. So glad I stayed here, would love to come back ! Very highly recommended !

Superb accommodation that has everything you could possibly want for a great stay. Full kitchen, super comfy bed, great outdoor deck straight out from living area. Cool vibe with lots of decorator touches. Comprehensive information booklet provided, good communication from owner and even shovels for hot water beach. We walked to the start of the Cathedral Cove walk from here- no need for the shuttle bus. Just a short walk to main beach as well.

Amazing property - it was comfortable, lovely, and we couldn't have asked for a better location for access to the beaches and eateries.

Exactly like the photos, spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a great shower and bed, and new towels. Within walking distance of cafés and the entrance to the Cathedral Cove walk. It was a great stay.

The Hahei Beach Bach was a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. It was a great, central location and we could walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. The bed was very comfortable and everything worked well. It was a good place to stay in Hahei.

Ironing board could be normal size allowing you could store the board in wardrobe hanging area, deck chairs had bird dropping all over them, had to clean and wash before we could enjoy sitting outside

Quiet setting with lovely outdoor space. Everything was provided for and the bbq was a great addition. Excellent facilities, they even provide spades for Hot Water Beach, which is a stone throw away.

Really fully equipped stay, gavin has everything yoh might need, lots of adapters and phone chargers for all your needs, nice coffee machine, apple tv, netflix, big tv, nice yamaha music combi, nice grill outside. really well equipped kitchen, everything neatly organized. Lots of windows for natural light to come in. Really nice place to stay for short or long stays. Only missing thing is a washing machine if you plan to stay longer but i think you can get that sorted out if you ask gavin

Nothing really, i lost the key to the house, but Gavin was really nice and popped up with a spare in minutes.

Very quiet and modern accommodation within easy walk of all the local facilities. Ideal place to end our long trip to New Zealand and catch our breath before travelling home to Scotland.

It would have been excellent if the property had a washing machine, but I understand that this requires sacrifice of other space / facilities.

I highly recommend staying at the Hahei Beach Bach. It’s in the perfect location just a few minute walk to everything you’ll want to do. This vacation home is on a very quiet street, it is spacious, plus the bed is exceptionally comfortable. Gavin the owner went above and beyond from the start of our trip when I let him know we were arriving late he immediately responded that he would turn on the lights for us making it extra easy for us to check in. He was extraordinarily responsive answering our questions and sharing helpful tips during our stay. I whole heartedly recommend staying here!

This Bach was in a very quiet street, tv had Netflix and Apple TV so we could stream our shows at night. Kitchen was fully equipped and the bed was comfy. Contact with Gary was swift. Free parking in the front and it’s about a 50 min walk from here to Cathedral Cove.

Some of the decor wasn’t my style but that’s just personal. It was clean, so that’s the most important factor!

What a little gem of a property! We loved our stay here. The space is perfect and Gavin had provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is a really cosy and quiet space which was perfect for us.

The location was great. The house was tidy and neat and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The owner even let us check in early so we could drop off our bags so we could go out and do some sightseeing. Great price aswell thanks again, Gavin.

Friendly and prompt host. Net, clean, and tidy. Love the birds chirping in the morning. The kitchen is very well equipped. Quet neighbourhood. Location close to Cathedral Cove beach. Short driving distance to hot beach.

The host was extremely helpful and supportive, we actually had such a poorly planned trip and he went above and beyond to support us to have a easy and good time. I could not sing enough praise about the host.

Hahei Beach Bach is a great place to stay. The facilities are great and there are lots of utensils in the kitchen. I don’t remember staying anywhere with such a good selection. The bath towels were also one of the best we have had in the past three weeks that we have been travelling. Gavin was very good. He checked in to make sure everything was good and also gave us some advice for where go. We would definitely recommend staying here and would come back again.

We loved the location of this property on a quiet street in the middle of the village. Easy walking to the beach, shops and cafes. The apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. Would highly recommend to other visitors.

Minutes from everything we needed in Hahei. It was inviting, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and shower, smelled great, and the laundry access was so appreciated!

When we walked in, the vibes were amazing! Scented candles, music playing just set the scene for an awesome weekend.

Incredible! Spacious layout with every amenity you would ever need. Walkability to restaurants, brewery, liquor store as well a grocery market. A full size fridge that was not tiny like most have in NZ. Also, a 55" TV we used to watch Netflix, comfey bed. Just wish we had booked for two nights here. Ken & Rhonda

Wonder little spot so close to everything in Hahei, easy walking distance to the market/restaurants, the beach, and the shuttle to Cathedral Cove. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and one of the most well appointed kitchenettes we’ve ever stayed in, with quality cooking items. Lovely decor, fun bright colors.

Gavin’s Beach Bach was quiet, so comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved the decor and the very comfy bed. The recommendations list was so handy and we loved the pizzas we bought and ate on the deck as the sun set. Highly recommended
