We liked the facilities and the convenience of the location. The reception staff was also really helpful in giving us advice and recommendations.

The price was quite expensive for one night.

Overall, it was an excellent accommodation. The bed and pillows are very comfy, the place was clean and has everything you need for cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Quite pricy but otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Immediately greeted on arrival and shown to our room. Very clean room. Excellent location in walking distance to cafe, brewery and Hahei Beach.

The cottage was perfect! Hahei is a beautiful small village with easy access to the beach and close to surrounding areas for daytime exploring. You can walk to cute stores and eateries or hop on the walking trail to Cathedral Cove right outside your door. A shovel and towels are provided for beach adventures. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The property is an oasis of plants, trees, gardens, outdoor seating and tables. Would definitely stay here again when we travel back from Texas!

Very good location about 20 mins walk to the Cathedral Cove Trail entrance. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped with amenities. It is only 5 mins away from the beautiful Hahei beach by foot. Excellent reception. We were able to check-in early at 1pm.

Quiet, lovely stay in Hahei. Perfect location for us to then go explore Cathedral coves the next day! Amenities were as described and when we arrived quite late, the staff kindly provided details on a page left at reception for us. Place was clean and beds were comfy, a lovely cafe nearby for breakfast in the morning as wel.

Television reception was very poor. Had a wet day so couldn’t do much and it kept lagging and then completely stopping what you were watching. Window joinery was a bit grubby

With low tide timed at 10am, a strict 10am check out time was enforced despite the accommodation not fully booked. Even 30 minutes would have been much appreciated. The room was full of mosquitoes. Need to get fly spray from the general store

Nice location which is a walk or short drive away from the beach. Is about a 20min walk uphill from Cathedral Cove drop-off point, which you could not park at while I was there (April). Close to brewery and some shops.

Less a beach resort and more a holiday home park. The room was fine but it was very expensive for what was on offer (single room with a separate bathroom and shared outdoor area). My room (number 1) was next to what must be a residential property so there was some noise during the afternoon. This is by no means anyone's fault but it was not exactly quiet.

The location was better than we could have possibly imagined. Immediately on the path to Cathedral Cove, immediately next to several small shops and a brewery (but tucked away up a driveway, so it felt totally secluded), a 5-minute walk to the beach, and a 10-minute drive to Hot Water Beach. The owner even let us borrow 2 spades for HWB when we checked out, and just trusted us to return them later! Absolutely lovely. I wish we’d stayed longer

Tatahi Lodge is a wonderful gem of a small resort, nestled right in the middle of the village of Hahei. Our room was clean, spacious, cozy, and well appointed. The resort is located just steps away from two great cafes, an art gallery, a boutique, and the Cathedral Cove trail.

Yung, the owner, was really helpful with explaining location, walks, and facilities. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable Facilities for cooking, washing machine, and tumble drier on site. The location is fantastic, close to café, bar, shops and the beach and a stones through from the start of the cathedral come walk.

The owner was incredibly helpful when we arrived and also managed to accommodate an early check in for us. The room was beautiful, bed was huge and comfortable and the garden out back was a nice touch. We also appreciated the beach towels that were provided. Location was very handy for beach and close to the nearby eateries and brewery. Highly recommend!

The only thing was where the plugs were located in the room. The plugs were behind the bed so we had to move the mattress out to plug things in. A small price to pay for such a lovely stay!

The staff were helpful and friendly. It had a great vibe.

We were disappointed with our accommodation at Tatahi Lodge. The room was clean with nice bed linen and towels and a good quality toaster and kettle. There was also a microwave and a fridge. However, at $298.00 p.night, it was totally let down by the fact that there was no sink in the kitchenette. A rubber collapsible tub was provided for doing dishes which involved ferrying water from the bathroom to the bench in the kitchenette. We feel that the price does not reflect the lack of this facility.

Each room is actually a little private bungalow, they were quiet and private and fully furnished with kitchen supplies, smart tv with Netflix, and even a BBQ. Location is excellent! Right near the beach, Cathedral Cove is a nice walk away from our rooms, theres a general store right outside for all your cooking needs. All in all, a very quaint little beach side experience!

The rooms were clean, but they could have been cleaner. Some spots could do with a good dusting, and a deep clean of the carpet is in order.

The service from youn was amazing! He was so friendly, helpful and really attentive.

Photos seemed a little more prettier then the actual stay itself and the shower soap didn’t smell the best

Die Unterkunft war sehr zentral. Restaurants, Strand, Sehenswürdigkeiten (Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, Shakespeare Lookout etc.) waren sehr gut erreichbar.

Parkplatz war etwas klein.

The bed was only a double, not a large double as advertised, and it was too soft for our liking.

Nothing to fault about the property though the room is starting to date in terms of feel. It was also really expensive for what it is. Not a lot different to a cabin at a caravan park.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage #4 and it was lovely. The entire place had tons of windows and fresh air. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were very nice, the bed comfy and the location was great (close to everything in town, the beach and the Cathedral Cove walking trail.

Ottima posizione, sia per la vicinanza alla spiaggia di Hahei (meravigliosa) sia per il sentiero alla Cathedral Cave. Al di là di questo, l’appartamento era carinissimo, molto accogliente, dotato di tutti i confort e immerso nel verde. Ci tornerei sicuramente.

Location was perfect for the reason we were in Hahei. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and pleasant. Staff were helpful, and efficient. Enjoyed our stay, just the weather was abysmal.

Two night stay in the 2 bed ‘cottage’. All was wonderful, nicely furnished and equipped, comfy beds, private laundry facilities, outdoor furniture. Great location, easy walks to beach, shops and the cathedral cove walk. Friendly reception staff too. Hahei is a lovely area, we hope to return again…next time for longer.

An awesome location just up from the cafes and shops with a few minutes down to the beautiful beach - great not having to drive. Great King beds in the studio units.

Just the fact there was no sink in our studio unit apart from the bathroom but couldn't fill the jug without using a cup.

We spent one night, our room was clean and quiet. The location is great, super short walk to Hahei and to the beach, walkable to Cathedral Arch and a 10 minute drive to parking for Hot Water Beach.

Location was excellent; bed was very comfortable; team accommodated an early check in.

Kitchenette area no sink (yet they expect you to wash dishes & provide dishwash & teetowels). Need to wash dishes in very small sink in bathroom. Toilet is very old and badly stained. No full length mirror (we were there for a wedding so needed that). Zero storage, only x4 coat hangers on wall hooks. The property is dated and old, needs a refresh. The outside area gardens are very tired.

Amazing location and the staff really add to the atmosphere. You seem to have to figue out how the shared living it works as you go, but eveyone appears to embrace it and it works. Our dauhter loved having other kids to play with. Bathroom facilities are old and tired and could do with some TLC.

Awesome location, close to all amenities and the best beach. This area was one of our favourite in our travels and we loved the Tatahi Resort.

Het is een mooie locatie dicht bij Cathedral Cove in een mooie omgeving. De studio was schoon.en had een prima bed.

Een kitchenette met koelkast, magnetron en waterkoker stond in de omschrijving. In werkelijkheid alleen die onderdelen, zonder kookplaat, zonder gootsteen. De “kitchenette” was e3n plank waar genoemde op stond. Een bord of kopje afwassen moest in de wastafel, waar het bord niet in paste. In de omgeving 2 restaurants waar je een burger kunt eten, een pizzeria en een restaurant met 4 “main courses” bestaande uit vis. Zelf koken kan niet: eet smakelijk. Hoewel schoon was de toiletpot zwart van binnen.

the location couldn't be better. Literally 1min walk from all the restaurants, shops. We stayed at the Tatahi backpackers lodge. At first this was a bit strange for my family. This was their first time on share house kind of thing. But all the concerns rapidly went away. The room was spacious, very clean and everything looks new. On first night wife had little trouble sleeping due to the pillow. I spoke with the staff and they were more than accommodating and give us another pillow which my wife was happy with it. The share area always spotless, multiple fridges . Lots of games for the family. Overall this was a very experience. Highly recommend.

ランドリーの終わりが18:00迄なので、午後のアクティビティーから戻ると、1台しか無い洗濯機と乾燥機はいっぱいで使用出来なかった…😅もう2台程増やして欲しい…😆

Great location

We’ve just stayed again (our fourth time) and we still absolutely love this place. It’s the kind of spot that feels easy from the moment you arrive – welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely well run. The staff were excellent: friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat or a local tip without ever being intrusive. The place is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a great stay, whether you’re stopping for a night or settling in for a few days. What we enjoy most is the atmosphere. It’s got a really nice mix of travelers, and we’ve met people from all over – English, Chinese, German, Thai – which makes it feel warm and social, but still peaceful when you want to wind down. We recommend it every time and it’s become our go-to whenever we’re in in Hahei.

Unable to read titles on TV and so small, not pleasant for watching anything. Inside dining chairs a little uncomfortable. Mirror is in wrong place in bathroom, should be over the basin.

La cosa migliore della struttura è la vicinanza all’inizio del percorso per arrivare a Cave Cove. Inoltre, sembra di stare in una baita di montagna, ma in realtà si è al mare

Poca privacy, per arrivare alla nostra casetta bisogna passare davanti alle altre. Bagno un po’ datato, da ristrutturare.
