Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Traumhaftes, großes, gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus am Rande des Ferienortes Hahei. Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar. Der Shuttlebus zur Wanderung Cathedral Cove fährt direkt hinter dem Haus ab. Das zur Anlage gehörende Restaurant ist sehr gut. Leider hatten wir Pech mit dem Wetter, aber selbst bei Regen hält man es gut aus.

He had a lot of information and suggestions of attractions in the area and a map prepared for me. The location is great, walking distance to everything with a good restaurant attached. The garden is beautiful and we parked the car right outside of our room. Although we didn’t requested breakfast, the room had a plunger coffee maker, which was perfect for what we needed.

Kan niet zelf koken, alleen magnetron en ijskast aanwezig.

Lack of air conditioning in the rooms was unfortunate on a hot evening, but we had a fan to keep the air circulating.

Check in was super informative as they wanted to help plan the time sensitive activities (I.e., when best time to visit hot water beach, etc). We booked dinner at the Church Bistro and it was excellent! The ambiance, staff and cuisine were top notch. The cabin bedroom was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was large with a very roomy shower (with great water pressure).
The only thing I would say is there is no air conditioning. Windows and 2 large fans kept the temperature pleasant for sleeping so we had no issues.

Reviewed Nov 29, 2025We loved the cottage. It felt like we were in our own little oasis. It was lovely sitting on the very private deck- so peaceful. The Church Bistro and Restaurant was a great place to eat. The food was delicious. The accommodation was also well placed to walk to the shuttle next door to get up to Cathedral Cove. We were able to use the shovels and towels provided for a donation to use at Hot Water Beach. It was a great place to visit at sunrise. The Church is also an easy walk to the shopping village if you need any supplies, a coffee, icecream or the local brewery.

Breakfast available to purchase, and is dropped off the night before so if you need an early start you can eat at your convenience. Perfect walking distance to beach and cathedral cove, great food and beer in walking distance too, and had shovels and beach towels to use for hot sand beach!
