The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Christina was a very responsive host.
We really enjoyed this lovely cottage in the countryside a few miles north of Sligo. Our host was kind and welcoming, even brought us biscuits for our tea upon arrival. Wish we could have stayed longer. We literally smelled the newly-mown hay upon arrival.
Not a major issue at all, but guests should know that only the TV in the kitchen is a smart set with apps. The living room is entirely comfortable of an evening, however!
The house had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Very quiet location.
Cosy and comfortable
Nothing not to like…
Cozy and absolutely spotless.
Everything was perfect
It felt so homely and had everything we needed and was so warm and cosy! Christina was so friendly and helpful.
Clean comfortable and private. Perfect stay
All good no problems
Christine was a wonderful host. The house was toasty when we arrived and we were personally welcomed. There was ample of everything and the house had a lovely homey feel and beautiful views.
Don't change a thing.
Fantastic location with all the amenities and facilities required for a young family. Farms across the other side of the road to take the children to look. Fantastic.
We loved the location, the cleanliness, and the coziness. It housed the four of us nicely, and gave us a nice place to unwind from our travels.
The mattresses were very thin - we could feel the springs in our sides - so we did not sleep all that well. Everything else was so nice, though, that it was offset. We would stay there again - we would just like it more with better mattresses... LOL.
It was a quiet country cottage. The only sounds we heard were the birds in the trees anf the cows in the fields. The purpose of our visit was to climb Ben Bulbin. The starting point is only 10mins by car. Also very easy access to Sligo town, Rosses Point and Lissadell house. We visited the Carrowmore Megalithic site and Glencar waterfall which are nearby. Christina was very inviting and left us with everything we needed.
Nothing at all.
The cottage was excellent in a beautiful part of Sligo. Our host Christina was brilliant and looked after us very well.
The location was fantastic with east access to Sligo beaches and mountains. A paradise for lovers of the outdoors.

Location was very good for us, close to everything but quiet for the children at night.
The location was amazing, very near Ben Bulbin in Yeats country.
It was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was great to be near so many places.
I loved the peace and quiet of the beautiful surroundings, and the quaintness of the old cottage which was like stepping back into another time. it was immaculate, extremely well equipped, cosy and welcoming. The host Christina was really friendly, knowledgable and kind.
nothing.
Spotless, comfortable cottage. Close to lots of stunning areas.
Location, cozy warm and inviting
The shower backed up during the rain, no cleaning supplies on hand to clean up ourselves
location is very close to mighty Benbulben mountain. Excellent attractions near by.
The cottage was clean, plenty of facilities and nice and warm. Beds where very comfy. Great location that suited our needs.
Cottage is lovely and well kept. Good size for family and the location is great for activities in North Sligo, Donegal and Leitrim.

The charm and cozy feel of the cottage. Plenty parking and outside area. Not too far from lots of attractions and shops, pubs, restaurants etc
The shower could be better and you need to update your mattresses, they are a bit springy and soft. Maybe a bit more storage for clothes in the bedrooms.
Spectacular scenery in this rural setting. Only a short drive to the village and main roads. The light and bright cottage was spotlessly clean, fresh, and cosy. Instant hot water is controlled at the touch of a button. The central heating is very efficient. There is plenty of guest parking at the side of the house. Our group of four ladies enjoyed the comfortable accommodation in the beautiful Sligo countryside. It was a perfect quiet retreat!
Nothing we did not like! We advise phoning ahead for the eircode as it makes finding the cottage easier!
Very nice welcome from Christina. Our family had a lovely time at Grogagh Hill Cottage.
We spent a very pleasant 2 nights in Grogagh Hill Cottage.
The open fire, the amazing host, the location and the stunning views
The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied. The location is very close to Grange Village and lots of family attractions locally. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely choose to stay there again.
The host was fantastic and so helpful. She made us so welcome and had the fire lit for us coming home on a cold day out. The house was fantastic and so homely .I would recommend this location to everyone. We had a brilliant few days staying there and will definitely be going back again.
The cottage is on a beautiful sleepy lane . Fabulous views and overlooked by Ben Bulbin Mountain. The real fire in the kitchen was so cosy and warm. Christina out host was great.
everything was excellent will definitely return . late check out would be great , 11am very early . Dogs 🐕 welcome if well behaved and sleeping on kitchen only would be added bonus 😉. Most home rentals are dog Friendly now and can even charge extra for them etc .
The house had been kept simple and unfussy while having all that was needed to be comfortable Christina was very welcoming, gave us an excellent introduction then left us to enjoy ourselves. The fire was lovely, and extra fuel easy to access. The situation was wonderful - right under Ben Bulben and looking out at Knocknarea - with all we wanted to see within about half an hour's journey
I was a little sensitive to some of the strong odours of the cleaning materials A coffee pot / cafetiere would have been nice!
Four of us stayed comfortably in her cozy, warm remodelled stone house. We had a view of the ocean and were surrounded by sections of land with sheep grazing and only 5 minutes to the conveniences of Grange.
We loved everything!
Christine was so welcoming to us when we arrived accommodation was excellent clean and in lovely condition and surroundings where breath taking
Property was spacious for our group! Host was lovely and had plenty of suggestions of things to do nearby.
I liked the cleanliness.and that we met our friends for the weekend away from home.but all the comforts of home
Location was excellent and host was friendly and helpful and even booked us a table at one of the local pubs/restaurants on the first night. Will definitely be back. Great spot to use a base to explore the North West.
Perfect cottage for a family get away
Host was lovely & friendly, gave us milk & biscuits to save us going to the shop for them.
Nothing
Beautiful, picturesque location. So much to Within a close driving distance, and essentials like a full grocery store and restaurants are only minutes away.

Christina as host is awesome. Very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Grogagh Hill Cottage is a gem. The area is quiet but close to beautiful spots.
When every piece of equipment seems to be breaking apart during our stay- but not a big deal as we enjoyed our stay.
Nice property just need to be a more dinning facility we booked for five adults but dinning chair only three and hand shower was broken otherwise very nice
Location
Lovely cosy bungalow suited our needs perfectly. The scenery is beautiful and tranquil. Very close to village with shop and good pub for food
Just a little thing, more cutlery needed
The location was very central for visiting family close by. The house had a lovely cosy and warm feeling to it. Christina could not have been anymore helpful. She was very welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including extras for my sister’s toddler. We all had a really lovely stay.
There was nothing to dislike about the property.
Property was in a great location, very homely , comfortable and clean.
Ideal location for planning day trips to a wide variety of amenities
Very cosy cottage with a home-like feel to it, perfect if looking for a break from hustle and bustle.
Cars needed as it is quite rural.
Cozy authentic Irish country cottage. Had everything we needed. Christina is a wonderful hostess and gave us great dining and sightseeing advice.
Nothing
Very nice cottage, next to the quite road so no traffic. Big enough rooms, cozy seating room and well equipped kitchen.
I can't think of anything.
Location, value for money
Cutlery needs to be ungraded
So quiet, warm with all conveniences you could need

Perfect, highly recommended.
Very nice place, clean and confortable. Very nice guest, very flexible and available.
A huge turf fire greeted us on arrival. Christine was very welcoming and happy to chat and recommend places to visit and restaurants. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided including g all cooking requirements. The cottage is ideally located for visiting Sligo, Mullaghmore, Strand hill, Bundoran, the Glencar waterfall and Yeats Grave.
There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect for our group.
Very clean and cozy house. Everything was provided for us by the host such as the turf and logs for the fire. She also explained everything very clearly and even if we had questions left, she gave us her number. She had a little booklet in the cottage which had information about everything we needed and also tourist attractions in the area. Overall, the host was very organized and we felt very welcomed when we got to the cottage. The host also provided us with a bottle of wine and Christmas gifts as we were staying during the Christmas break which was a wonderful gesture. Lastly, the property itself is in a great location, close to all the main attractions in the area.

Nothing - everything was absolutely perfect
The homely feel and the amazing host.
Beautiful views, cottage clean, spacious and cosy. Christina ( owner) very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Advert says 0.6 miles to shops/town but was 2 miles. We didn't have car until family member lent us car otherwise would be impossible to get around. Bus goes to Sligo hourly but 2 miles from bus stop!
beautiful location and a lovely seat out the front to have a drink in the evening or a cuppa in the morning.
Everything was great! Christina is a lovely host. Place is spotless. Spacious and comfortable for us 6 adults and one baby. Closer to all attractions. Loved outside bench.
Exceeded our expectations. Location perfect for us between one of Ireland's cleanest swimming beaches, Streedagh and Benbulbin, The Loop and Glencar
Location was fantastic, in the countryside but close to local shops / restaurants etc cottage itself was very well kept, spotless and the hostess was lovely, would definitely stay again

Lovely place, great location, had everything we needed and was very clean. There was a fire set in the stove which my sister was dying to light but because of the nice weather we didn't. The cottage was very warm and cosy, we had to keep the windows open the whole time and needed no heating at all.
Really was nothing we didn't like about this place. Close to Grange, Mullaghmore only 10 mins away and views were fabulous.....
Perfect little homely setting to get away from it all and lying right under the majestic Benbulben mountain. Not too far from the many beautiful beaches and towns if you needed to get supplies.
Nothing to fault only wish the weather had of been better for us especially to enjoy breakfast outside on d lovely bench.
Was lovely house, great size rooms. Very clean and location was amazing.
Nothing house was amazing
Christina is very friendly and helpful
Extremely clean and comfortable property
The house is great, it slept 7 of us, so comfortably, there was a beautiful stove with plenty of turf and sticks. It had all amenities needed.
Nothing it suited us perfectly. I would definitely do groceries before going to the house.
Very nice place to stay,I just feel a Fue things could have been left out like Tea ,coffee. Made be brown bread just a welcome idea.,and maybe some things for the bathroom . shower jell. And washing powder.i know we brought our own stuff but it would have been nice. Netflix was great to have so we really enjoyed that.my son Joseph and myself. And thank God we were able to change my car as there is no where around the village to change it.so we where really happy 😊😁😊😁😊 about that so thank you so much for that.. really nice place to stay 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
There was more than enough space for all family members, with a great view.
The house is lovely. Very secluded with plenty of rooms and beds. It very nicely decorated and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We were met on arrival and shown how to use everything. Christina was really nice and while we didn't see her after arrival we knew we could contact her if we needed to. Thanks for a lovely stay!
