Old house but renovated well, great amount of kids toys and books. My 12 month old son was obsessed with the wooden walker. Well stocked kitchen with lots of cookware which was great. Lovely cosy fireplace for those chilly nights. Location is very close to town, easy to walk in and grab a coffee or something to eat.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2025離Wanaka city center很近，步行到湖邊大約也只需要3到5分鐘，房子寬闊很舒服，還有一個自己的小院子，我們是八月中來旅遊，天氣非常寒冷，屋內有一個小火爐可以自己生火取暖。有洗衣機、烤箱、微波爐，附近走路2分鐘，有超市。非常舒服的地方。還有很多小朋友的玩具。（注意！電熱水壺和其他耗電產品不要同時使用，不然會跳電，我們第一天晚上就沒有足夠的電暖器可以使用（因為跳電緣故），還好第二天一大早屋主來幫忙處理）

Reviewed Apr 2, 2025A great place!! Close to town, extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped , there’s a washer but no dryer - but cloththing lines outside , bring your own detergent . WiFi was decent - best in the single bedroom . Overall a great , comfortable , clean place and would rent again in a second- home away from home in Wanaka!

I was impressed with the wood supply and matches for the fireplace, no searching for a lighter! We had a last minute booking, Bernie was quick to respond, easy to communicate with and made my long day much easier. Totally recommend!

There were plenty of helpful touches for our toddler like a toy box and high chair, the outside area was also a huge plus. The house is clean, tastefully decorated and very spacious.

Lots of living space, a lovely kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and even a laundry room (which we didn’t need but would come in handy!) and a beautiful patio and outdoor space were all a part of this property. Awesome place to stay!

Reviewed Jul 25, 2023It was very clean and very tidy. So handy to everything. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen had great amenities. The bathroom was very functional as well. The fire was amazing but had a bolt missing on the top. It created huge draft and the fire went out fast. But it was awesome to have a lovely fire.
Dirty duvat on one of the beds. The electric blanket was on 3 and we didn’t notice till 10pm when we got into bed. I would hate to think what would of happened had we not used the bedroom. The bed was so hot we couldn’t touch it. I would feel more secure had the bathroom windows had some covering like a blind. Tv was broken but that got fixed in really quick time.

Our young family has been fortunate to stay here for the last 2 years and I would highly recommend it - not only is it so close to town but everything has been thought of in the house as well as being super comfortable for a family and very cosy. Air conditioning off the lounge was good for two of the main bedrooms. Good outside eating area and off street parking.
