Reviewed Sep 18, 2026The location was perfect being able to walk everywhere. We appreciated that the place was very modern, clean and had parking so we didn't have to have our car on the street. Bonus that David and Jenny were very friendly and were able to accommodate our need for a cot.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026One of the only places we stayed that was really warm in winter. The apartment was well sized, super comfortable, modern and kitchen + bathroom were really well equipped. Owners lived next door and were very responsive and helpful. Location was a quick walk from wanaka town center.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Very good location; literally minutes from central Wanaka. Very good facilities except for an extremely small tv - ok for News but not great for watching a movie. Excellent bathroom & great shower. Dishwasher & washing machine were much appreciated. Really well designed and thought out apartment with good storage options. We really appreciated the offer to check out as late as early pm but in the event left just after the regular 10am check out.
More crockery & glassware would have been useful as the dishwasher cycle was quite long. We bought more mugs - smaller, finer china (Opp Shop) as the tea doesn't cool down as quickly as in the big chunky mugs.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2026A one bedroom apartment attached to the hosts home. Easy walking distance to the town and its excellent eateries etc. It is equipped for catering for yourselves if you wish to. The apartment has been well thought out and has plenty of storage. Good communication with host.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2026We received an earlier check-in upon arrival. David & Jenny were extremely welcoming as well so we felt right at home. Property was really well designed and very clean. Shower was amazing! Kitchen setup was really good as well as we prefer eating in whilst travelling. Really safe area and literally a stones throw from Lake Wanaka. David & Jenny also let us take part in some kayaking & paddle-boarding on our final day which was a lovely gesture. Thanks for an incredible stay!

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, they have thought of everything.

Reviewed Nov 29, 2024This is a sleek, stylish, and quite comfortable space for travelers. Everything is very new and spotless, and I like the high sloped ceiling and woodwork in the living room - kitchen space. David was very kind to let me park my rental car in the driveway for easier parking than on the residential street. I very much enjoyed my time here and can easily recommend this as a perfect base for exploring lakes Wanaka and Hawea.
I couldn't figure out how to operate the cooktop or microwave (and did not want to wake david so early for help). I finally got the cooktop to work for cooking my morning oatmeal by checking out a youtube tutorial.

I loved the space and the experience was complimented by David and Jenny's warm welcome. They create a perfect balance of offering and leaving you to enjoy your stay, knowing you could call out at anytime. The space was incredible with beautiful furnishings and everything I needed for the week.

Lots of storage space in closets but could be better optimized with hangers/organizers etc. Kitchen edge missing caulking. Technology I.e., central heating, microwave oven etc quite complicated and not very user friendly if not familiar.
