Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, schöne Einrichtung, gute Ausstattung., ruhige Lage und eine sehr freundliche, hilfreiche Gastgeberin. Auch mit Netflix für das Heimkino-Feeling abends. Uns hat nichts gefehlt.

The property was very well presented throughout & had everything you need for a short break. Situated in a beautiful countryside location, it was lovely to be able to walk through the fields to see the horses & cattle. A lovely host family who made us so welcome.

We loved the lodge. Veronica was a great host. There was some wine and some flowers on arrival and another bottle of wine on my husband’s birthday which was a lovely touch. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities and appliances. Plenty of towels were provided. WiFi was great. Bed was really comfortable. Highly recommended

Not a complaint as we had such an amazing time. Suggestions only. Tv had poor sound and only access to netflix. Couldn’t access other apps on tv even though we had our own profiles. Could do with a chest of drawers in the bedroom as no storage upstairs although some hanging space downstairs. Would have liked a table to go with the 2 chairs outside.

The apartment is located close to Riverstick, which is at 10 km from Kinsale, really nice towns! Perfect and quite with fabulous views from the terrace of Lodge 3. Everything in the apartment is well thought, the building is new, arquitecture is cool, furniture is fancy and the host Veronica a lovely and energetic person. Very relaxing surrounding! There are cows on the farmground and dalmatian dogs around.

Nice cosy Lodge. We had a wonderful stay. The host, Veronica, was so welcoming. A standing fan was provided which was extremely useful especially during this Summer high temperatures. A highly recommended place to stay. No regrets.

A beautifully presented and decorated property - very stylish, with a gallery bedroom and comfortable beds.

There was a lack of storage and hanging space for clothes - we had to live out of our suitcases, and without a chest of drawers, there was a lack of surfaces for hairbrushes and other oddments. Having the only bathroom & wc downstairs was a minor incovenience in the middle of the night.

Country setting with horses (no lamas to be found) but cows aplenty. The walking on the proper was calming. The lodging was spacious (loft setting) beautiful views out the bedroom & kitchen windows, heating was fine. Property was ready and well equipped.

No personal contact but texting took place.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was a nice escape from the villages and cities. Beautiful walks right outside your doorway. Felt safe and felt like we could spread out and relax. Also feel very luxurious at the same time.

Beautiful location just a short drive from Cork City, Cork Airport and Kinsale which was perfect for us. The lodge is beautiful and peaceful. Veronica was so welcoming and kind and I really appreciated the welcome package treats upon our arrival that was a very sweet gesture! Cannot wait to visit again!

Veronica was a warm and welcoming host. She was so helpful during our stay and her recommendations for restaurants and things to do while in the area were great! The location was perfect. The surrounding area was beautiful! What a perfect place to stay!!

Loved the dogs on the farm and how friendly everyone was

The lodge was beautiful and had everything I needed for my stay. Location is excellent. 10 minutes from Kinsale and half an hour from the city. Veronica and Maurice were excellent hosts and very helpful if you need any advice on where to go or what to do. Would highly recommend.

Bathroom door makes some noise!

Curragh Farm is located on the bus line between Cork and Kinsale, but make no mistake, the only place worth seeing in the entire county is the farm itself. The indigenous population this Riverstick estate consists of but is not limited to horses, Dalmatians, cows, diverse and interesting guests, and last but surely greatest — the Kelleher family: polite and friendly children, the ever-laboring Maurice, and the caring, generous self-proclaimed Mama Bird Veronica. The lodges are self-contained luxury units with all amenities and actually decent WiFi located on a prosperous cattle ranch somehow fitting into the agricultural theme with warm accents of Veronica’s unmistakably hospitable style. Unlike hotels, the units are equipped with fully stocked kitchens, an electric shower with decent water pressure, and comfortable beds with a ludicrous number of pillows. If that weren’t enough, the hilltop property provides picturesque views, a forest nature path, a vibrant local community and a babbling brook nearby. Are you sold? They have Netflix. Why? Because the Kellehers make everyone feel at home.

A large table outside with seating for the purpose of socializing would be simply divine.

The location was so beautiful. It was so peaceful. We loved walking along the farm path and we especially loved being greeted by the dalmatians almost all the time. All of the places we visited were easy to get to and most were very close to the lodge despite feeling like we were away from civilization when we were at the lodge. Tanya was so helpful and gave us so many great ideas.

I really have no complaints. I admittedly was a little worried by the slow response times through booking.com prior to our arrival however this may have been their issue. On the day of our arrival I found that I had many messages from the host.

Curragh House Lodges had everything we needed and we enjoyed our two nights there. The rural setting is lovely, as is the forest walk nearby. Veronica and Maurice made us feel very welcome, and we appreciated the added touches of wine, bread and milk, very much.

We loved the farm location & were able to explore the beautiful farmland. Within an easy drive to Kinsale town (lovely) where we took a harbour cruise though we we’re pleased to return to the peace & tranquility of our Curragh House lodge. Our hosts Veronica & Maurice were delightful & helpful.

Everything, I loved the soda bread, wine, and chocolate. Also, Barry's tea and coffee provided for your stay. What an ideal place to stay, so near kinsale, Carrigaline, and West Cork. The farm had horses and alpacas.

Wished we could have stayed longer. Best place we have ever stayed. Therefore, I didn't like packing the bags.

The location is just perfect, 15 min drive to cork city, or Kinsale, the property is very quiet, clean and well equipped, Veronica is super friendly and we felt welcomed

Situated in a beautiful rural area within walking distance of the local village and only 10mins by car from Kinsale. Our apartment had gorgeous country views and was most comfortable. Veronica greeted us on arrival and could not have been more helpful or informative.

Very fun place instead of doing hotel :) The farm walk and forest walk are all good. Friendly host with introduction and surprise in the room. Super nice touch. One of the best we rented in this Europe trip.

Well equipped, lovely rural setting, max 15 mins into Kinsale, great hosts, parking, tea & coffee, milk, butter, bread left for breakfast which was a really nice touch. Also great to have salt & pepper and some cooking oil provided.

We loved the style and welcoming touches. The unit is well furnished for self-catering, including condiments for cooking, fresh bread, butter and jam!! Also, thanks for wine!! A great spot to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Veronica was friendly and very helpful.

Area is was lovely and quiet considering it's a farm. Lovely atmosphere and everything you needed. Location was ideal being really near kinsale and close enough to cork city. Cosy, comfy and a luxurious place to call home for a short stay.

Appliances needed a deep clean and some general maintenance needed as things are starting to show some wear.

Apartment is very nice and with all equipment needed. Host is very kind, helpful and communication was good. Recommended.

I loved the property! It was so comfortable & cozy. Victoria is a wonderful & so accommodating. I highly recommend staying at Curragh House!!

Really pretty area with some original features kept to the barns that were transformed into these beautiful lodges. Loved seeing their horses, alpacas and especially their dalmatians! Lodge number three had a great view of the valley we were able to see people playing the sport of hurling off in the distance. We also liked being able to walk down to the local and only pub in Riverstick which was really fun and we did it two nights in a row. We also went to the Flour House bakery for some really good coffee and bakery items.

Only knock would be the water flow in the shower.

Lovely loft accommodation in a restored farm carriage house was spacious, clean and completely modern. Located on a country estate with horses, alpaca and two very friendly dalmatians, this place is a great base for those with a car exploring the Kinsale area. Great WiFi and well-equipped kitchen. Hosts are enthusiastic and helpful. Easy parking for drivers.

Little to not like. Stairs are necessary to reach the loft bedroom, and the bathroom is on the lower floor. Was not a problem for us at all but those with difficulty with stairs might find it challenging.

Veronica (host) was an absolute delight. Unfortunately, we had some issues with luggage at the airport so were unable to arrive at the home until 10 PM. She was very accommodating and met us with a smile and walked us through the homes. What an amazing experience to wake up in such a beautiful space. Each house was beautifully decorated and walking the property we met horses and cows and llamas!! Just a quick drive and we were able to enjoy Kinsale. We also spent an evening with locals and the pub just down the road! I would absolutely recommend adding Curragh Homes to your stay in Ireland.

Clear instructions on getting to the lodge and a very warm welcome on arrival from Veronica and the dogs. Slept like a log for the 3 nights which is rare. Beautiful location, perfect for exploring the area. Absolutely loved our stay.

The perfect country retreat! The Curragh House was one of many stops we made on a two week adventure across Ireland and it might have been the best! Lovely all around.

Everything was fine

The view from our patio was gorgeous. The owner left a nice bottle of wine and we watched the sunset from the patio on top of a hill overlooking horses on the beautiful Irish countryside. The accommodations were professionally decorated and currently built on the site of a farm with alpacas, horses, and three friendly dogs. We enjoyed the fully appointed kitchen with the oven. Sometimes when traveling we enjoy cooking our own meals as a break from eating out.

The property was hidden somewhat from the road. Better signage from the main road would have been helpful. Once we were on the property, we were pleased by the modern farmhouse accommodations.

I can't praise this place enough. Our stay was truly wonderful and memorable, thanks in no small part to our amazing host, Veronica. The location is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. If we hadn't planned so many sightseeing activities, we would have happily stayed and enjoyed the tranquility. The lodge exceeded our expectations—it was impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through this part of Ireland.

The Curragh House Lodges are located on a bucolic farm setting with the most stunning view of the lovely countryside. Veronica, the hostess, was friendly and gave us all the info we needed. This was a unique lodging that we will remember fondly.

We found the water pressure and the temperature gradations were a bit challenging.
