The house is stunning, the grounds are beautiful and so well maintained. Louis the Retriever was great company.

Nothing we didn't like. Ideal base for exploring Wexford. The only slight disappointment was we couldn't get a taxi into Wexford town in the evenings even though we rang 5 X different taxi companies. However Val did mention to contact him if we wanted to go into the city as he could be heading in himself but we didn't want to disturb him.

The Bellfry was beautiful, , warm , comfortable, well equipped, just about everything you could want to make you relaxed and happy. We just loved it and wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was absolutely amazing as always — a wonderful place, wonderful hosts, and a very lovely dog.

I feel like I might be shooting myself in the foot by writing this review. The Bellfry is the perfect rural escape for a couple that's far (but not too far) away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation was spotless on arrival with a lovely scent in the air, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need, including a Nespresso machine if you're a coffee lover. The resident retriever Louis is a gorgeous well trained doggo that loves his pets, he knows he's not allowed in the house and may throw a cute tantrum if he likes your rubs. The highlight of the trip for us was making use of the complimentary access to club Whitford's swimming pool, sauna and steam room, and getting some food afterwards, it made the stay feel like a complete retreat. We wanted for nothing and lapped up the luxury.

We wished the weather could have been better so we could have used the outdoor seating and tended to gooey Louis' needs more. We'll be back when the sun and the grand stretch sets in because of this!

The cottage is fantastic: warm, cozy and designed with so much love and attention not just to its looks but also to all your needs as the guest. It is perfect for peace and quiet getaway. Hosts are very accommodating and as a bonus their doggo is an absolute charmer who will be guarding your porch. Strongly recommend!

This place is truly extraordinary — a home with a soul. Spacious, cozy, warm, and filled with a special atmosphere that makes you feel peaceful and inspired from the very first moment. The hosts are amazing — incredibly friendly, kind, and cheerful. You can feel their care in every detail. The house is perfectly equipped — you don’t need to bring anything at all, everything is thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable stay. Een gezellig en smaakvol ingericht huis voor maximaal 5 personen, zeer ruim, fantastisch uitzicht en het beschikt over alle faciliteiten. Val was een zeer sympathieke gastheer en had ook een welkomstpakket klaargezet. Jammer dat we hier niet langer konden blijven.

The cottage is lovely, Val met us as we drove up the drive with the key. Wexford is a very short drive away(the National Opera House was wonderful). We will certainly be back. It is a wonderful find!

The Hosts left us a welcome hamper with everything we needed on arrival as breakfast was not included .

We had everything we needed the cottage is beautiful with every modern comfort so it would be very difficult to find fault.

This is a little piece of heaven, the location is perfect and the property is outstanding. The attention to detail is wonderful and the hospitality from Val and Eilish is second to none. Many thanks for the welcome basket, it was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend The Belfry and cannot wait to make a return visit. Thank you for the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend we have possibly ever had! A big shout out to Louis for his visits - it made our stay even more memorable.

Nothing could have been better - everything was perfect!

The Bellfry is a wonderful house in a beautiful location and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. A special mention has to go to Louis the Golden Retriever! My wife & I stayed for a couple of nights after travelling from Belfast. It was a great location as we were close to walking trails, the town centre and a couple of beaches. All of these places were no longer than a short drive away.

This place is hidden paradise. It exceeded my expectations. Well managed, beautiful place. Everything you see in photos is accurate. It's a big and warm house with all you need for a comfy stay. Thank you Val, and I will see you again 🤝

Perfect 3-night stay. The kind of place you are hesitant to let anybody else know about! Wonderful hosts, generous, immaculately clean, tasteful, peaceful, special.

This is an exceptional property and was everything we wanted and more. The hosts have thought of everything, from the warm welcome o arrival, to checking that we were happy during our stay . All this without being intrusive. We were comfortable and relaxed...it was great!

Self catering but the hosts had kindly provided a welcome basket of various foods and drinks. Location great - easy access to main roads.

Booking.com's description stating the property only had a toaster when there was a fully equipped kitchen.

Lovely secluded but spacious house, nice welcome pack provided. The hosts totally respectful of privacy but made themselves readily available when needed. An easy 10 - 15 minutes drive from Wexford town it's a great base for anyone wanting to explore all Wexford has to offer. Extremely peaceful country environment with easy access to some very good restaurants.

Val was awesome and extremely friendly! He made some good suggestions on things to see and do! Belfrey at Old Boley was quiet and out in the country and in a lovely setting! Loved the daffodils! After being on a bus tour the week before we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the laundry facilities! :) Would love to go back and spend a week or two! Very calming setting! Loved Goldie the dog also!

We loved every bit of it. Fab place to stay. Cosy, warm, fantastic attention to detail. Beautifully decorated. Lovely welcome food basket on arrival.. our Host was very welcoming and informative.

Our visit was too short. Would have loved to be staying the whole week.

Everything about this little piece of heaven was just perfect, we couldn't have asked for more, we are looking forward to visiting again soon.

A little gem! Sadly only stayed for a couple of days whilst visiting family in the area. Great location and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Hope to visit again some day soon!

What can I say, this is a superb house - gorgeously decorated and furnished. A real home from home, comfortable and containing everything you could wish for. The location is idyllic, so quite and beatiful. The host, Val, couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly or helpful. We had car problems and he organised a local mechanic to help us which I think is beyond the call of duty. The location is great too, within easy reach of any number of lovely and historic places of interest. There are also some great restarants in Wexford. I'd go back to Old Boley in a heartbeat.

There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this place.
