Reviewed Aug 29, 2025De ontvangst van de gastvrouw en vooral de goede verzorging van de gastvrouw. Elke avond vroeg ze of je nog een ei bij het ontbijt wilde. Ze onthield hoe je je thee het liefst dronk. Ze haalde speciaal voor mij een stukje heerlijke kaas. Ook gaf ze goede tips om de omgeving te verkennen.
Er viel niets tegen.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025Sehr nette Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen und liebenswerten Gastgebern. In der Nachbarschaft liegt ein Pub mit guten Burgern und natürlich Guiness (auch ohne Alkohol!) vom Fass! Wir durften den Kühlschrank und den Gefrierschrank nutzen.
Das Bett hat - wie eigentlich fast überall in Irland - nur eine große Decke. (Deshalb habe ich immer eine kleine Decke dabei.)

Chatting with the guests at breakfast was also a bonus, which doesn't happen in larger establishments. Claire, the owner is always present and has a lovely warm personality.

The property was excellent it's gardens and local amenities were perfect. The rooms and the breakfast was excellent. Would recommend this property to all travellers.

Claire and Colin were super hosts and seem to have thought of everything, including shelves in the hallway offering everything imaginable that guests might have forgotten. An excellent continental breakfast was included and the view of the garden from the breakfast room got the day off to a very good start. Just a shame that we only stayed one night.

The complementary mini-Irish breakfast was excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. They even washed the stains out of our son’s shirt after he spilled at breakfast! An ideal place to stay if exploring County Wexford.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2025Tolles B&B. Extrem bemühte, überaus nette Hausherrin. Tolles Frühstück. Man kann beim Frühstück die Singvögel vor dem Haus beobachten. Sehr ruhige Lage im wunderschönen Garten des Anwesens. Gemütliche Zimmer. Man fühlt sich herzlich willkommen.
Wasserdruck in der Dusche könnte stärker sein.

Selbst am frühen Morgen wird einem ein Frühstück zubereitet, mit zauberhaften Ausblick in die Natur. Es ist alles vorhanden und noch mehr! So viel unglaubliche liebevolle Freundlichkeit haben wir noch nirgendwo erlebt.

From the moment we entered, with a dedicated breakfast room in sight, we were certain of a delightful stay. Our room was well-appointed, exuding comfort and cosiness. Breakfast was an absolute dream, especially when enjoyed with views of the garden; the service was friendly, and the spread was generous. Clare, our hostess, showcased utmost attentiveness and warmth, ensuring we felt welcomed and cared for from the get-go. A special mention to the water sourced from their very own spring. We wholeheartedly recommend this abode. Furthermore, a visit to Wexford and especially the Ireland Heritage Center is a must!

Reviewed Oct 12, 2024We were celebrating a birthday on the day we arrived at Killurin and we came with our own wine and charcuterie fixings to enjoy a quiet evening in. Clare set out wine glasses for us and cleared us a spot in the dining room for our little celebration. It was much appreciated. There was a pub within walking distance, and we saw some of the other guests heading that way, but we happily stayed in.
It seemed there was no comfy common room to sit and relax on a couch or in cozy chairs. The owners were watching TV in what may have been that room, but with the door shut so it seemed off limits. The bed was not the most comfortable and the instructions left directing us to take quick showers was a little off-putting.
