The property is the house that Pat built to the highest spec. It’s a beautiful place with a superb view. It’s very comfortably furnished. The hosts Pat and Helen went out of their way to make me welcome, even ferrying me to and from the excellent local restaurant.

Nothing to dislike, all top notch.

We had the most perfect stay here. The rooms are beautiful, clean, smell gorgeous and have everything you need. Helen is the most perfect host. It felt like we were at home away from home. The bed was huge and so comfy and it was super quiet too! Stayed around the world but this has got to be one of the best places we've stayed.

Everything was beautifully prepared, Pat and Helen were wonderful hosts and the scenery was stunning. Would be back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely nothing.

This place was the highlight of our trip. Helen was the loveliest women ever and we wished we had more time to stay with her and the dogs!!! The breakfast was perfect for us as we are not big breakfast people but there was still a lot of choice provided. The bedrooms were lovely and spacious and the beds were so comfy. The beautiful outside spaces were so perfect in the sunshine. We wish to come back one day!

Lovely room

Lovely spacious comfortable room and very accommodating and friendly staff. Nice big garden for our young child to run around in. Good location both for getting into Wexford town and for getting quickly to the ferry at Rosslare the next morning.

Had an excellent first nights stay in Ireland at The Starlings Country House. We had a very warm welcome from Pat and he looked after us very well during our stay. Very nicely appointed bedroom with a separate dining/ lounge and great outdoor space. No hesitation in recommending to all.

The property is located in the perfect position to explore the South East of Ireland. The property sits in a large plot of land with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The most impressive aspect of the property is the owners Helen & Pat, with their sons Stuart and Alex and their families, who make the stay homely and very welcoming

¡Todo! La casa es preciosa, la habitación súper cómoda, amplia, limpia, confortable y acogedora. La cama era muy cómoda, la ducha maravillosa y a la decoración no le faltaba detalle. La acogida por parte de toda la familia fue súper cálida. Han tratado a nuestro bebé de forma excepcional dejando juguetes para él, jugando con él y preparando todo lo necesario para que estuviera como en casa. Nos ayudaron indicándonos que podíamos hacer durante nuestra estancia. El desayuno fantástico!

Helen and Pat are fantastic hosts that went above and beyond. Great craic and very welcoming. There home is full of life and beautiful country getaway just outside of town. Would've loved to have stayed longer!

Our stay was such an amazing experience from the welcome to the farewell bid. Lovely hosts, adorable friendly dogs, clean and stunning place - our "amber room" was so thoughtfully designed with smallest details (like wardrobe door knobs matching curtains) matching. Very very nice place. We will be back. Breakfast was very nice also. Good options.

We had a wonderful time at your property. It is a very beautiful and well-maintained complex. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. A special highlight for us was how our son was integrated into the activities and was allowed to use all the children's facilities.

A beautiful B&B in a beautiful setting! The room was so comfortable and spacious, and Pat and his daughter in law were both so friendly and welcoming. It’s in a great location very close to Wexford Town and lots of other places to eat/see. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we will have to come back to enjoy the view and patio!

A great place to stay. Warm, a very comfortable large bed, a new bathroom with a great shower. The views from the property are beautiful and the surrounding area is quiet. Patrick, the superfriendly owner, makes you feel very welcome. Also, he was babysitting 2 adorable little dogs when we were there that made for great entertainment. We highly recommend this place. 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at this five-star suite. The heated floors were a lovely touch, and the shower was absolutely amazing. There is also a cozy lounge area with complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, and even yogurts in the morning. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. Their grandson was visiting at the same time, and he had a playdate with our son — which made the experience even more special for the kids. They were very friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations for local places to visit. Definitely a place we would recommend for one or more nights!

We had the most wonderful stay with Patrick and Helen! We felt at home immediately, it was like staying with friends ❤️ The B&B room itself is also highly recommended! Everything is provided, from a beautiful bathroom and bedroom to a stunning view, and from cotton swabs to shower gel and toothbrushes. The bed was wonderfully large and very comfortable! So, enough advertising, but The Starlings County House should be on everyone’s Ireland bucket list!

The comfort of the room was lovely and so many little touches. It was a really great space with beautiful surroundings. The bed was so comfy and we had an everything we needed and more. Such a stunning house and really lovely people.

A proper hot breakfast would have been lovely especially for the price but the spread was nice. A bigger selection of dietary friendly options would be great like gluten free and dairy free.

We loved everything at this property. The location was beautiful and peaceful. It oversees a pasture with cows. The house is very beautiful. The room is tastefully decorated and very spacious. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has everything you can imagine that you will need. The owner is very friendly and so is the dog. We were offered some small breakfast which was very nice.

All good, great place! This is a home, you will need to taxi or drive a short distance to town. All of that is clearly stated. The stay is worth it, that’s for sure! The host is extremely accommodating.

Everything! Absolute stunning B&B. A house full of history, family but also still very private for the guest. The host was the sweetest person. We loved every second there. Cannot recommend enough. Beautiful garden. The room was super clean, honestly super classy. The mattress was soooo comfortable. Perfect experience!

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Pat dropped us into Wexford town rather than getting a taxi. The location is excellent. Out in the countryside but still only 10 minutes to the town centre. We would highly recommend this property.

The Owner’s were very friendly. They made us feel right at home. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was so nice with dual shower heads, light up mirror. All the necessities were covered. The bed was so comfortable and everything was remarkably clean. It felt very private and we enjoyed our stay there thoroughly. The breakfast was great as well.

Such a beautiful house; built in 1998 by the owner, it is presented exquisitely. The hosts could not have been more delightful - even to the extent of insisting we were delivered and collected from a recommended local hostelry. A small guest lounge was really comfortable and a light self-service breakfast was ideal.
