The thoughtful extras like shortbread, chocolate, cheese straws, nuts, and a generous amount of passion fruit made us feel truly welcomed. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Its great location made it perfect for exploring the area, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2025We had a fantastic stay. The house is in a very quiet and safe residential area. As we arrived a bit late, we received very clear self check-in instructions. Debbie was so kind to even switch on the house light to make it easier for us to access the house. Everything was sparkling clean, the house is built and designed with so much love and thoughtfulness. The apartment is spacious and has all storage options you might need. Large bedside tables (free of clutter) with plugs on both sides of the bed. Shelves and towel holders in the bathroom, a space for your clothes, great kitchen, large TV ... The whole interior is finished to high spec and it feels like a home, not a holiday let. Everything you might need and more was provided, Debbie even left some snacks for us. We felt we stayed with family and friends. We would love to return and stay for longer !!

The third bedroom is in garage. But it is a small apartment, very nice and private.

Use of the garage a big bonus especially when we were packing the car as it was raining. Very comfortable beds with great showers and great air conditioning. Definitely recommend this property.

Extremely responsive and kind host that provided everything we needed and more. She went several extra miles for us to make our stay perfect. Amazing garden, loved cooking in the kitchen, having barbecues, and our little one was crawling all over the place exploring every corner. Quiet neighborhood and perfectly located for day trips to the national park or exploring the towns around the sea. HIGHLY recommend!

There is a small fridge and microwave, toaster, kettle, and dishes, glassware, cutlery etc. and no other cooking facilities but we did not need them. Milk, coffee, snacks provided. Very nice bedding, and bathroom was clean and modern with toiletries provided. Washer and dryer in garage.

There are many thoughtful touches such as fresh milk in the fridge, snacks, bath bombs, dog towels, plums, throw rugs and chocolate. The beds are comfortable and the bath towels are fluffy. It’s the loveliest place we’ve stayed.

The hostess Debbie answered all questions promptly and provided many nice touches, ;ole milk in the fridge and cookies in a jar! We had tea outside on the terrace and breakfast outside too. It is a brilliant location near Lake Taupo.

Everything shows the host has good taste and pricier good quality items. The most comfortable place we ever stay during our two weeks trip at North Island.
Nothing about the property. The only thing that I can fault it was the supermarket was not walking distance. But still it’s about 12 mins drive to the nearby township.

Maybe a wall heater in the single bedroom the same as in the master bedroom. Our lady in this room did get cold.
